Made in China Ugg - Received my Ugg boots and was so happy they fit my wide feet. The lining does not appear to look like genuine sheepskin but label says it is. leather is very thin. I compared it with my cousin's UGG made in Austrailia, big difference. Wish I could get made in Austrailia UGG

They are OK. The Ugg boots I purchased were made in Japan and aren't as nice as boots purchased in Australia.

I ordered my regular size, never had Uggs before and they were too small. I will reorder and see. Chestnut color if that matters.

These uggs are different then before, they seem to be a lot thinner Compared to the uggs I purchased last year, it must be Because the company wants you to buy the new water proof ones, but they are still comfortable.

Love UGGS, but, their styles, all fit differently. The Classic, they advised, order down a size, but, I didn't, due to the reviews. So ordered my normal size 6, and they were tight, and could never wear with socks. Could probably of kept, if I did not want to wear with socks, but, wanted to have that option, of wearing socks, or not.

I ordered a 9 because I wear a size 8 1/2. The foot bed is a little roomy, which would be ok with socks; however the shaft of the boot and the seam that meets the foot bed are both very narrow. It is hard to get your foot into the boot. It would also be difficult to tuck your jeans in.

My wife normally loves UGG boots, but this pair has started to separate at the seams. I am going to try to exchange them for a new pair.

I'm really surprised w/my latest pair of UGGs. The quality is subpar. Rather than feel like soft suede, which is what I'm used to, my latest pair are rough and feel cheap. I also purchased a size smaller as I always do and is suggested. Yet my current pair feel too small while wider than usual. This particular pair (Classic Short in sand) is already a replacement pair because my others torn and I'd hardly ever worn them. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm shocked. The UGG boots I'm familiar with seem to be no more.

I love the item and everything but the fabric and material is cheap my shoe ripped a little while I was putting them on for the first time to try them out and I'm so mad about it get get me not wanting to buy anymore from off here because I had several part of uggs and this never happened to them and on top of that these are bigger them my regular size so... It can't be my feet to big because they are already to big for my feet which I don't have a problem with.... But yeah I'm disappointed..

I was very disappointed in the quality of these boots not anything close to a pair approximately 4yrs old when comparing them the shearling was half of what my older boots are even after 4yrs of frequent wear. I have been a regular customer of Ugg products I will be looking at different brands and sending these back. I went to a local store that carries Uggs for a lot more money to see if they made for online sales at a lower price and they were exactly the same Lesser quality than any of my previous Uggs purchased. No reflection on Zappos.

About five years ago, I got these boots, downsizing from my usual 8 to a 7. The fit was tight, but I guessed that the fleece would pack down and the leather would stretch, and that is what happened. If anything, they became a bit big but great boots. So when I ordered this time, I got the 7. The sole was massively too long and the boot was loose right away. Since other reviews do not say this, perhaps this was a sizing error. However there is another major change. The sole of the new boot is very stiff, unlike the old ones, which were comfortably flexible from the start. I do not know what to make of this. I am so disappointed, since I loved my old Uggs, which were always comfortable and incredibly warm even when I stood around the dog park with wind and snow howling off Boston Harbor in our last frigid winters.

Most shoes are too tight in the toe and they are too loose in the heel on my foot. When these Ugg boots first came out big in America, I saved up my money to buy several pairs and lived in them, the ones with the zigzag sole, for the very reason these were the only shoes which did not slip up and down when I walked and fit in my toe box. They were nice and wide and yes, the whole "if you're a half-size go down" was correct. Now, they changed the sole to this "sunburst" pattern, made them narrower, put less fur in them, and even shrunk the ankles. They now pretty much join the ranks of the other average shoes which are too narrow, cheaply made, and have a lack of a roomy toe box because females are expected to have cute little narrow feet. These shoes also used to be much cheaper and then they raised the price, while cutting down on the materials used.

The info on these boots say, as is typical for Uggs, that they run large and one should size down. I typically wear an 8 1/2 - 9, so I sized down to an 8, which I have always done with Uggs. Every pair of Uggs I own is an 8. These in an 8 would barely go on my feet, and once on, they really hurt. I don't know if I just got a defective pair, but they are going back.

I have worn Uggs since the 1990s and I swore by them. In the last few years I couldn't understand why the new ones didn't fit my feet properly anymore. After reading the current reviews I understood you no longer had to order one size down but your true size. I ordered 2 pairs and tried again, sadly they still do not fit and are going back. e shaft is strange and you have to force your feet in the boot - THAT NEVER happened before...But the true reason is that they're no longer made in Australia, they are made in China! It explains why they not only don't fit but the quality of the suede and lining are so different from the Uggs of say 3-4 years ago. Uggs you had a good thing going why on earth change a fabulous product? I am having my "vintage" ones refurbished sadly no longer a fan.

Ugg Classic Short (and Classic Tall) Boots have one major flaw. The bottom sole of the boot is slick and slippery. I do not think that these could be worn on any icy or slick surface. Stitching over the top of the ankle may hit some women in the wrong place. These boots would be great for minimal walking days, as they are more decorative than functional.

Love the boots but the back seam ripped and the sheepskin/suede is so thin that each Tim it's repaired it tears again. No happy at all. Ugg won't guarantee them at all. So I have a left black classic short that's perfect and a right that has a hole in the back. Obviously I can't wear them so it's money down the toilet.

I purchased this boot last year from Zappos. This year I've had plenty of experience wearing the boots in the Pittsburgh area. They are great for warmth, but not on snow and ice. There is little or no traction with design of the sole...having had some very close calls falling.

Uggs just aren't what they used to be. The sole of the boot is about half as thick as my old ones. Not worth the money any more.

I went on the advice of some of the reviews & ordered my true size instead of sizing down as usual. The arrived today & are to big! Go with the size you normally buy in Uggs.

Bought these boots just under a year ago and realized today that they are coming apart on the back seam (the thread did not catch properly) on both the back part of the boot and shearling liner. Very disappointed as I took my time to decide to buy a pair of UGGS. These were my first pair, the cost was a factor, and I did not wear them overly "hard". It's sad to me since my understanding is UGGS is a great brand and I may have just got a random pair that was not sewn properly, but now I need to see if they can be fixed or not.
