I really like these shoes. They look more classy in person and fit perfectly. I bought them for travel, will look good in nice restaurant. They have excellent support. I did not have to break them in. I would buy them again.

Shoes are perfect in every respect. I can walk in them all day in total comfort. But they not only feel good, they look good. However, they do run large, so order 1/2 size smaller. Also, the steel gray is more blue than gray, but quite good looking.

Love these shoes. Very lightweight, but well made. Got them in black and they are darling. I have heel pain and these feel very comfy on my feet. I did not find them to run larger than normal, I got my regular size. I also bought the Naot Sea and love them, too.

I have a hard to fit foot with a narrow heel and wide vamp. This style is one of the few shoes I have been able to wear out of the box. One evening around 9pm I realized I had not taken my shoes off all day and was in no hurry to change into slippers. They're that comfortable and cute, too.

I was looking for really comfy shoes for our upcoming trip to San Francisco since I knew we were going to be walking all over the city. I ordered the Matai shoes in the red color after reading all the reviews here. I have extra-wide feet and between a 7 1/2 and an 8 so I wasn't sure what size to order since they supposedly run large. I ordered the 7 and they were too tight on the front but strangely enough, they were extremely soft and comfortable (go figure!). I then made the decision to order the 8s and prayed to get them on time since my trip was 5 days away. Well, I got them in 2 days and they fit much more comfortably than the size 7 in width. They are a bit long though but at least I can wear socks with them which I was not able to do with the size 7. So, even though they are a little big, I wore these during my entire trip! They are so comfortable, its like wearing slippers. If you have extra-wide feet and between sizes, I recommend that you stick to your current size instead of going down a size. Also, I was able to get the two sizes within a week from my trip. Zappos rocks my world!

I bought these shoes specifically for a trip to Europe. They're very stylish (thus sparing me that "frumpy tourist" look in Paris) and very comfy, plus they have good arch support. Depending on how much walking was on the day's itinerary, I could wear them as is or with my orthotics. The various color combos offered in this style range from the totally practical to way-out and fabyooluss. All in all, a superbly versatile shoe that easily transitions from dress down to dress up. And don't you just love Zappos' free shipping?

This is my first pair Naot shoes, they are like putting on your bedroom slippers with arch supports. What is really great they have extra padding in the heal, the shoe will never rub your heals. They do not need breaking in like most new shoes the leather is so soft they do not rub on any part of the foot they mold to the foot within a couple of days. The reason I bought them is because I am going on an Alaskan Cruise in a couple of weeks. This will be my main pair of shoes I take. With the high price of checking in extra bags of luggage you need to scale down on what you can take. I am only taking a couple of pairs of shoes. One of these pair of shoes will be my new Matai Naot shoes. The other pair will be my mbt shoes. The only thing I do not like about the shoes is the design on the toe I would prefer the shoes to plain.

This is an exceedingly comfortable shoe - right out of the box, good for walking all day. I had an ankle fracture 18 months ago, and it is hard to find a cute shoe that gives me the support I need. This one fills the bill.

Super comfy and cute! Looking for some good walking shoes for travel and heard of this brand on the Rick Steves website. They can be dressed up or down and look great with capris, jeans, and casual skirts. I did order a full size smaller than I normally wear and they fit perfectly. They have great arch support, the leather is soft and comfy right out of the box, and the toe box is wide enough to swollen feet when I\'ve been walking all day. Love them!

I love these shoes. I followed the advice and ordered a full size smaller, although I was skeptical since I wear a 5 1/2 and was ordering the equivalent of a 4. They fit perfectly and I get lots of compliments. Most important to me, they are very comfortable and I wear them all over. They cost more than I usually pay, but are worth the money.

I have flown for a major airline for over 30 years. These shoes are the most comfortable I have ever worn & I get great comments every day from my passengers and crew. If you are on your feet for long hours or planning a trip to Europe these are the shoes for you!

These are the most expensive pair of comfort shoes that I have ever purchased, and that\'s saying alot since I am 50. BUT, worth every penny spent on these lovely shoes. Wear an 8.5 and ordered the 39-fits perfectly. Hardly worn any other shoe since pulling them out of the box and onto my feet. Sexiest pair of Mary Jane style shoes I\'ve ever seen and great arch support as I am archless ;0 - will buy this shoe in many colors in the future. Wearing the black and they dress up, dress down beautifully - highly recommend this wonderful shoe - enjoy!

I ordered a size smaller and they’re perfect. Wore them out of the box going on 3 days now. I’m on my feet all day at work, and now that summer’s here, it’s nice to have a closed-toe shoe that I can wear without socks. They’re very comfy and look a bit dressy. The arch support is great. This is my second pair of Naots – they’re pricey, but well worth the extra $$$.

I tried these shoes on in the store, but they didn't have my size. Thankfully from the in-person experience I was able to determine what size I needed, but had I not the recommendations here that I order one size down would have put me on the right path. The shoes are comfortable and feather light, and walking in them feels somewhere in between buckskin slippers and barefoot. While not meant for treks across uncharted terrain, these would be great for long walks on paved or level trails, and are fantastic for everyday wear.

I LOVE these shoes! They arrived on Tuesday and I took them with me to New York. I walked 5th Avenue and Central Park in these shoes and my feet felt wonderful! They DO run a bit large, so pay attention to previous reviews and fit notes. I ordered one size down from my normal size and they're PERFECT.

Foot surgery - now need closed toe shoes! Zappos sales person gave me a list of brands that I could consider. I ordered four pairs of Naot shoes and they are all super. The Matai is a wonderfully crafted shoe - great details. But I ordered it in the apricot! (I knew with Zappos I'd have no problems with returns - fearless shopping.) The color is great -- not a "screaming" orange and the red-type trim makes this shoe unique. I was surprised how well this shoe went with so many items in my wardrobe. The soft leather seems to mold to my foot - like wearing slippers. I teach high school - wore it the afternoon after I received them -- perfect. And I received many comments (positive!) from both students and my co-workers. Frankly, I am considering purchasing one of the other colors...

Love these shoes! Purchased 3 pair of varied Naots for a trip to Europe (we had the great idea to go 2 wks with just a carryon so my space for shoes was limited!) My feet freeze on airplanes and I needed one closed toe shoe for the plane and backup - these fit the bill wonderfully. The spacious toe area meant my bunions were happy, arch support was great for walking in; the strap on top allows variety of tightness. I have worn them a lot since and always get compliments. And after getting tendonitis in both Achilles, these are my one 'shoe' (not sandal) that I can wear without irritating them. Way to go Naot!!
