Great - I put off getting a pair of these forever, but finally caved when they went on sale. It took me a few days to get used to walking in these, (I've never worn a slanted heel before), but once I got used to them, I was hooked. They look great with skirts and with jeans. Even my fiancé - who usually despises cowboy boots - loves how they look. Plus, they have an almost square toe box, so when worn under jeans, they don't scream "cowboy boots," meaning that I'll be able to keep wearing them after the cowboy boot trend is completely played out.

Awesome boots! I could not decide between the boots or the mules, so I ordered them both. The mules were so heavy, maybe even more so than the boots. The boots were better in my opinion. They are extremely comfortable, I love the color and you can't beat the quality. If you love boots like me, you need to have these. They are not for anyone with a wide foot, however. Unless you really like a mule style shoe, I say buy the boots. I am very happy with this purchase and zappos makes it easy to shop and make decisions. I love you guys!

Gorgeous, Sexy, Practical, Rugged... You name it! I am in love with these boots. I saw them out in Bloomingdales, but then found a much better price on Zappos. To take it a step further, Zappos even price-matched a lower price I found on a different site - wow. I'm impressed. As for the actual boots, I think they speak for themselves. They are so perfect! One QUESTION I have for others reading this and who own the boot: does the front of the shoe have a little more "give" after time? I'm normally a 9 and 1/2, but in the store I tried on 8 1/2 (with normal-thickness socks) and they were a little snug. But the size 9's I ordered from Zappos felt a LITTLE too big. So should I switch to the 8 and 1/2 and break them in, or will the front not stretch/expand? Advice appreciated! And... THANK YOU ZAPPOS. :)

I love these boots! I hesitated buying these b/c I tried them on once before and found the heel to be a bit loose. BUT, as long as you're wearing the proper socks the boot is fantastic! It molds to your foot and is extremely comfortable. I would recommend ordering a half-size down from your normal shoe size!

Worth every penny! I love these boots! And so does everyone else, apparently, since I get so many compliments on them. They are extremely comfortable & look GREAT with jeans & some skirts. I only hope I don't wear them out anytime soon because I wear them almost every day!! The only thing I don't like about them is how hard it is to get them off...

I *heart* Frye’s! This is my first pair of Frye boots, and I love them! I have heard great things about them, and this style did not disappoint. While a little stiff at first, the leather is softening very quickly, and they look even better the more I wear them (which is quite a lot). I usually wear a size 8, but ordered a 7 1/2 because they tend to run big, and that was the right decision. My job requires me to be on my feet all day, and although they are heavy, they have great arch support, and are over all very comfortable. I also live in the Midwest, and they definitely keep my feet warm as I stomp through the ice and snow. Overall, this is a great boot, totally worth what you pay for them. I expect my Frye’s and I will have a very happy life together.

I want to love these boots- they are so cute! I must say that I have had a pickle of a time breaking them in. They are stiff, and as other reviewers have said, they are VERY hard to put on and take off (like the first 20 times!). A hint is to wear knee-highs the first few times as they are slippery and helps to ease the transition! Enjoy!

Rugged...yet stylish - The Frye boot lived up to all of my expectations. It is comfortable, pleasing to the eye, and makes you feel bad a** when you need to the most.

The Cadillac of Boots - These boots are really great. This was my first pair of Frye boots and I was really impressed enough to buy the Campus which were great as well. I didnt order the half size down. You dont pay for quality boots that are going to give you blisters and pain in return. I enjoyed them from the first day I put them on. I love the cushioned inside as well as the Rubber over Leather Sole. You dont sound like a horse clickety clacking around like with other leather boots. Just smooth and cool! This is the best color because they look better with wear: scratches and scrapes just add to the character. The boots do LIGHTEN with wear. I guess that is why the call them TAN. They dont stay as dark as when you get them but that just makes them just perfect to wear with many color outfits. The Leather is thick and hard at first but that lets you know youll have them around for a while. They do loosen up but stay FIRM which is what you want for a serious boot like this. Frye is the best made boot of its kind. Did I mention amazingly quick delivery?

Great boots - Very comfy and true to size. I wouldn't recommend ordering down. Run a bit narrow and I have a regular foot but broke in nicely. Great construction and quality. Zappos can't be beat for service and price. Thanks!

Out of the box, I really love these boots. They're a little tough to get on because of the harness, but that loosens up after a while. I ordered a half size smaller than my usual and it was perfect. (I tried them on at a local store to make sure.) I never thought I'd be wearing and actually liking cowboy boots, but I feel like quite a hot little number while strutting around in these. My boyfriend agrees! The tan ones pictured on Zappos are about the same shade as in person. Thank you Zappos! I love these boots!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these boots. Well, it was love at first feel. As soon as I slipped my foot down into these boots, I knew they would be part of my daily existence. At first they are a little stiff but don't worry they form to your feet within days. Yes, they are a little heavy but that’s one of their charms.

