Great feel, great look, great shoe! I have been having a great deal of pain in my left foot since I broke it last year. That has made it difficult to find any shoe comfortable for any length of time, including my old favorite Mephisto sandals, Violette and Elka. This sandal is just what I need - very much lighter, with a more flexible sole, extremely comfortable padding in the footbed, and enough support to make it my shoe of choice. My feet do not have to work so hard to walk; in fact it almost seems effortless! With this sandal, there is no stretching out, so they continue to fit even after weeks of constant wear. I would love to purchase more, but they seem to have vanished in my size...

Great shoes - This shoe is all I expected in a Mephisto sandal. It is very comfortable and looks great with skirts. It can be a little dressier or very casual. If you like Mephisto sandals, you will not be disappointed with this shoe. The only drawback is the price, which is what is keeping me from buying it in black as well.

Nice looking shoe on, but truly a size smaller than indicated. Also felt like it ran a bit narrow as well. Very comfortable sole. Wish they'd worked out.

Comfortable and cute, but not as supportive as the Helen. The shoe does not appear to mold to my foot as well as others.

Great but they run small compared to other Mephistos so I need a bigger size.

I love these shoes although I am a size 9 and felt they were too short so I ordered the 10 and feel they are a little long.

Cute, but these don't offer the same (if any) arch support as my other Mephistos, like the Helens that I use as house shoes (and a pair for gardening). I can't wear them if I have a lot of walking to do since I sort of flip-flops around in them. I have medium width, size 9.5 feet.

The booklet in the box says the shoe should extend 7-8mm past your toes. This results in a fairly wide shoe. The thong rubs. Surprisingly, they were more cute than comfortable.

Jury still out - I tried this shoe on in a store and loved it while walking around in the store. However for long-term wear I'm not finding it to be so comfortable. I'm used to wearing shoes like this as I live in San Diego but for some reason my feet feel a little achy and for price of this shoe it's a little disappointing. Maybe it just takes time so it's not like I wouldn't recommend it, but for me I'm not truly satisfied.

Beautiful but far from perfect... Although I did purchase the right size in this shoe, I am disappointed that the leather seems to have stretched too much. I tried them on in several stores and found them to be very comfortable as they were for the first week or so I owned them. Shortly thereafter, the calfskin leather seemed to stretch too much and although they are still fairly comfortable, they often feel like they are going to slide right off my foot. If I got a size smaller, they'd be too short so I'm stuck with them.

I find most walking shoes very doughty but these are very smart looking and are very comfortable on the feet. I love the construction of the shoe; you can wear them with pants, shorts and skirts and they look great! The sizing for me was a little off because they do not come in half sizes. Jumping to the next whole size gave a little more room than I needed, which I thought would be uncomfortable, but they seem to work. I am quite happy with the shoe and would recommend them to anyone looking for a well-constructed, comfortable orthotic shoe. They are a little pricey but well worth every penny!

Comfortable sandal - This sandal is comfortable and easy to walk with. It tends to run narrow, for those whose foot is a bit wider than average. Cushion and leather thong are soft and subtle.

Like it - Love the color. The sandals fit my foot kind of funky as my toes don't reach the front, so there's quite a bit of white showing. My toes must be on the short side! I kept the sandals though as I was looking for a comfortable flat sandal that works for everyday and is an upgrade from a flip-flop. This pair definitely is.

More comfortable than flip flops - I bought these as an alternative to flip flips. They are a great sandal for running errands and look a little nicer than flip flops if you want to wear them out. They are definitely more comfortable and supportive than flip flops. I usually wear a 10 but needed an 11.

Almost perfect - Love how these look, they're true to size, comfortable....but maybe it's something about my feet that they slide off when I walk up stairs. Never had that happen before in any sandal.

I almost really liked this shoe, however - I am on my feet all day and the sole of this shoe seemed thin underneath the ball of my foot. There just wasn't enough padding. Other than that it was very comfortable. Had it been a less expensive shoe I would have kept it just to wear when I wasn't going to be on my feet all day.

I have narrow feet and had tried these on in a store before getting them from Zappos. I do have to say they do not really run narrow (as they seemed) and I now have to pad them. Also, the strap between. the toes is uncomfortable and I have padded that. I am usually not a fan making a shoe fit. That being said I have kept them as the sole is so comfortable and I have found no other flip flop to wear for prolonged periods of time. I cannot wear Tevo, Merrell or Keen!

This is my very first Zappos review! Have been a long time fan of this company because their service is fantastic and I was excited to try this Mephisto shoe. It seemed like it was going to be perfect but unfortunately it was far from it. I'm very used to thong sandals, but the placement of the thong portion of this sandal is quite odd. It doesn't go back towards the toe far enough (at least for my feet) so they just weren't comfortable to walk in at all. Felt like they kept slipping. It was a shame because the footbed and overall craftsmanship of the shoe are amazing. So these were returned and I tried the Adua by Mephisto which has worked out perfectly. Thanks Zappos for the amazing service!

I like this shoe, but it does take some time to wear in. It felt tight, but I read the other reviews and decided to keep the pair I ordered. The more I wear it, the more it stretches and I think ultimately I will love this shoe- it just takes time.

When I first purchased these, they were perfect. I have a narrow foot and these actually felt great. However, I wore them off and on for 3 days to break them in for vacation and they either stretched out or the foot bed sank because by the end of the third day, I could hardly keep them on my feet. For the price, these should have kept their fit or at least kept the stretch to a bare minimum. I am returning them. Too bad. They are really cute for being a comfort sandal.
