This is a narrow footbed and it fit my foot well as I have a very narrow foot and many sandals do not fit. The top strap was a bit too loose for me and it could not be adjusted. I felt I had to "grip" the sandal with my toes to hold it on, so I had to return it. It is beautiful sandal and was sorry it did not work out.

Happy feet make a happy person! These are the most expensive sandals I have ever bought and they are worth every penny! I started with dressy basic black several years ago. This year I added dressy white for a wedding (not mine, unfortunately)! Today I may add everyday summer white because on Memorial Day weekend I lost one in the jetty rocks at Barnegat Light! If you find a Left "Island" sandal, it's mine!

Size 40 is not US10. 41 would be closer. However, the shoe is a little too narrow for my foot.

White Crinkle Patent: If you find a shoe that works for you get it in more than one color. I looked all over the Zappos site for a simple white leather sandal that was supportive. I found myself right back at the Mephistos. I have these in 3 other colors but nothing comes close. So here I am with a 4th pair! I find that they do need a small amount of break-in time (around the house to let the warmth of your feet relax the leather and cork). But then you will find yourself matching your clothes to your shoes rather than the other way around. I did put off buying the white ones for a long time. However, the simple lines of this sandal and comfort level compensate for the price (I just stick with neutral color choices). They will go with any casual outfit (skirts, capris, slacks, shorts, sundress). The sizing is true although if you have a wider foot the footbed may be too narrow to allow for your foot to sit within the edge. And nothing beats Zappos service!

Traveled through India for a few weeks in these shoes and they were amazing! I am usually an 8.5 but these were perfection.

These are very comfortable sandals that I can wear every day. I have very bad feet and they are the best thing that I have found to wear in the summer. I wear Dansko clogs in the winter but have not found Dansko sandals to be as comfortable as this. The size issue is similar to the Dansko size issue. I wear a 9.5 in typical shoes and a 40 in this shoe and Dansko. My only criticism is that because they are a flip flop, your foot action is not very healthy and can aggravate plantar issues.

Great sandals! Fit is a bit tricky, though if you have a wide foot (like me!). I would recommend ordering a size larger than you normally would.

This is the third pair of Agacias that I have had in the past three summers. I wear them so much that each summer I need fresh Agacias. They are extremely comfortable sandals. I am at the age now that I look for comfort in my sandals and the Mephistos don't fail. The color on these sandals match just about anything. I have sandals that look like they would match khaki or brown but are really more of a plum pewter. This color is just so perfect that I am constantly reaching for them - they go with khaki, brown, blue, you name it. The color is platinum pearl calfskin. The size has always been very accurate but when I ordered this pair I felt that they seemed a tiny bit smaller. I have been wearing them and now they feel perfect. Maybe I was used to my older, stretched out ones. These sandals are easy to wear for long days on your feet. I very highly recommend them for comfort and good looks. I also have the Abigail with the little flower and they are the same style and I love them. I am not a fan of the Helen. I have had in them in the past and I have a pair now that I never wear. They are okay for comfort but I feel a little clunky in them.

A great shoe that felt almost perfect out of the box (break in time suggested). I am returning it because my regular width toes/narrow arch and heel feet slid. Loved the Boa print!

Super super comfortable. The footbed is unbelievably soft, the thong doesn't rub, and the leather wraps the foot just enough to hold on without being too tight. The style is more elegant than I imagined. However, it's basically a very nice flip-flop sandal and is more than I want to spend for that. Going with a waterproof flip-flop for the beach and a more formal sandal with heel for night time or work.

I love these! They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet, and the pewter is a nice neutral color that goes with everything without being too blah. I initially went back and forth with myself over whether I should pay that much for a pair of sandals, but they're worth every cent. I'm also not very hard on my shoes, so I expect to have them for a long time. And as an added bonus, I received my sandals the day after I ordered them, thanks to a surprise and much appreciated upgrade in shipping -- Zappos, you totally rock!

Beautiful, feminine thong sandal. I normally wear a size 40 in European sizes but they were at least a quarter inch short. Worth every penny. I went up one size in an even exchange. Love the color and quality leather. These don't disappoint.

I love these shoes! I paid more than I usually pay for shoes, but they are so comfortable, feels like I am walking on air!

I avoid "comfort" shoes (vanity!). However, I needed a slip on I could wear when my feet are too overworked by my dressier slip-ons. These Agacias are perfect. The dull gold strap blends into the beige base as well as my skin tone, so it is an overall low profile (visually) when they're on my feet. These are heavenly to walk in.

This is a beautiful sandal in the pearl. They are long enough and wide enough. However, they don't stay on my feet good when walking. I think a size up would have been to big.

Mephisto is top of the line...made for comfort and fits true to size. You will never tire from being on your feet wearing this shoe. I would rate it as high as possible.

Cost less at Nordstrom - I went online to see if I could find this very comfortable shoe for less than what Nordstrom was charging and they seem to cost more on the web. Be careful before you buy them on the web. Shop around!
