I love these shoes! My second pair, the first pair are 7 or 8 years old and I still wear them but they are looking a bit tattered. I use these when I travel as they are easy to pack, light weight and I can walk for miles in them in comfort. I have narrow feet and these feel like gloves on my feet.

I adore this shoe and was thrilled to find it offered in my size, but sadly the company has now discontinued offering size 12. I quickly stocked up on this and another Gentle Souls style I loved. It's so disappointing to find a brand that offers cute, not matronly, well-made everyday shoes in a size 12 and then discover the brand changes their sizing. It's happened to several good shoe brands in the past 3 years and it's unfortunate that a considerable number of consumers are ignored.

I am happy with these shoes-- but I do advise you wear some type of shoe liner. These are flats, so a thick orthopedic insole may be too tight. I like the leather, it is pliable and soft, and the strap is wide, so does not pinch. I suggest you try them for a day or so before wearing them for long trips.

I am very happy with this shoe -- which is saying a lot since I consider them to be rather pricey. I don't buy cheap shoes, but I think this is probably the most I've ever spent on a pair so my expectations and requirements were quite high. I am pleased to report, though, that they did not disappoint, that I am very happy with them, and that I would definitely buy them again! I have bunions, flat feet, and narrow heels and these shoes manage not only to hide those "features," they actually look flattering on me and they are super comfortable to wear! Plus, they are well-made shoes, pleasing to both the eye and touch. I wear them to work, mostly with long and short skirts (because that is what I typically wear), but I think they would look great with anything you might normally want to wear with a good-looking pair of simple black ballet flats. By the way, to help me decide on whether I would keep these shoes or one of the other pairs of black flats I was considering, I gave my husband a "shoe fashion show" and he picked these out of the group immediately. (I didn't give him prices!) I was glad he picked them because they were the ones I liked the best, too, and it helped me justify choosing them. I'm very glad to own these wonderful shoes! No regrets!

This is my second pair of Gentle Souls Gabby shoes. I have thin heels and the cross over strap allows me to wear these ballet style shoes without a problem. I love them for the summer with dresses and leggings. They are soft and comfortable.

These looked good on and were comfortable, but felt the soles were too thin for me - returned.

My feet always hurt when I'm wearing shoes. Shoes are never comfortable until I've not only broken them in, but worn them out. Not so with these great shoes from Gentle Souls. The lining made them comfortable from day one and the gentle elastic strap across the instep is wonderful to keep them from falling off my skinny feet. I love these shoes so much that I bought a second pair right away for when the first pair wears out. If your feet are narrow, you might want to order a half size smaller than usual. The leather will stretch a bit if needed.

Gentle Souls shoes have a soft but supportive insoles, and have enough between the foot and the ground to cushion my step somewhat. What makes them repeat purchases for me are the soft soft leather uppers with a comfortable elastic strap that holds them in place as they mold to my foot. Would like more colors like navy and burgundy, charcoal, and some fancier straps to bring variety to my shoe wardrobe.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! Love, them. I hate closed toe shoes but these feel like wearing slippers!

I just walked the City of Chicago on a long weekend with my husband in these flats. They are the best flats I have ever owned! Love them!

Fantastic! Great in every way. I walk 1.5 miles to work every day and these shoes are incredibly comfortable. Better when it was Lisa Nading, but Kenneth Cole still makes a great shoe. Great arch, the flax memory pillows are comfortable and you can not feel each grain as I was assuming. Great comfortable basic flat. Great dressed up too.

Great, but dumb color! Love it... the color is just so not me (gold!). Bummer... feels like a slipper and really wanted to keep!

These are not the shoes they used to be. The leather for the shoe is no longer the soft buttery supple leather it used to be. The bottoms don't look like the picture here either. Instead of leather bottoms, they are some kind of syntheic black material. So disappointed about the quality. I loved these shoes the first and second time I bought them.

Cute flats. At first the padding in sole/bottom of shoe felt odd, as another review mentioned. However, after a while it adjusted to my foot. They are comfortable all day except for one thing: the elastic causes my feet to be puffy by day's end. I have high arches, so this may not be a problem for others.

I love the shoes! It is very comfortable and easy to wear. It is not bad looking either. The leather is smooth and soft. I hate the shoes with stiff hard leather and this is not at all. The only thing I would like is to put a little bit more padding on the arches, but I am happy with these.

I'm no longer upset that the Campers didn't fit! These are the cutest and most comfortable flats ever! Now I need more colors!

Super cute, great leather, and great support. I bought these for dancing, and they allow my toes to spread out so my foot can move like it's designed to. I added a metatarsal pad for extra support, but the built in arch support is pretty good already.

This is the second pair for me. They double up as a pretty house shoe yet have support if I am in the kitchen for long periods. Nice width that accommodates my bunion. They are useful for travel as they pack easily and look dressy for evening wear.

I have purchased 7 pairs of these shoes so far. I noticed that pair in my last purchase was a little tighter. I am about to purchase a pair in a bigger size so that I can wear it with socks (I wear size eights my without socks or with nylon trouser socks). I wear these shoes to teach in, and wear my older pairs casually. I have most black pairs, but I wear my pewter pair occasionally--they are out of style now. I only wish that Gentle Souls made these in: Navy, Red, Brown and Ivory. I would buy two pairs of each!

My 94 year old mother, my 30 year old daughter, and me (no age given) all love this shoe. Very comfortable and versatile!

Love these shoes. This is my third pair. I hope they never stop making them . These are so comfortable and have no break in time.

I wore sandals all summer so the need to wear closed toe shoes was difficult. I needed something soft and pliable. These shoes fit the bill! I love them and wear them with both slacks and dresses. They are so soft that I worry about them becoming mis-shapen quickly, but I'll take that chance for comfort.

These are singularly the best shoes ever made. Mine are worn out and I even lent them to my daughter, who ended up getting her own pair, because her work kept her on her feet all day (teaching). Now I come to buy my replacement. Love that they are in silver, so I am planning on buying both colors -- and no size 11!? What happened? Zappos is usually a one-stop shop for my large, narrow size! I need to see my therapist now!

These fit my "bad"; feet very well. My bunions necessitate the need for a wide toe box while my heels are a normal width. They were still slightly tight across the strap, but I stuffed them for a few weeks to stretch them out. This helped a little, and I believe they will stretch a little more when I wear them a few times. These shoes would be too wide for a normal size foot however. The built-in arch support feels funny now but is something that one should get used to. I have high hopes these will be my go-to shoes when on vacation.
