I like the look so went to try some on. They are not as comfortable as the sandals and I don not like the lowere heel. If it were raised I would have bought them.

Naots are hit or miss with me. I bought this pair with the recommendation I size down. I wish I hadn't listened. My feet were very unhappy. I do have a pair of Naots that are so comfortable. The sizing is too unreliable. You just have to buy your regular size and hope that it fits. No problems when you buy from Zappos. Naots are very pricey too.

Product arrived defective. Strap on right shoe was for a larger size. I don\'t like velcro anyway because it does not feel strong enough to last.

Pair arrived defective. The strap on the right shoe was for a bigger size. It\'s a shame that they don\'t do half sizes because this \'9\' felt like an 8 1\/2 to me. \r\nOtherwise it is a comfortable shoe.

These shoes are the cutest shoes ever. However they did not work out for me. I wear a size 40 in my Naot sandals. But as note in description I ordered a size smaller. The shoes were to tight in the toe area and the arch supports did not line up with my foot, thus they are being returned. I'm so sad about this, I really needed a pair of shoes that I could stand in all day at work.

Not a bad shoe overall, but for the price, I do have some concerns. I have worn them to work as well as for travel. There is a nice cushion insert to the bottom of the shoe that creates a fairly good support to the foot. I have not tried my orthonics inside them, but the bottom of the shoe lifts out to allow for this, which is a nice feature. The main issue for the Matai is that for this price I would not expect the odd pressure points and soreness in my arch that I experience after wearing them all day. I have worn Naot's Kayla for years, and find it to be a "miracle shoe," and I was hoping the Matai could be my winter "miracle shoe." Not so, due to the soreness I mentioned above. I wear either a 10 or 11 depending on the shoe. After reading other reviews, I went smaller and ordered a 10 for this pair, and it was the right choice. If in doubt, go smaller with this particular shoe. I recommend ordering them overall, but be careful if you have very sensitive feet.

Cute and quirky looking, but not enough support - I own several pairs of Naots and usually love them, but this pair unfortunately doesn't have enough support for my weak ankle. They are very lightweight and flexible, and close to the ground. They seem like they would break down very quickly and stretch out. I like my other Naots that have a more substantial footbed and sole. This shoe fits more like a slipper, and doesn't hold the foot up very well. Not enough arch support.

Not quite right - I love the funky styling and color of these shoes (I got orange). Problem is the 10 was a tad short on my left foot only. The next size is too big, but I figured I would go with too big versus too small. However, they are quickly becoming sloppy. I wish Naot made a solid 10.5 Many companies do and I own 10.5's for when they shoe is too short and its' perfect. I can also wear 10's in many brands, as well. It all depends on the shape of the toe section. So, these are now creating blisters on my heels because the leather is a bit stiff there, plus they are bulging out on the sides. Good shoe. I will continue to wear it but it won't suffice for walking 2 miles to campus without having sore feet. Which is too bad, because that's why I bought them. So far, the only shoes that I have that are great for that are a pair of Think!'s I bought last year.

It really has no arch support, which I need.

Not for narrow heels - Sizing of this shoe is problematic. For me it wasn't the length, but the width in the heel that nixed it. Another reviewer mentioned their heel sliding a lot. I think because the style is designed so that it's basically a slip-on, if your heel is not M width, probably this style won't work for you. I'm a pretty straight-forward 7.5 and the 37 is definitely too short, but the 38 is too wide in the heel. Also, the arch support for me is a tad too far forward... I kept wanting to scoot my foot forward in the shoe. Too bad... it's a cute, lightweight shoe & other Naot sandals I have are very comfy.

Look too long - These were very comfortable, but looked really long on my foot. As a size 10, I don't like to emphasize how long my feet are!

Not the best as far as comfort goes. My foot is wide in front and very narrow in back; in order to have this shoe fit, I bought a size smaller than usual, which, while it fit in the heel and was wide enough in front, is a bit short--which only became apparent after walking for a while. Also, the padding is not as good as in other Naots. On the other hand, my daughter has the same shoe and loves it.

Either too wide or the leather is too soft - The first day the fit of the shoe is perfect, the foot pad is very comfortable, but the leather needs a bit more "body". The shoes get too wide and the strap is so long that the shoe looks odd if I pull to tight the shoe, not bad, but I would think it twice to buy another pair.

The leather material buckled out on each foot on inside, did not mold to foot, which is why I am returning. If not for that, I would have kept them.

Not for narrow feet. Tightening the strap creates a bulge in the side of the shoe.

These shoes are well made and attractive, but I should have paid more attention to the reviews from customers. Although the shoe gave me the width in the toebox that I need, these shoes are designed for people with far more volume to their feet than I have. They had too much of a gap over the front of my foot. Back they go.

The quality of this shoes is terrible. I have worn NAOT shoes forever and never had such a badly made pair of shoes arrive. I thought I was ordering Naot Sea but instead I received Naot Matai .... and I now see that the SEA is not available in a 42 so I would like to simply return the shoes.

I have worn Naot shoes for years. They were beautifully made and held up very well and were very comfortable. I thought I had ordered the Naot "Sea" but instead received a different style. The quality of the workmanship on the shoes is terrible and they have no support structure at all and while they have always been expensive ... the quality of the workmanship in this pair for shoes for $199.00 is terrible.

The toe box was too tight and the ankle was too big.

Both shoes had flaws in the leather on the toe box area. In addition, they felt too small.

Loved these darling shoes but sadly don’t work with my new orthotics. The top of my toes are crowded and rub on the inside top of the shoes. Now I have to go through another search to find a style that will work and Not look like ‘orthopedic shoes!:-(

I ordered because of reviews mentioning a wide tie box, but it is not comfortable...grabs in my bubuon abd pinky tie. Back to Aravon’s Mary Janes I guess. Pretty shoe...:-(
