Very disappointed. I love Naot shoes and the strap on these shoes is not long enough to Velcro closed. It seems like the company is trying to skimp on materials and make the strap shorter.

Really like these shoes but am returning them because they are two different colors. More silver on one shoe and more gray on the other. Will be ordering them again in hopes the next time they are the same color.

I wore these shoes for two days and thought I had finally found a shoe that was comfortable enough for standing on my feet all day in a classroom. I was wrong! I actually wanted to cry on Day 3; I have tried to wear them again, but my feet are in constant pain. One of my co-workers said that the shoes looked comfortable; I said that looks are deceiving. I love to shop at Zappos, but I'm so disappointed in these Naots. I spent way too much for shoe that I cannot wear.

I thought the shoes would great for me, as I have to stand most of the day. The footbed was comfortable and supportive, but there was a seam on the side right at the joint of my big toe that really caused a problem. When I removed my shoes at the end of the first day, that joint was so swollen and red, and there was a bruise at the site of the seam that did not go away for almost a week. Not a blister, mind you; I would likely have felt it rubbing a blister. It was a deep bruise. I never realized how the shoes were injuring my foot. I'd like to return them, but I wore them an entire day.

I was really disappointed with these! First the fit: Although this shoe was listed as being roomy and running large, it was really small and tight on me! Secondly, I bought the silver/black combo because it was so pretty - I loved the bright silver contrasted against the black suede. I was very unhappy when I opened the box and found that the 'silver' is silver that was overpainted with a sheer layer of black, with only little glints of silver where the finish was rubbed. Not at all what I was expecting!

I don't understand the hype AT ALL. I ordered these in white and grecian gold leather thinking that if these had 5 stars and 730 reviews, they MUST be amazing. I ordered them in my usual size (8). I was excited to get them in the mail, but when I opened the box, I thought, "whoa, these are ugly." They look like middle earth elf shoes. I tried the gold ones one, and they felt way too big with no socks on, and rubbed in the back in a way I knew I'd get blisters. Then my husband walked in and said "whoa, those are ugly." So they were good for a laugh, but not much more. (I also tried them with socks out of curiosity, but the style doesn't really allow for socks, and they still felt too big.)

These shoes (Naot Matai) split from their soles after just three weeks! Note: I primarily wear them in my carpeted classroom in my job as preschool teacher, so I don't feel they went through a lot of wear and tear. They're really cute with the arty swirl, but at this price, I expected much better quality than this. Of course, since they're worn, I can't return them. Come on...just three weeks before the sole is separating...on both shoes? I'm so disappointed, because I love the style and fit of these shoes. Unfortunately, I can't rationalize buying Naots again, even though I want to.

I am very puzzled by all the positive reviews of these shoes and by the company's warning that they run large. I bought them in my usual size (40) and one size smaller (39). I could not get my foot into the very shallow tie box of the 49. I didn't even try the 39. Very disappointed and will return both pair. I'm just not sure if other models of their shoes have better toe boxes or if I should give up on the brand altogether for my feet. I will say they look nice and the leather is very soft.

These started out amazing -- excellent support, etc. Within 6 weeks or so, however, they had lost all support, and I feel like I am standing on bare feet. I spend 60-70 hours a week on my feet, and really need arch support; by the end of the day my feet ache so bad from no support. I would toss these in the back of the closet; however, they were so darn expensive and I am so darn stubborn that I'm going to end up wearing them until they fall apart. No more Naots for me.

I own at least five pairs of NAOT sandals. Love them. I have very bad Plantar Fasciitis and despaired of wearing sandals again. NAOT (and THINK!--another great brand) to the rescue. But these shoes are HORRIBLE. All my NAOT sandals were comfy right out of the box (or with a little blister block). I've worn these three times and they: rub off my nail polish on my big toe, leave ginormous blisters on bottom of big toe and on heels, hurt across the instep, and they make this annoying squealing sound on certain types of hard floors. All in all, one of the worst shoes I've ever bought. I'd hold a ritual burning if it weren't against zoning rules. I also wish Zappos would take shoes back after they've been worn.
