Frye me up, Frye me down - I have wanted a pair of Frye boots forever. Some time ago I tried the Cavalry with bad results (basically, the Cavalry is the Harness without the harness; I've since reconsidered my style and feel the harness is part of the hotness). The bad result is because I listened to everyone's advice to order *down*. This time, one reviewer mentioned that if you have wide feet, order your true size. Thank goodness for that reviewer! I normally take a 7.5 (wide toe ridge, narrow heel) so I gave it a go. Perfecto. I did put a Dr. Scholl's gel heel in for some added comfort and my right pinky gets a little jaded if I wear them all day (but I do that rarely since I see these as kind of my dress up and "look cool" boots). Got them in tan and I will agree, they are more of a dark brown (again, that's what I wanted, so thank you Zappos reviewers). These boots are cool as heck with jeans and a cardy, and I am a jeans and vintage cardy girl. These boots appeal to my vinty sensibilities beautifully. Plus, let's face it, I adore being a little taller once in awhile. I treated them with a high quality leather protector because I want these to last. Aside: some pets will go ga ga over the new leather smell. Hide your investment from pets! In sum: Wide toe ridge, order regular size or even one up and you'll have an elongated look, but comfy and importantly HEALTHY toe distribution. I can't speak to narrow. Oh and to my sisters having trouble prying their Frye's, relax, point your toes a bit and twist. Picture sitting in a Yogic position and pulling foot toward you, or standing so. Easy as Frye, I mean pie. Enjoy. You will be complimented.

Great boots! I love, love, love these boots! These are my first pair of boots and I'm so glad I chose this pair! I vary between a size 6.5 and 7 and I bought these in a size 7. Although I could've ordered 6.5, these size 7s are perfect - it has enough room for my toes to move, but not too big either. I also slipped in an insole and it still fits wonderfully. They are SO comfortable! I walked all day in them for 2 days in a row and NO BLISTERS (even with thin socks on). I got plenty of compliments and they're great under or over jeans. BUY THESE NOW! You won't regret it!

Love these boots! These boots are super comfy & adorable with both jeans and flirty dresses. The only thing is, I had to order a 1/2 size larger than I usually do. I normally wear a 7, but my arches are high & I couldn't even get my left foot into the 7. The 7 1/2 went on smoothly and fits very well with a little thicker sock. These boots rock - Fryes are always worth the investment.

These boots are awesome! I've wanted them for a long time and was not disappointed. The fit was perfect and there wasn't a "break-in" period. These are great with jeans and I can't wait to wear them with a skirt. I have a high instep and had no problem putting them on. Zappos once again was great to deal with.

Love these boots! They are comfortable from the minute you put them on. They look good with everything and last a long time. Highly recommend them.

Great boots, easy order! I sat in bed one night and placed an order for size 10 and 11 because I wasn't sure how these would fit. I knew the return of the other would be easy with Zappos. I selected standard shipping because I wasn't in a hurry. Well the next morning I got an email saying they had upgraded my shipment to priority! I got my boots that day! I placed the order around 10pm and had them the next day by noon! What service! I kept the 10 and returned the 11. I am usually somewhere between a 10 & 11, but boots usually I need an 11. These boots are still a little big, but it makes them easy to get on and off. I wear thick socks and may have to put a heel insert in as they stretch out. Over all, great looking boots (everyone compliments them) and I just can't say enough good things about Zappos!

Coolest engineer boots ever! I've wanted a pair of engineer boots for over a year and never found the perfect pair. I went on Zappos - for the first time ever- and found these and two other pair. I ordered all three and kept these. The only bad thing, and its minor, is that it grabs your socks and pulls them down the more you walk around until they are bunched up some in the arch of your foot. I just use anklet running socks and it solves the problem. They just look so great w/ jeans or cords.

Love my Frye’s - I'm told the leather will stretch and mold to your feet. Still, I ordered a 7 1/2 and I am a consistent size 7. The 7 1/2 is just right--not too roomy and fine with socks. I have a feeling these boots will still be walkin' 20 years from now...

Oh my gosh - I am in LOVE! Waited WAY too long to buy these babies...ordered a half size down and they are PERFECT! Yes, there is slight heel slippage at first but after wearing these for a couple of hours I can already feel them breaking in. They are SO comfy (although a bit awkward at first)! I NEVER want to take them off!!! ORDER THEM...NOW! You won't regret it!!!

