I\'ve worn Mephisto\'s "Helen" for years. I liked the look of this new, sleeker style. Looks aren\'t everything though; I also want comfort, and these are not comfy. They are soft and comparatively lightweight. However, the distance from the toe thong to the strap across the top isn\'t quite right for my foot. What\'s worse is that my big toe hit the curved outer edge of the footbed with each stride and that really hurt. With no arch support these could be just any sandal. I sadly decided that the "Agacia" looks simply weren\'t worth the money and I had to return them.

These were my second and final attempt with Mephisto. As with the last pair I ordered a larger size. They felt fine walking around the house and I was so excited. However, when I went for a walk in them the shoe kept pushing my foot back due to high instep/arch and ended up rubbing my heels raw because I couldn't get my feet to stay forward in the shoe. The footbed was much more comfortable than the Helen, but I will not be trying this brand again.

These shoes are beautiful and do not look like your typical comfort shoes. The color can be worn with everything giving them the potential for the perfect summer travel shoes. I gave them periodic test walks around my carpeted home and they felt great so I packed them. Unfortunately, they caused a very bad blister on my insole after continued walking. I have not worn them since. I am returning them to Mephisto because I wore them and feel this company should stand behind all of their products. This shoe's comfort is similar to a discount brand shoe but with a Mephisto price.

These sandals are very narrow. I ordered a size 40 and 41. Both were too narrow and not very comfortable. I had to return both sizes. That was very disappointing because the style and color is great. If you have narrow feet these will fit nicely.

These shoes stretched out so much after wearing just once and now they are too hard to keep on my feet. Since I wore them, I can't return them and am disappointed that I spent this much on a pair of shoes I can't wear! I love Zappos...but not these shoes!

Not sure what is going on with this shoe. I ordered an 8 usually wear 7.5, but my foot would not even go into the shoe. I have a normal size foot, no high arches!
