Bottom line: I'd buy these again. I have flat wide feet, and the EE width fits great. Plenty of room to move my toes around, even with thick wool socks. The leather is super thick and looks durable. I live in a dry climate, so I can't comment on what they're like in the rain, but they do breathe well in warm weather. I'm knocking off one star because the padding at the top above the ankles is a bit chintzy. When you squeeze the foam, it feels very thin with no density, and the above-ankle padding is only on the outside of the boot and not the inside. It's like it's more for looking like there's padding, rather than having real padding. Not a deal breaker, and you'd probably have to spend an extra $50 for boots that have fancier ankle padding anyway.

Better grade if leather than the boondocks. Not as comfortable for me with the foot pad. You will have to change it out. I'm a very heavy guy and drive trucks I'm in and out of my cab all of the time. The shoes tie really good around the ankle for support.

Boot is good but a little heavy and stiff material. Leather is little hard and that makes hard for foot movement. Overall nice shoes for the price.

I love the boots ..they are light weight ,comfortable and pass all safety requirements from my employer. the pair that I got had a small problem ,an eyelet for the laces broke on the second day I wore them . zappos of course took care of the problem in record time and I am completely happy with my purchase. I am a plumber who works for a rail road corp, these boots are on my feet on railroad tracks and on construction sites from 8 to 16 hours a day.

A good fit and comfortable, the soles could be a little softer but overall this is a good work boot for being on concrete floors all day.

Boots arrived quickly but had to send back for a smaller size. A full smaller size. Very durable and well constructed. Took a while to break in and after a lot of walking the comp toe starts to rub pretty bad.

Shoes were narrow for a EE wide shoe, compared them with another brand that was a medium and they were the same. Had to return them.
I'd also recommend:

Very light weight for a safety toe boot. Could use a more cushion insert . This is my first time wearing Timberland boots and I like them but my Wolverines felt more comfortable. I do like the non slip soles and would buy these boots again in the future.

The shoe is great. It's just not waterproof. So u can't wear it during the winter as all your toes will freeze. Never knew about that until I experienced it.

I've had these boots for a while. Overall these are good boots. I wear them on an industrial site - indoors mostly, some outside. These would be Timberland's best boot if they were waterproof. So be warned - NOT WATERPROOF!!

The soles feel like I'm walking on plastic very hard. Soles have no grip slip n slide on concrete and worse on black top had to put another type of insole. The ones it came with made my heel hurt.

I've purchased four pairs of these boots over the years and I keep going back to them because they are so comfortable from day one. Other boots tend to rub my ankles raw. That said, there are some issues that I'll point out. If these could be changed, this boot would get more stars. Quality control for this model is bad. I've ordered online and gone into the store and the plastic heel under the insole isn't always aligned properly. You can't change it because it's glued in that way. Sometimes it would poke one side of my foot or the other, or sometimes it would just add all sorts of extra pressure against the plantar tendon. The pair that I ordered online I had to send back for an exchange, and several pairs that stepped into in the store I just left and let the manager know they should exchange themselves. I went back to the store to buy when they had a new pair in that was properly built. Maybe that's why do many people are complaining that their feet are hurting... I would never buy online. And as soon as you step in, it better feel right or you should wait. The second complaint that I have is that the eyelets are made of plastic. I can get the soles on these boots to last for several years, but the plastic eyelets bust apart in six months or less consistently. Even when I moved to an office job on the mine site, they still failed in less than six months. Timberland! I'll pay a little more if you can put metal eyelets in! Don't skimp on that! Third for thought. If you're in a lot of mud, don't smash your heel into the ground trying to get the mud off your boot. It's not good for your knees, and apparently it's not good for the boot. Use a boot brush or mud scraper. The heel of the sole of my first pair separated after the first winter because of the abuse. Overall, these are the boots I go to. Just need to be aware of the quirks.

Too much interior slack causing toes to rub against hard toes when applying traction. Big toe blister no fun. Aside from not being to wear these boots while working, they are great boots.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Heavy Boot, composite insert comes across mid-foot, causing discomfort for myself. Love Timberland products, just wouldn’t recommend this one.

I started buying these in 2012 and they were the most comfortable things I'd ever put on my feet. I bought pair after pair of these. Suddenly, starting in late 2019, new pairs did nothing but hurt my feet. I've tried going up as much as a size and a half and they're still squeezing/pinching. I can't wear these for more than 30 minutes, yet I can put on a "retired" pair and wear them all day. I don't know what Timberland changed, but these have gone from awesome to awful.

I thought I had ordered the Titian pros I've worn for years .Not as comfy as prior world boots ,my feet hurt after being on my feet all day long . I ordered Titian pros composite safety toe model # T B 050508 instead of model # 50506 which are composite toe but are lace To Toe which is what I thought I was getting, very disappointed!

Boot was comfortable, but I could not get them tight enough to keep my feet from slipping. Ordering a 1/2 size down, they were too tight and uncomfortable. Had to return.
