I refuse to buy another pair of Uggs ever again. Every fall for the past four years I have had to buy a new pair as the previous ones have been damaged by a combination of snow and frequent usage even when I take the recommended pro-cautionary measures. I always spray them with the protectant and do not wear them on straight up wet days. But where I live winter means snow. You literally cannot touch an inch of snow without a permanent reminder of your misstep. Also, I find that I must wear athletic socks or the lining will get knotted and as a result become uncomfortable. I kept coming back each year because of the initial appearance and comfort but the quality is just appalling for this price.

I love the comfort of Uggs, and this would've been my 4th pair. Despite Zappos service being amazing, I was forced to return my new pair of Uggs due to sizing and quality changes since I last bought a pair in 2007. I typically wear an 7.5 or 8, and my old pair was an 7 and fit perfectly. I bought a 7 this time, and they was much too small. In addition, I noticed the quality seems to be a lot lower than it used to be and what should be expected for the price. If it weren't for the sizing issue, I probably would have kept them, but the decrease in quality is making me debate ordering another pair in the next size up despite loving and desperately needing a new pair of Uggs. I really hope Ugg increases the quality again.

I have to say I am disappointed with the new style,the are not the pretty chestnut color the inside is not as quality as the old style the soles are hard, they aren't as warm, living in mn we ave had some cold weather this winter and you can just feel the cold. I was planning on sending them back being I wore the indoors but sad to say my grandson spilt yogurt on one. So I am keeping them but will not be buying any more, after years or wearing Ugg I will have to depend on my older one. zappos is great, I think for the price and popularity they could make a better quality boot as before.

My boyfriend ordered these for me and when they came I was ecstatic! I put them on and they were great but then I noticed that one boot was tighter than the other. I put my hand in my right boot and the fur was very plush, thick and soft. When I put my hand inside my left boot the fur was thin and hard. I thought it was just me but every time I went to wear them I immediately noticed that they were different. Since it's only my second pair of Uggs, I thought that maybe there were natural abnormalities or something that could occur. Two weeks later, my boyfriend got me the Bailey Bow Tall Boot and they were both equally plush and tight fitting. On that note, I decided to send the short grey Uggs back and exchange them for another pair of the same boots which will hopefully both be the same. If they aren't, I'll just have to pay the extra money at the mall to have two of the exact same boots. These are an expensive purchase and should both meet the same standard of quality. I'm disappointed but I'm sure this is just a odd accident. We'll see what happens with the new shoes!

I received my first pair of Uggs for a Chirstmas gift last year. I initially was really pleased until I noticed a hole in the back of the boot after less than 1yr of wearing them. I returned them directly to Ugg who processed the warranty evaluation and replaced the boots with the same model;however, the quality of the replacements boots were extremely poor. They were thin and flimsy like knock offs. I was extremely disappointed and returned them. I don't understand why quality varies with each boot. After reading these reviews I see other consumers complaining about the quality of Uggs decreasing throughout the years, which explains my situation. They replaced my thicker boot with their low quality most recent model. I doubt if I'll purchase another pair.

I have 2 other pair of Uggs from a few years ago and I could tell as soon as I took these out of the box that they were made cheaper and it's true like the other reviews say that the sizing is different. I am disappointed at the quality of these, as well as the confusing change in sizing (I even live chatted with Zappos before ordering to see what size to order after reading others' Ugg reviews). I am sending these back and will just stick with my current pairs that I own.

These boots are like a sponge. I continually spray to protect them and they continue to soak up every bit of water from the snow or rain outside. They stain very easily. The soles are slippery and not practical in the winter months since they are very hard to walk in the snow. The foam-like soles soak in a lot of water, then they release it when I’m inside all over the floor. They hold a lot in the soles and are very hard to shake off. Everything just melts out of them. Next time, I will by a cheaper brand so I won’t feel so guilty when they get trashed from the outdoor elements. I gave comfort 4 stars since they do keep my feet warm when they are not soaked.

Wow, just got my shoes yesterday and am so in love with them. I've never had comfortable shoes right out of the box! They feel so cushy, and look really cute. I wanted some comfortable slip-ons that I could wear to work, or out casually. I'd recommend these shoes.

Questionable Ugg quality - Unbelievably, in only 6 weeks of wearing, a complete hole was worn through in the area of the big toe. I'll also add that this boot was ordered at the correct size and did not have an overly snug fit for this to occur. Fortunately, Zappos was wonderful and they were still under the one year warranty by Ugg which resulted in a replacement being issued.

