I own 5 pairs of Fryes, all in size 7, so I disregarded other reviews and ordered a size 7 again. They fit perfectly. I wore them 8 hours the first day with no problems. I needed something with a rubber sole for grip in the Chicago winters. My other Frye boots all have leather soles that are treacherous in snow and sleet. I love these boots and am already planning on ordering another pair in black.

Love these boots! They are both comfortable and sharp looking. They are supportive but feel broken in in a very short time. These are Classic!

Just do it. Buy this boot. I read all the reviews for days before deciding to buy my regular size (7.5). My foot is very average and a true 7.5. It fit perfectly for me - no up-sizing or down-sizing. I own one other pair of Frye boots and decided I love the fit so much it was time for another pair. I am glad I did and I will probably come back. The style on this Veronica shortie is classic; it will never go out of style. I am an athletic 55 year old and I do not feel ridiculous in these. I will age fine with them! Yay. They are simply fabulous looking and I have already stood all day long in them - feels like I can run in them (flexible souls). I got the vintage leather in grey and the color is very neutral. Love, love this boot! I received them in 48 hours also. Wow - Zappos. Probably need to just invest in your company. Love everything I get here.

I bought these for my wife and I was a rock star for Christmas! She put them on and has yet to take them off. Soft, comfortable and they don't look clunky. True to size too.

I'm a size 9 (slightly wide) and found these to fit true to size. Bought the vintage black and am so in love. I splurged on these with birthday money to help justify the price tag. They are expensive but I'm hoping to have these for years and years. These were comfortable right out of the box. These are my first pair of Frye's and I am a fan. The height is classic and can be worn at least 3 out of 4 seasons. Cannot say enough good things about Zappos. Free next day delivery is swoon worthy. Zappos is one of my favorite online retailers. The Veronica shortie is pretty perfect...a little rocker, yet casual.

Frye definitely makes the best quality leather boots, in my opinion. Zappos rocks! These boots are my favorite flats. Easy on, easy off. The red is the perfect pop of color!

Absolute gorgeous and comfortable too. In my old age I insist on comfort first and looks second. These are 1st is both! The red is true and the burnt look on the toe is fabulous!

Found these to run big. I'm usually a size 8. Have a 7.5 in Frye Melissa boots from several years ago, so ordered the 7.5 in these, but my heel is totally slipping out of the boot. So, will be returning for a 1/2 size smaller hoping those will fit a bit better. Love the style & quality of this boot, though! Can't go wrong with Frye.

I ordered in black, 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size. They fit perfectly right out of the box. Soft leather and tough lug soles will make this a go-to shoe in my closet. I wore these on the first day comfortably for 8 hours and did not have to break them in.

Love them! I've been searching for the perfect Frye boot, and I think I've found my match. The other reviews were so helpful to me! When I first put them on, there was tightness / stiffness across the base of my toes and the heel slipped. I wasn't sure I'd ordered the right size (7M). Another day I re-read the reviews and tried again, and decided to wait it out. The third try in as many days was the charm...the heel had settled into the footbed and the tightness at the base of my toes simply felt snug. Beyond that, there was no breaking in to speak of, though I'm not yet wearing winter socks with them. I expect no problem with that because I'm wearing them so much now! They're versatile -- looking good with skinnies, boot cut jeans, or slacks.

I had been looking for a boot with the right combination of a little bit country and a little bit rock & roll. It's cliche but it really works for this boot. These boots work with skirts, shorts, jeans, casual dresses. They are very comfortable! They are worth every penny. You will not regret buying these boots.

Love these boots! Contrary to most of the other reviewers, these actually ran big for me, and I had to go 1/2 size down (usually wear a 6.5 and size 6 fit me better). Very comfortable from day one and the perfect height.

I bought these boots for a trip I knew would involve a lot of city walking. I was looking for a stylish, comfortable boot with good support to minimize sciatica pain resulting from a fall. With these boots and a pair of Mephisto walking shoes I enjoyed a vacation without pain. The boot works well with leggings and under pant legs. The leather is very soft.

Frye boots are the best. I have over 20 pairs of boots and my faves are Fryes. They fit true and color is great

This would have been my 1st pair of Frye's. I ordered them on a Monday night at 5pm, and HOLY COW... they were at my door when I arrived home by 6pm the next day. AMAZING... for that I will now be a LOYAL customer to Zappos and tell everyone about them! On to the shoes... The color was almost spot on with the computer, a little less of the antiqued white-wash look at the top in real life (which was good, I was a little worried about them looking too worn at first), but really.. its a perfect taupe color. Gorgeous and will go with everything. I'm a size 10 in all shoes I wear, however this one was tight at the heel. I tried walking around the house a bit but the rub is just something I don't think would have "broken in". I was hoping to take these on a trip to Germany this weekend however, I'm going to have to send them back and either get a 1/2 size up (if available) or another style. They are definitely stylish and great quality (smell amazing... real leather!). However for this type of investment I want to make sure they fit.

These boots are so cute. I ordered a 9.5 and had to send them back as they were too large. Next I ordered a 9 and expect them to be perfect. I vary between a 9 and a 9.5 so in this case I guessed wrong. The Burnt Red are beautiful and soft. I can't wait for it to get cooler so I can wear them.

This is the third Frye boot I've tried in the past month, the other two being the Phillip Harness (short and tall). I loved the Phillip Harness in burnt red, but that back zipper and the make of the boot combined to feel too snug on my calves. As well, I had to size up half a size (no big deal), but even then they weren't comfortable. The Veronica's? HEAVEN. Perfect fit out of the box, soft, comfortable, don't need socks... and, contrary to what one other reviewer said, in my houseful of females we all felt they look great with dresses. These are keepers for a lifetime! The burnt red is gorgeous.

I bought this boot in the whiskey color early in the season and loved them the best of any boot ever...look wonderful with skinny legged jeans or leggins. They are so comfortable and easy to wear. I especially love the soft upper leather and ease of slipping into. I tried all winter to get them in black until, finally, Zappos let me know they were in stock. Winter was over, but I was afraid they would never be found again if I did not get them now. No regrets!
