This is my second and last pair of Timberlands. I stand on my feet for 8+ hours a day, so I can say that they are very comfortable, but unfortunately that's where it ends. These boots do not breath well at all, my feet sweat a lot in them. At 3 1/2 months old, all the eyelets are falling out and the heel is starting to separate. My first pair made it 1 year before requiring replacement for the same reasons. Prior to purchasing Timberland, I had a pair of Red Wings which lasted 4 1/2 years before I had to replace them.

For whatever reason Timberland decided to get rid of metal eyelets and go with plastic ones. They started breaking within a couple of months. Once that started the leather and laces started wearing out and breaking. That saved them what, a penny per boot? I've been buying these for years but no more.

I love how the boots feel but the eyelets have popped out in both of my boots within three months of wear. Buyer beware, super comfortable boots with defects.

I have bought a pair of these boots every year for at least the last 5 years. Originally I loved them. They are very comfortable and fit well right out of the box with little or no break in required. I didn't have any issues with the boots lasting the year until the company boot truck came back around. I didn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and co-workers when asked my opinion of them. However, over the last few years the quality of the boots has been going downhill. The lace eyelets are cheap plastic and start breaking within a few months. My most recent pair (which are less than a year old) have already lost most of the upper eyelets, and the ankle/heel padding has begun to rip away from the boot. They just seem to break down and fall apart quicker every year. I am required to wear a safety boot for my job, but I spend most of my time in an office. My boots are not typically subjected to harsh conditions, so for them to fall apart in less than a year seems unreasonable. Unless Timberland improves the quality, it's probably time to try a different brand.

Comfy, waterproof boot until I stepped in a puddle and my foot got all wet. Only lasted 11 months. Not quite up to my standards as an industrial electrician. I expected better from Timberland for what I paid. I guess I'm going to find a different brand of boot for work.

I liked this boot from the moment I put it on. Very comfortable. Many coworkers wear this boot as well but a number of us have noticed after about 3 to 4 months of daily work wear the soles crack at the bending point. I have owned 3 pairs of these boots and they all ended up doing the same thing, cracking thru the sole. I have also had Timberland boots that have lasted over 15 years of casual wear. This work boot needs a review of the quality control and durability - very poor.

Started out as a good boot, but after about 6 months they were becoming uncomfortable and worn out. Should have lasted longer than that. My last pair of Timberlands lasted much longer. My job is extremely hard on boots as I climb ladders for a living, but other boots have held much better and much longer than these.

I wear boots all the time. Even take my steel toe hiking. These boots never seemed to fit right, and started hurting my feet after a month to the point where I can't wear them anymore. Do not recommend.

I am not sure what it is but these boots seem to cause my legs to lose circulation in my lower legs which causes major swelling in my ankles and feet. I need to return these for the true timberlands with the zipper on the side. These I have are for flat foot people or something.

The boots feel fine, however I ordered a different boot. These are STEEL TOE, non water proof and a month late.

The fit was good but the left boot keeps rubbing my heel. I’ve tried wearing them 2-4 days a week for 3 months and it’s killing my heel. The material is really hard and abrasive in the heel for some reason it’s even wearing holes in my socks now.
I'd also recommend:
None because my other timberland boots are amazing.

The new comp toe Titans are very narrow, and they feel like cheap plastic instead of soft leather.

Extremely disappointed. Began to deteriorate soon after purchase. Customer service was distinctly unhelpful, still has not responded to make this right. Do not buy these boots, as the quality is poor. Do not buy from Timberland, as they will not fix their mistakes.

These are very hard on your feet. half way through my shift I'm in pain. i tried insoles also and they wear quickly. I would go with another boot because these have no support. FYI this review is after working a week in them. i work 8hrs with a 30 min lunch thats the only time i get to get off my feet.

I bought this same boot over 2 years ago and they felt great the first time I put them on. They wore well and held up nicely. When I put the new boots on they did not feel comfortable, and I could feel the safety toe on the top of my right foot when I walked. My foot hurt when I walked.

I work 12 hr. shifts on concrete in a factory and these are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever had. I have had them for 4 months and the sole is already trying to separate. My only wish is that I would have wore them the first month I owned them so I could have returned them.

I usually buy a new pair of alloy toe titan boots every year. I decided to buy the composite to save a little weight. the boot is just as comfortable as the alloys the problem is I have worn these at work for about 2 weeks and one of the plastic eyelets has already broken. I wouldn't recommend this model hopefully this isn't a sign of lowering qc standards.