Love them! I cannot express how much I love these boots. I am a size 6 to 6 1/2 with a WIDE foot. I ordered these in a 6 1/2 hoping and praying that they would fit my wide foot. And surprisingly, they did! So....they probably run a little wide, since they fit me and they don't actually come in a wide size. I am overjoyed.....those of you with narrow feet might feel that they're a little loose though.

Outstanding service - Not only did I enjoy the boots, but the service was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention free shipping both ways. I’m only sorry I didn't discover Zappos sooner.

Luv my Fryes - The boots are as cool as I hoped they would be. I ordered my exact size (6) and am glad I did not go smaller as many reviews suggested. The heel slipped slightly at first, so I just wear thicker socks. Don't take as long as I did to order them! I don't want to wear any other shoes. Zappos service is excellent!

Fabulous fit & look - These boots are great! Usually, my size 11, sort of wide feet would look huge in a boot like this, but these look great without pinching my feet. I can wear them all day without getting sore feet. In fact, I started wearing them from the first day without getting blisters or having to break them in. Love these boots!

Frye Harness boot - I'm very happy with recently purchased Frye Harness boots. Usually wear 7 but went a half size down. They fit great that way. My foot is a little wide so they feel a bit snug, but I'm also still wearing them in. Look great with jeans. Made well, great look I see myself wearing them forever. I had admired these boots for years but I saw a pair on a friend. They caught my eye immediately, had to have them. Love them!!!

Frye Classics - Had to order half size smaller. Need to wear short sock in order to keep sock from slipping down off foot. These are great classic boots. Thick heel for stabilization, great leather, goes with everything. Pants, skirts, dresses.

The classic Frye boot! This is the classic! It looks great and is the perfect heel height for jeans when you want a casual look. It is a little wide in the heel as is expected with a slip on boot. These are made to last and are a little heavy as is typical with a "cowboy" style boot.

Frye Harness (Womens)- My daughter loves the boots but they need to be broken in gradually or blisters will ensue, as with any quality boot. Good job Frye.

Frye boots - Love these boots! As others have said, they seem to run a bit long. I'm an 8.5 and ordered both the 8.5 and the 8. Ended up with the 8, even though I wear them with my Smart Wool socks. The fit is great and they are so well made.

Awesome boot with lots of attitude! I am so glad I splurged on these boots! I love trading my little office heels for these babies on the weekends. They look great with jeans, and I'll be trying them with skirts, as well. They're very comfortable, especially after the initial break-in. This type of boot is supposed to fit loosely in the heel and tightly in the forefoot, so don't let that discourage you. I, like many, ended up with a half-size smaller than my normal size, and they fit perfectly. My feet over-pronate, and I find that these have great arch and ankle support.

I love these boots. Very comfortable after you wear them a couple of times, I receive a lot of compliments on them. I was also very impressed with my Zappos experience they are very customer friendly. :)

Unbelievably Nice Boots!! I have been wanting these boots for a long time, and when they came WOW! They are so beautiful and the quality is equally amazing. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect, my toes are not squished and my heel does not slip. They are a bit tight to get on because of the straps but it's really not a big deal. They are greater than I anticipated and I am always impressed with Zappos service. Why buy anywhere else?

These boots rock. As a full time Birkenstock wearer, I ordered a half size above my normal. They fit great, although different than what I am used to. I LOVE that I am 1 1/2" taller in them; I am loathing taking them off and be normal height again. I am totally cooler when I wear these boots...

Other shoes no longer exist for me - These are the best boots (or shoes) I have ever owned. They are so comfortable (took about 3 wearings to break in) and they look amazing with skirts or jeans. The leather is thick and actually smells like leather. Literally, I want to wear them everyday. Order a half size smaller. I didn't heed this advice and had to send "my" size back.

I love these shoes! I bought the Silt Leather and they are beautiful. I wear a size 8 in Ugg boots and ordered a 9 in these and they are perfect with and without the sheepskin liner. I love my Dansko clogs, too, but these will keep my feet warm in the New England winter! I wish Zappos had them in black leather, I'd buy another pair! :-)