Love these boots - I wear them everyday now. They just get more and more comfortable and I always get compliments from people. Everything they are cracked up to be - which is rare! I tried these on in a store and they looked worse for wear in the store than the clean and fresh pair that I received from Zappos. A good first order experience! --did order 1/2 size down; fits perfectly.

Best Boots Around - I highly recommend these boots. I have always had problematic feet, so I mean it when I say that as far as comfort and support, they are unbeatable (they compete only with Dansko clogs): I don't even want to take them off when I get home at night. I love the look of them with pants - and get lots of compliments - and the heel is just the right height to wear with pants of different lengths. You should be aware that because they are pull-on boots, they are not fitted around the ankle and calf, meaning that they do not create a slim silhouette, should you plan to wear them with skirts. There's a reason these boots are a classic!

Frye Harness 12R W - I got my Frye Harness boots about two years ago and I must say they just get better and better w/time and wear. I have them in tan and the distressed leather is perfect for this type of boot. These boots are real compliment catchers. I love wearing mine w/ my skinny jeans tucked in. They also look really cute w/ feminine shirt dresses and leggings...it adds a nice element to your outfits. As for comfort, they are really comfortable. I live in these boots during the winter. I can walk for long distances w/out hurting my feet. However, they are heavy...but you will get used to it. The weight of the boot was awkward for me at first, but after wearing it for a week or two, you'll become used to it to where you don't feel it anymore. I bought my boots in a 7, which I normally wear. I have tons of room, so I wear it w/ thick socks. I could have gotten away w/ a 6.5, I think...but I would have to wear thinner socks. I would say that it would be best to wear this type of boot w/ a thicker sock for comfort friction-wise. Keep in mind that the leather is a stiff leather. However, I do think it is basically true to size depending on what socks you wear. These boots are extremely high quality and they will last you forever if you just take good care of them. It is well worth the investment. These are one of those boots that you look at online or in pics and think that they're okay looking or kind of cute...but when you actually wear them and integrate them into your wardrobe, you'll think they're the cutest things ever. Trust me; you'll get tons of compliments.

Love these boots - I debated about spending this much money on these boots, but I fell in love with them when I saw them in person at the mall. Zappos matched the price from another website so do shop around and then call Zappos. I highly recommend not going a size down or these boots will not fit. I gave comfort 4 stars, being that I only wore them once so far and the toe area seemed snug, but I think with a few wears, they will be fine. These are definitely nice looking and good quality boots. I am glad I spent the money. These will be a favorite of mine for a long time.

Comfortable and Durable - I've only had these for a few weeks but they are very comfortable and seem like they will last a long time. They do seem to run big, but on the other hand if I got a smaller size I don't think I'd be able to get my foot in. I would suggest getting your normal size and planning to wear thick socks and/or an insole. The boots are a little lighter than the picture, I think.

Debated forever, but I have 'em now and LOVE this boot - I was worried it would be too "butch" but this boot is sexy and beautiful and I love them. I have worn them for a couple of days now and they are already really comfortable. Started out tight in the toe box, but that is loosening up. As comfy as new Dansko's, ultimately this will hold up better and look way nicer.

Frye's Harness 12R W - I am obsessed with these shoes. The only issue, which improves with wear, is getting them on and off - but it is not a huge problem and after the 5th wear it became much easier.

Dark Brown Crazy Horse 12R W - Zappos is sooo great! I just received my new boots in 2 days instead of the anticipated 4-5 days - GREAT! I ordered 1/2 size down from the norm, as recommended by the Frye website, & they fit perfectly! I received them at work & couldn't wait to put them on, so I walked around in them at work for awhile. They were so comfortable walking around the office in them that it made my other work shoes so uncomfortable when I put them back on. I can tell these are going to be a favorite! And, I love the distressed leather - they'll just get better with time. I did give comfort only 4 stars b/c they are a bit difficult to slide on and off, but once they're on, they're great!

Love these boots! The ever fabulous Zappos price matched these boots for me from another website. They fit like a glove and the color is beautiful. The heel is the perfect height. I can't wait to wear them this fall and winter with jeans and skirts.

Can't go wrong with this one! It's a handsome, classic boot. I have wide feet with high arches and ordered a half size down, and these pretty much fit out of the box, though my right instep is a bit wider than my left and the boot is snug (not uncomfortable though). After break-in, I expect years of wear out of these. And they DO look great!

Solid Purchase! I had been contemplating this purchase for awhile and I am glad I went ahead and purchased the boots. They look great for one thing, PLUS they are comfortable!! The boot is a little snug (I have a wide foot) when I slip the boots on (at the point where your ankle will be in the boot), but once they are completely on, they fit great!!
