I need a higher heel otherwise love this shoe

It is a nice looking shoe, however, it you have a high arch, it is no for you. I also thought that the toe box was too flat. I am certain it is perfect for someone .

These are beautiful shoes! I have narrow feet, so they do run a little wide for me, but I will be wearing socks with them so they should work fine. Haven't had a chance to wear them yet because it's still summer weather where I live.

Love these shoes... I have bought Naot Matai shoes for over 10 years. Recently, it seems that the quality and craftsmanship is not as great as it used to be; I hope that the manufacturers implement better quality control. The leather finish was poor in one of the shoes. Sadly, I had to return the shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable and provide excellent and soft support. I normally wear an 8.5 US or 39 UK and needed a 40 UK. The shoes have a narrow toe-bed (which are perfect for my narrow foot) compared to a wide Keen toe-bed. Cute and comfortable right out of the box.

The comfort of these shoes was phenomenal. I need supportive shoes as my foot heals from surgery, and these were perfect. I followed the advice of going up a size. Unfortunately, the left shoe had a different finish than the right shoe, thus looked as if the shoes had "switched partners". For the price, they had to go back. I will try again.

The Naot Matai has been my go-to shoe for a long time. It's one of the few shoes I can wear to a foot/ankle problem I've had for many years. This latest pair I ordered still looks the same and is very supportive, but it's longer and slightly more narrow than other Matai's I have ordered in the past. Did the sizing change? If so, I am disappointed because the fit is not so good for me.

Was expecting great comfort from these shoes from all the positive reviews but they didn't work for me. The toe box felt narrower than it should be and the edge of the strap rubbed. (I am an undramatic 10B.) I do like the soles, but not as impressed overall with this pricey brand as I thought I would be, though quality seems high. Thank goodness for Zappo's return policy!

These shoes looked pretty online but when I got them they seemed very heav, clunky and orthopedic looking. It could be Also, the strap has to be placed exactly right or the tan leather on the reverse is visible and looks tacky.

I own this style in two other colors, bought several years ago, size 41. Ordered this in 41 - way too short, pinched my toes. Re-ordered in 42 - it is huge. What is with this? Other than size issues, a good shoe.

Beautiful shoe, but too narrow. I normally wear a medium, but a wide would have worked better. I must return this. I hope a wide is available.

I always wear 8.5 so I ordered the size 39. But in this style was too big.

I love the colors, but I don't really like the strap. I'm returning because the top was too tight across my instep.

Beautiful shoes, but too small. I wear an 11.5 M, but thought I might manage to wear these since the reviews mentioned they run large, but no dice. I did get them on my foot, but the foot bed is made of cork and the arch support felt all wrong on my foot No way, Jose - they had to go back.

Rather dorky looking and runs too wide for my narrow foot but feels quite supportive through the arch. VERY PRICEY. Had to return.

I ordered this with the expectation that it would be as soft and flexible as a pair that I got about 2 years ago - this version is heavier and stiffer than I wanted.

Great shoe, the Naot Matai, I have a few pairs of this style and other Naots, this seems to be the most comfortable for me. I got this one in the Sterling Grey color, sending it back as it is a bit too metallic looking for me (I have another Matai in the silvery black-grey color, so this one is not quite as metallic, it's just not grey enough for my purposes). Otherwise a great shoe.

Though the shoe looks narrow and bulges a little with my fatter feet, they are super comfy and still look good...so there may be some magic involved; I don't know. I am super happy with these shoes. I work in retail and am on my feet a lot, and I'm overweight, so I need excellent support, and so far, these shoes have delivered!

This is a very comfortable shoe. It does not fit true to size and I have found that you need to order a size up from the original size that you typically wear. Each shoe is very different and the leather, suede etc. is not always as nice as expected especially at this particular price. Zappos customer service is amazing, as they are very cordial and polite and are willing to work with the customer to re-order or exchange a shoe.

I thought these shoes were really cute, but they were really snug. I didn't even get the 2nd shoe tried on.

I followed the manufacturers advice and ordered down a size. Big mistake. These shoes DO NOT run small. Zappos quickly exchanged for my normal size. Unfortunately the right was a tad too short so sadly they must go back. But the shoes are cute and stylish and have good arch support so I would recommend.

The Naot Matai has a wider that average toebox which accomodates the developing bunion on my left foot. The arch support is sufficient to keep me mostly pain free for several hours of wear. The back provides sufficient height to accomodate an orthotic insole. I am often between a 40 and 41 and got this one in a 40 (9). Zappos makes it easy to order two sizes and return what doesn't work. I will definitely try other Naot styles. Great quality and not as unattractive as many. Pricey shoes, but worth it for comfort.

I have a few of these shoes/this style & others, these fit my feet best, though the last couple of size 38's seem a bit tight - that may be because my older Naots have stretched a bit. Needless to say, they are great for my bunion-ed and arthritic feet, regardless. I just have to wear the newer pairs with a nylon or thin sock, because the older ones are OK with a bit heavier sock. The latest pair is going back due to color: the "sterling leather/grey iguana" are shinier than I would like, and lighter than I thought they appeared on the internet. Since I already have the shiny black ones, no need for these; wish they came in a darker grey though.

I wanted a nice looking shoe for tour walking. This appeared to be what I wanted, but on my foot, the top comes up far enough that it is too snug and uncomfortable. Disappointment! Everything else about the shoe was good: a nice wide toe box, good arch support and excellent heel padding, as well as the fun design. Sadly, returning this one. The search continues!