Sorry folks, the quality ain't what it used to be - Just got these Uggs to replace a pair I got 5 years ago. I am VERY disappointed in the quality (they are now made in CHINA)...the sole is no longer stitched to the upper, but is a cheesy piece of material that is glued in place. The inner sole is no longer padded, and the upper no longer has the extra thickness at the toe and heel. In short, UGG has sold out. Cannot recommend these boots.

Get them a size and a half smaller!! I wear a 7.5 to 8 size shoe, and I got them in a 7 since the website advised me to get them half a size smaller. I DEFINITELY should have gotten the size 6. I advise that you definitely get them a size and a half smaller. Also, the black Uggs dye your feet black!

Good Uggs gone bad :-( I have been buying Uggs for years...they always ran 1 size large but now it seems like they are 2 sizes too big and made of cardboard...quality has gone way down in the last few years...I sent these back and won't be buying again...Glad I have lots of the old one before they went so cheap. Love Zappos though!!!

Uggs Little pricey - but worth it - I really didn't want to spend this much on boots, but decided to "bite the bullet", very glad I did. Bought a size small than I usually wear and they fit perfect without socks. Most comfortable and warmest boots I've owned, can wear them all day. I've bought other shoes from Zappos and always been very satisfied - great shoes, free shipping you can't beat it.

Uggs Classic short - Poor quality. I own real Uggs made in Australia and you cannot compare them to boots made in China. I had to return mine...

Ugg Classic Boot Review - I purchased these boots for my daughter for Christmas. The fur in one of the boots is very mottled looking. We have treated the boots with suede protector so can not send them back. I feel these boots should have better quality for the price you pay for them. I have seen similar boots for $30.00 and the fur was perfect.

Not what I'd hoped - I was really looking forward to getting these boots - I have Ugg clogs and love them. But when I got them I was disappointed. The fleece wasn't as thick as in the clogs, the sole is flimsy, and the sizing was off (I wear an 8.5. The 8 was way too big and the 7 was too small). Maybe what others were saying about the Uggs made in China is right. I bought a pair of Uggs Sundance, made in New Zealand, and they are sturdier, with thicker fleece. For something this expensive, I expected far better.

Zappos Great, Ugg Brand Bad - I just received my classic short ruby's. Zappos is great they up graded the shiping and my boots were here in a day and a half. I am however returning them because the quality of the boot made in China is absolutely horrible. I have a pair of the ultra tall's made in New Zealand and they are far superior in qulaity. I hope Ugg comes to their senses and stops producing these boots in China! Zappos returning is free and so easy though I would shop here again in a heart beat!

Much too big - I'm not so sure what's going on this year with UGG. I own 2 pairs from last year that fit perfect. I went to order the same size this year in the Pink Classic and it's huge!!!! Now I can't find the size I really need because noone has them left. Definitely order one whole size smaller than what you normally wear.

Love the Uggs - Have been wearing Uggs for many years-have a horse farm and they are perfect for pulling on and going through any kind of weather or job. This was my seventh pair-have them in all styles and couldn't ask for a better all around shoe.

Uggs: A perfect 10! Beautiful, comfortable and oh so stylish! I constantly get positive comments and am the envy of my friends. I especially love the color!

Animal cruelty bad for environment

I am officially no longer a fan of UGG. After owning many many pairs of classics , I just ordered them and can say that they are no longer made the same. The suede is hard and not soft and supple as it used to be. My foot won't even slide in without a huge struggle. Very disappointed. I guess this is what happens when they start making things in China. They may have saved some money, but they are losing me as a customer.

I have been wearing UGG boots for years. I haven't ordered any new boots in the last two years. I had to replace my chocolate pair and have found the quality of UGG boots made now are definitely inferior since being made in China. My heel slips in them and I am extremely disappointed. This is no reflection on Zappos. Zappos has always been great.....it's the boots that are truly disappointing.

I have been buying and wearing UGGS for years and love them to death. This is the same size and style that I have ordered over and over again except for the color and I could not get this boot on. I actually got one on after a struggle but could not get the right boot on at all - then I had to have help getting the left boot back off. I NEVER had this problem so either this was sized wrong or the quality has changed. Sad to say, I am not going to purchase any more UGGS very disappointed with the UGGS but always have a good experience with shopping at Zappos.
