AMAZING! Wow! These shoes are my new favorite! They are worth the expensive price. I seriously recommend these boots over the other ones. They are great with jeans and skirts, and they are surprisingly comfy. =]

Love is spelled f-r-y-e. When I first got them I often broke into a sweat putting them on and taking them off. Now, after four months they are wonderful. I ordered a half size down and can only fit my foot in them with a single, regular pair of socks. They're great in warm and cold weather alike and the distressed brown is very versatile. They're worth every penny.

Frye Harness Boots - These boots look great with everything! You do need to get used to your heel slipping which is normal for a traditional cowboy boot, and the stitching from the boot pulls inside rubs on your leg which is a little uncomfortable and actually chaffed my leg. Other than that, the boots are very comfy and fashionable. I have received many compliments!

My New FAVORITE SHOES!! I can't believe I just spent so much on a pair of shoes- but let me tell you- they are worth it! I have always wanted a pair of these Frye boots, and finally decided to splurge on them. I wear a 7, and ordered a 7, and they fit me great! I think a 6.5 would squeeze the toes too much, so I am glad I didn't go a size down as many people recommended. The boots are very well made and seem like they will last me a long time- so I guess the investment is worth it! They are cute with jeans, but I think they go best with skirts and sundresses. They aren't too cowboy-ish, and have a great look and color. This color and style is sold out almost everywhere- but Zappos had my size in stock, and I got it on my doorstep the DAY AFTER I ORDERED THEM! (ZAPPOS IS THE BEST!!!) All in all- I highly recommend these boots!

Fabulous!! This is my second pair of Frye boots and I love them. They were perfect right of the box. I've received many compliments. I'll be looking for a pair of black ones soon. Even so, I find that these are perfect with my jeans and even a couple of my dresses. Definitely a perfect investment for my wardrobe! Also, they were correct that they run 1/2 size large. I wear a 10 and the 9-1/2 fit perfectly.

AWESOME!!! I have wanted these for years and I finally took the plunge! I'm glad that I went true to size. They fit like cowboy boots and you want slippage in the heel. Once broken in, the heel will sink in and fit to perfection. I am a true 91/2 and that's what I got. I am sooo glad that I didn't get a 9!!! These boots look, feel, and are amazing! I'm ordering another style of Fryes now and I'll let you know how they are!

Awesome boot! I love the look and have wanted a pair for ages. The heel is wide but the rest fits well. I know they run large, but they don't make size 5 so I had to order a 1/2 size up (5.5), even so, they still fit well with bulky socks.

Frye boots - I love my new boots - they are roomy and comfortable for the most part (they're no running shoe). I had to order a half size up from my regular shoe size to get my foot in the boot. Zappos had a free return label and my new boots were shipped immediately - completely hassle free! Thank you so much for my Christmas gift to myself.

They are supposed to slip in the heel! I own this boot. I also sell shoes. Frye's are supposed to slip in the heel. The soles are stiff, more than your foot. Once you break them in, they are supposed to flex with your foot. If they don't slip, they are too small!!

Great boot - Great looking boot in the great Frye tradition. The only negative I found is that because of a high arch and instep, at this point, I am struggling to slide my foot into the boot. Once in, the boots are very comfortable. Hope the leather will soften up as they are worn more. Too many positives outweigh the one negative. Looks great with a jean outfit, (nice casual) or just knocking around in a tee shirt. My Dad says his (1970's) are still in the attic, so they must wear like iron. Definitely recommend this boot.

Awesome boots - These boots are great! I normally wear a 10, but they were out, so I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I also read that they run a little big. I have no heel slippage so far. The color is fantastic and they're already comfortable, so I'm sure they'll be even better when they're broken in. I ordered them yesterday afternoon and they came today! Gotta love Zappos.

I have no idea why people say these run huge, small etc. I take an 8.5 and the 8.5 fit spot on. The distressed brown is great. Very comfortable right away. I get compliments all the time!

Frye boots that fit! I have been experiencing a problem finding shoes/boots that actually fit. A problem from importing I expect. The size is usually wrong and to find a good fit the shoe is much longer then it need be. The 8.5 size that I normally wear actually fit perfect. Love these boots!

