A Shoe Fit - As Cinderella's wicked step-sister, I have a difficult time finding a comfortable shoe (wide feet, high arch). New Balance has come through again - I can go to the ball again -even if they are little casual with my ball gown they are at least a good fit and comfortable. Thanks Zappos and New Balance for providing a shoe for the rest of us.

I wanted another pair of New Balance but in black, and these fit the bill. I had a knee replacement and need good shoes -- NB are the ones. I like these because of the wide toe area -- no squished toes in these shoes!! Nice! No need to break them in either.

Love my NB walking shoes - The very first time I wore these shoes was to a large museum where I was on my feet all day long. They never required one minute of breaking in. They were comfortable from the time I put them on til I took them off! I love Zappos service, return policy, shipping made easy and shoes that fit!

So comfortable - Lots of toe room and arch support as well. I wear them all day long!

Love them! I had been searching for an everyday shoe and this one is perfect. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and I can wear them all day with no problems. I love New Balance...this is the third pair I've purchased and the only brand I've found that don't ever hurt my feet. I was also amazed and very impressed with Zappos! I ordered these shoes around 6pm on a Thursday and had them less than 24 hours later! Zappos did a free shipping upgrade and so I expected them to arrive a day or two earlier. But less than 24 hours? Impressive!

New Balance WW901 - A little clunky looking, but what it lacks in appearance, it more than makes up for in comfort. Although my teenage daughter thinks they are "cool looking," so what do I know? But they feel great and that's the #1 priority.

THESE SHOES ARE MADE FOR WALKING - Could never find a shoe that allowed me to walk without having some pain during or before ending my walk...UNTIL NOW...lightweight and good cushion...I used to trail my husband and now he can't keep up with me...no more excuses for not walking with this shoe...I am 70 yrs and recently lost 60lbs and want to keep it off. Walking has helped. Thanks to this shoe...

Very pleased - This is a very comfortable shoe. I'm very happy with them. The color is a much lighter brown than pictured.

Great Fit - This shoe was comfortable from the moment I put it on. I have Morton's Neuroma and have difficulty finding comfortable shoes. They look a little clunky, but the SL2 last if perfect for my foot. I plan to order additional pairs in other colors. I walk 3-5 miles per day and these shoes required no break-in period. Very comfortable.

Great shoe - I find NB to be one of the best shoes for my feet. Years ago did not want to pay the price of them, but I found out it was worth the price for the way that my feet feel. Also, dealing with Zappos is a pleasure…

Comfortable! If you want comfort...this is the shoe. I mainly bought this shoe because the insoles come out, so I could put in the custom innersoles my Dr. had made for me. I had a fracture in both feet, so I needed help. And this shoe fit the bill. I can wear them all day, they feel great.

Free from knee pain!!! I have a position at a school as an IA, which requires me to be on my feet for a good portion of the day. I am bothered with Arthritic knees and was looking for shoes that would give me some support while walking as well as look good. I found both with New Balance's WW901. I can continue with my work with less pain. I will be ordering from Zappos again as it is very hard to find wide width shoes that I need. Thank you, JL

A comfortable shoe for people with square feet - A fully rounded flat, no arch shoe for people with flat feet is very hard to find. These people, including myself, like to say that they have "square feet." New Balance last SL-2 is perfect for me and that's what #901 has. Unfortunately, most New Balance shoes are athletic types, and colors are limited. As to the look, it's not the greatest, but it certainly isn't too bad. It is a good walking shoe and is fine looking with slacks or jeans. No matter how attractive a shoe is, if it is painful on your feet it won't get better, only worse. And when that happens, you've got big trouble. BB Long Island, NY.

Clunky, but oh so comfortable! When you wear a sz. 12 w, it is difficult to find shoes to fit well in all areas of your foot. On top of that, I have swelling throughout the day due to heart problems. This shoe is IT! This is the first time in my life I have kept my shoes on when I got home and often not even realized it. They are that comfortable! With my wide foot, they are not a fashion plate, but I am not at all worried about that aspect. I cannot recommend this highly enough!!!

Super shoe! I purchased one pair in the stone color, to wear while traveling in Germany. Couldn't be more pleased! Very comfortable, well-fitting, and better looking than plain ol' tennis or athletic shoes. (Didn't wish to look like a slouchy American tourist!) This shoe fit the bill, and I may buy a second pair for everyday wear at home.

Great Shoe! This shoe felt great right out of the box - no break in needed. It has a lot of room in the toe area and my orthotics fit inside it beautifully. Plan to order in brown ASAP.

Great shoes - I stand on my feet all day at work, these are very comfortable and true to fit. Wide enough it doesn't cramp my toes. I'd buy them again.

New Balance WW901 - They don't feel like New Balance athletic shoes, but I can get my orthotics in them and they are very comfortable for casual wear with slacks or jeans when I want something a little nicer looking than tennis shoes.

Great Shoe/Great Service - Shoe has excellent fit, feel and looks. Been a New Balance fan for years and this shoe is one of the best they have come out with. Throw in the free overnight shipping.....what a great experience.

New Balance WW901 - These are awesome shoes! I am normally very difficult to fit and have been recently diagnosed with arthritis in toes on my left foot. I purchased my normal size, 7W, and the fit is perfect and my toes are not screaming. I'm going to Las Vegas in a few weeks and these are the only shoes I'm taking!

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and walked in. I walk at least 4 miles every day and it's like walking on clouds; especially since I am 62 years old and beginning to experience pains here and there. I have a spur on the bottom of my foot and this shoe helps alleviate the discomfort when I walk. I will buy it again and again.

So so comfortable and wonderful supportive shoe - Very very happy with style and comfort of shoe and the support the shoe offers. I thought brown would be brown but it was more of a burgundy. Do not like the color but most important is comfort and support and nice style. Telephone support and next day air.....awesome.

Very comfortable - These shoes are very comfortable to wear. I particularly liked the low tongue. Sometimes with New Balance, the tongue is too long and cuts into the ankle. But these shoes do not do that.
