These boots feel like they were made by people who have never seen feet. Or maybe just saw a picture of one and was like "I can totally do that!". You can't. You really can't.
Pros? It's got some.
Probably the best slip resistant sole I've ever used. Somewhat lightweight for a 6" boot. Solid construction and they do seem like they will hold up for a lifetime. A lifetime of pain.
No... seriously, they will hurt your feet. The "insole" are practically nonexistent. No arch support. 0. None.
You've already got your $300 orthotics? Cool. Get ready to enjoy a load of ankle pain. Yeah! THIS is what YOU PAID for!
The tongue construction has a spot where the material is folded over and sewn. This little ball of satan's joy is nestled right under an eyelet which provides the pressure for it to dig into your ankle. As a torture device, it's a feature. As a work boot, it's hell.
I know what you are thinking. "Just loosen it up, dummy!". You can do that and it helps. If you want to eliminate that pain, you have to loosen it up enough that
A: There is no support on the ankle so you might as well have bought a work shoe.
B: It's falling off.
C: If you work in an dirty factory environment like I do, you will constantly have crap inside your boot.
Overall, the materials are great and it feels like a great boot that just missed the mark. Unfortunately, where it missed hurts like hell.

Well, I was a little disappointed by these boots. I have owned other Timberlands and been very impressed but these did not meet the same standard. When I put my feet in these boots the first time, I was disappointed by the lack of cushioning. The shoes appear to have inserts but not a lot of cushion. So the comfort level was disappointing from the start. Something n the upper on the left boot also rubbed my ankle the wrong way over the first week but then got better after breaking them in. On a positive note, it is a pretty good looking, simply style boot in black and can be worn with any pants including dress slacks. I will plan to keep them but will not repurchase. I liked by Wolverines composite toes much better from a comfort standpoint. I wish I had bought them again or tried the Rockports instead.

Owned a pair of timberland pro alloy toe for last 3 years, very comfortable boot. Wore those till the souls feel apart. Bought a pair of the composite toe this time and my foot feels like it's swimming, toe box is huge. Think I'm going to return them, for they are not near as comfortable as my first pair. Disappointed.

I love Timberland boots..BUT these wear out and the eyelets holding the laces are prone to fall out or come loose, causing some problems...doesn;t change the overall quality or fit...great boot for someone wearing boots for hours...

These are by far the most comfortable work boots I have ever worn. I work on concrete floors 10 hours a day. There is no break in time, comfort right out of the box. The first pair I bought lasted about a year till the soles cracked right where you bend your foot. The second pair the same thing. The third, didn't last 6 months till they did the same. I haven't purchased another pair of Timerland boots since. It's really too bad Timberland won't correct this problem. They're great boots, but I will not waste $$ on them anymore.

I had a different Timberland Pro for a couple years, which is why I bought this one. They have the wide sizes and all eyelets style which I like. The only thing I didn't like was that the top of the toe got scuffed and torn from normal non-work use. So, I bought one that cost more and and had a composite toe. It didn't help. Within 1 week I have a small torn spot on the top of the toe. Otherwise, they are great.

I train dogs 7 days a week, loved them BUT, and again, the soles don't hold up! Granted Timberland honors their warrantee, but who wants to have to ship them back all of the time? They need to bring the manufacturing back to the US!

These are on the pricey side, but the leather looks and feels very cheap. Both feet slide toward the outside of the show and hang over a bit. when I wear them. They are also a bit wider than expected but not a deal breaker.

Fit and size were good. The only real complaint, and it appears to have been a long time issue that Timberland refuses to address, the eyelets start falling apart after a month and more and more break. Timberland change the eyelets!!!

First of all, I have owned other Timberland PRO models of boots over my 20+ year industrial maintenance career. All prior models performed admirably and were comfortable, much like these TiTANs in this review. However, unlike the previous models these current boots are starting to show signs of failure after only a few months of, what I consider to be, light use. I work a 4 day work week with no exposure to grease or oil, only movement around the facility and dust. Where these are failing are at the shoelace grommets. 2 of the 4 top lacing hole grommets have failed, 1 in each boot. Because these are metal detector safe (which is what I wanted) the grommet material is plastic and evidently cannot handle just being laced up every day. Other than that issue, these boot are comfortable and perform well. I don't know how long the leather will last without a grommet to protect it, time will tell.

comfortable out of the box, however once the temps got cold the soles harden up and sound like high heels down a hallway. the hard soles then become slippery on ice or packed snow.