Love these boots! I usually wear a 10, but, after reading some reviews decided to go with the 9.5 and I am glad I did. The heel fit perfectly. I did have some trouble the first several wearings with rubbing on my outside toes; I wrapped with band aids and rolled on. The shoes just seemed to mold to my foot and now, after a week, fit great.

Love them! Great boots! They are super comfy. My only complaint is that they scuff easily, but I’m sure that once you get the proper sprays that isn't really a problem. I’ve worn them almost everyday since they arrived!

Wear thick socks with these boots - I love the look of these Frye boots but they are a little more roomy than anticipated. They also require some breaking in which may take some time. I'm a very true 7.5 medium width, and these 7.5's are roomy. I considered sending them back for a 7 but thought those might be a bit tight and since they are boots, they are better with a thick sock anyway. Very sturdy, well made.

Love my Fryes! Yes!!! I finally found THE brown boots I was searching for...after multiple orders (thank goodness for free shipping!). I do recommend ordering a complete size down - I wear a 7 and ordered the 6.5 and the 6 and the 6 is the charmer! I got a small blister on my heel - after wearing them for 8 hours, but believe me, these boots are breaking in and ROCK!

Great boot! These are just great boots...much more comfortable than they look. They've gotten softer every time I've worn them. I wore them shopping the entire day last week and they felt awesome the whole day. The fit was definitely a half-size larger than marked. The color is really rich.

Great Boot - I have been wanting these boots for a few years now and I finally broke down to buy them. I just had foot surgery in April and I was not sure of what size to order and the reviews really helped with that. I was true to size. I am a 7 1/2 and that is what I ordered. I wore them the first day all day and they were so comfortable. I would highly recommend and they look good too.

Cool boots! These boots are too cool. I love them with jeans for a casual and hip look. They are perfectly distressed for that great vintage look. Very comfortable too! 5 star boots in every category...recommend them HIGHLY!

Love My Fryes - I have been waiting for these boots forever. I am currently breaking them in. I bought my normal size and they almost fit perfectly, just need to break them in a bit more.

Love them! I love these boots! Normally I wear a size 8, occasionally a 7.5. In this boot, I definitely needed a size 7. I am still breaking them in; they are getting more comfortable each time I wear them. I have a bunion on my right foot, which makes it wider, and lots of shoes hurt my feet, but not these boots. The width is fine.

Cowboy boot, made more with an urban style - I was very pleased when I opened the box, they are made very well, said made in the U.S.A. a nice change from being made in China. They look good with pants, skirts. The only thing I have to get used to is the height of the heel, I am so used to flats but it gives me a nice lift.

Frye Harness 12R W - Received my boots last week and I love them. The breaking in process is only a couple of days and they fit like a glove. So comfortable for all day wear. I've received so many compliments. I ordered a 1/2 size down and they are perfect. Thanks Zappos!!!

Sorry I waited so long to buy these boots - PLEASE READ THOUGH...I LOVE THESE BOOTS. I didn't love them taking them out of the box, but having tried them on with jeans, skirts, and dresses...I would wear them everyday if it weren’t for the fashion police (LOL). I wish I could buy them in the black too...I just might if I can get away with it. I know too just from having them on they are built to last. As far as wear goes...I'll have these boots forever. I ordered a half size smaller as suggested in the reviews. I struggled so hard to get them on. They felt way too small. I called to get an exchange to my normal size 8. When the 8's arrived, they went on somewhat easier...not much though. I walked around the carpeted areas. I noticed that I had quite a bit of heel slippage. I have never bought cowboy boots before. I sent an email and the customer service person suggested I try on one of each size at the same time. She suggested I don't buy them too big. They will stretch. HERE'S WHAT I WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU. This time with the 1/2 size smaller boot, I used another pair of socks. I don't even know what to call these socks in women's, it's what the men call dress socks.....not cotton or stocking. The 1/2 size smaller fit perfect! I almost kept the wrong size due to the sock I used to try it on. They are a tiny bit tight in the width, but I can tell that once they mold to my feet, they will fit great! The Customer Service Department is every bit as great as I read about. You won't be sorry buying from Zappos...and if you've had your eye on these boots...pull the trigger already...you're going to love them!
