New Balance WW901 - These shoes are true to size - to a big larger. The width is generous. They were comfortable from the first time I tried them on. The deep toe bed has room to accommodate thick socks or orthotics. I love them. New Balance knows how to do Wide Width Shoes.

Comfortable Shoe!! This is a wonderfully comfortable shoe for walking! I love everything about it except the look could be a little better, kind of plain and old person looking!

Perfect wide shoe - I have a very wide, square foot with a high arch. I love nice shoes, comfortable and fashionable. I am an educator and a mom and wife. I am on my feet 10+ hours per day. these shoes are made for my feet. I love them. I wear them all day and my feet are never sore. I recommend these shoes to anyone with a somewhat square shaped foot that needs comfort and fashion. I also wear an orthotic in this shoe.

Comfort - This is the first shoe I have worn that is comfortable for my toes.

GREAT COMFORT FOR WALKING - I bought this shoe for walking in Ireland with its cobbled, uneven surfaces in towns and rocky, rough terrain in general. Though not the prettiest shoe, they soon became my best friends! There was no breaking in time...they fit and were very comfortable. I have a narrow heel but need more room in the toes...and these were perfect. They look best with jeans but I wore them with everything but dresses. Zappos is the best for FAST and perfect service!

Love these shoes! I never thought I would buy shoes on-line but I have ordered 5 pairs now and love the fit, shopping from home and quality of each pair I have bought. These shoes are very comfortable and felt like they were "worn-in" the first time I put them on. You won't be disappointed if you purchase these.

Comfortable wide fit - So glad I got the shoes - I have been having trouble with finding shoes with a wide enough toe box - my toes were getting pinched by all the other shoes I tried. These are soft, and I can also fit in my custom orthotics - the heel is a bit low but I put a little heel lift in and it is just right.

I am recovering from a stress fracture in my foot and needed a shoe with support that would allow room for swelling during the day. These shoes are comfortable and soft. The laces have a tendency to untie which is annoying and they certainly aren\'t cute, but they allow me to walk in relative comfort without resorting to a full-blown walking shoe. I am considering another pair in another color.

Nice shoes - wow, they are so comfortable with their wide toe box in 2EE. However, the heel cups were too shallow to accommodate my orthotics, which are a bit elevated. The looks are okay, and they seem to be well made.

One very satisfied customer - The shoe was advertised as being suitable for those who wear orthotics, which I do. They were right! I put in my inserts, put on the shoes, and wore them all day. Very comfortable and supportive.

Good walker - This shoe, while comfortable, is not the most beautiful pair of shoes I've ever owned. In fact, I had to think about them for a week before I decided to keep them. They are a bit stiff, but will loosen up. I am going to Europe this summer and need to have ache-free feet. One thing: they don't look 'touristy' (which is not a bad thing).

These were petty warm and the shearling felt oh so nice. The souls seemed like they would be ok to walk around in but they role inward which didn't feel good at all on my feet.

Excellent looking shoe but... Nice looking and feels great but... heel area is so wide had to buy inserts and feel like they're cross trainers instead of walkers.

Ugly but great for walking - The brown version of this shoe is truly homely, but it provides great support and comfort for walking on concrete and other poor surfaces. The expanded toe box looks awful, but provides the room most feet need when they're being stressed. A great commute shoe, but don't wear it in the office.

Nice shoe but... This is a nice shoe but it has a stiff heel that gave me blisters, I have purchased shoes that fit like a glove and do not hurt the feet when you first wear the shoes. I did purchase these as a walking shoe but until I break these in this will not happen.

Excellent - These shoes are very comfortable. And have excellent support. I wore a pair out in the heel, since September of 2007. The Dr said it was cause by the way my hips move when I walk. But they were so comfortable that I had to buy another pair. I walk a lot at work and use them when I exercise. The square toe help the width to fit perfect.

Helpful - I bought these shoes for my mother who has problems with balance. She complained that they were a little heavy, but other than that she liked them and they help stabilize her.

Happy Feet - This shoe may not be too stylish but it does deliver the comfort and support of a walking shoe. There is plenty of toe room and space for winter weight socks. They also stay warm and give good tread stability in our winter ice and snow.

A Shoe that Fits! While it's not a real feminine looking shoe, it is roomy in the toe area and the EE width is great. There is plenty of room for my orthotics as well. Finding any shoe to fit orthotics is a challenge.

Not the prettiest shoe - This shoe is clunky-looking, which isn't good for a female to wear. The toe box is too wide, no style. But the shoes are comfortable and good for the bone spur on the bottom of my heel, so they work for me. I suppose they'd be good for hiking too. I'll stick with my other New Balance shoes that look good, as well as being good for my foot.

I have always liked NB, but I thought this shoe was just....ok. It's not a great looking shoe, nor as comfortable as other New Balance shoes I have had in the past. They will fit my needs for now.

Could be a lot worse - I bought these to be casual shoes for my very pronated, narrow-heeled feet. These were the best-looking ones I could find for my podiatric needs - but I sure wish New Balance would come up with some more stylish lace-ups to supplement their great athletic shoes.

Looking for a wide forefoot/narrow heel shoe - I'm 9 weeks into working a job stocking clothing on racks and have been searching for a shoe that fits my odd shaped foot. In fact, I’ve spent lots at this point on various shoes! I have a wide forefoot and narrow slender heel and it's been difficult to find something that will work. I've had to put a heel cup into the shoe under the factory insole to raise my heel up into the shoe to avoid the rubbing I was getting in the heel/ankle area. I am celebrating today that I have finally come home from work not crying from feet pain.

I wish NB would make a black leather walking shoe that isn't so boxy looking.

With numbness in my legs and feet and arthritis in back and feet I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes for all day wear. These fit the bill even though they don't have the extra padding I find in other NB shoes. Can depend on NB from Zappos for hard to find 10 1/2 narrow!
