If if you need orthotics, this is a great and comfortable shoe. I have a darker color for winter and this is great for summer.

This is my third pair of Naots, the second of Matai. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have had trouble with many other shoes rubbing or with inadequate arch support or with inside stitching. Not with these! These glove leather shoes conform to your foot perfectly and become even more comfortable as time goes on--I don't even feel them on my feet anymore. My arches are supported well and the footbed conforms exactly to your foot as you continue to wear them. I took them on vacation with me, and when I got a large blister from a sandal I was able to put these on and continue site seeing with no pain. I'm going to order yet another pair for fall. The colors are beautiful. I usually wear a wide, but these were perfect.

I love these shoes so much that I've two pair, a black pr and this white pair. They are the first shoes I've ever worn that didn't need to be broken in. They run a full size small so make sure to order down a size. And I love Zappos, there is not enough good things to say about their customer service!

I ordered these shoes in a size smaller (I take a 38 and ordered the 37) and they fit perfectly. I ordered the black pearl and the color is different from how it looks online. But the shoes are very comfortable and they arrived in two days!

These shoes are fantastic. I have terrible feet, they are flat, a little wide, and continuously problematic. I have 3 pairs of orthotics I experiment with. I put these shoes on and wore them all day without socks! Yes I was not used to the hardness due to having worn sneakers for years, but I got used to it. They are the best shoes I have ever owned; I am 5'3.

I love, love these shoes. I didn't take time to break them in. I put them on and wore them all day and they are very comfy, they look great and feel wonderful. I ordered my usual size (8) and they fit perfectly. As usual, I am very pleased with shopping at Zappos there are hundreds of styles to choose from, next day delivery and on the rare occasion I need to exchange for size, it's a painless procedure. Zappos is the place to shop.

These are extremely comfortable shoes and I am glad that I decided to spend the money. I had never purchased Naot before, but decided to try after a co-worker indicated she was very happy with her purchase. I will definitely be looking at purchasing other Naot shoes.

In a word, these shoes are fantastic. I walked through Boston for five days, averaging 7-8 miles per day in these new shoes and they were excellent. I\'ve had Naots before (when I walked New York City for a week) and they were grand. I only wish I\'d gotten these in a smaller size for a better fit without socks. They are soft, have plenty of support, stylish, and, believe it or not, they can be dressed up as well as down. This is one of my favorite brands and well worth the cost.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I wore them for two days walking the streets of downtown Chicago the day after I got them. No breaking in needed.

I ordered 4 pairs of Naot shoes in the past few months. I'm a fan. All pairs are the same size, but the Matai runs the largest of the three styles. The Kirei runs more snug and works well in the summer me when I don't want to wear socks. The Samoa runs a little bigger so I wear a normal sock, and the Matai I save for the cooler weather and my thick DeFeet brand woolie boolie socks (also bought from Zappos-great wool socks). All three styles are equally delicious and comfortable, but the Matai does run a bit large.

This is the first pair of Naot\'s I\'ve purchased. They are made of soft, high quality leather, very comfortable and lightweight. They are also a bit pricey, but I have no regrets! As other reviewers have noted, they run large. I usually choose a size 40, but this size 39 fits me quite well. I like a shoe with a wide toe box, narrower heel, and moderate arch support. This shoe has it all. I get lots of compliments on these shoes.

I thought these shoes were a bit too pricey before I ordered them. But I have real issues with shoe comfort, so I gave them a try. And am I ever glad I did. Clearly they were Designed by someone who actually studied the human foot! As soon as I tried them on, they conformed to my feet and felt great. And they look really good, too. I wore them on a recent trip and they went with everything. I would not hesitate to purchase Naot footwear in the future. (Note: I heeded Zappo's sizing recommendation and they were correct.)

These shoes are amazingly comfortable, have a fun design and give incredible support! I ordered 2 different pairs of shoes by Naot (as well as other makers). I was trying to pick one pair of ultimate walking shoes. It was love at first fit. I've kept both pairs of Naot shoes.

I first saw these shoes on when on a tour of Israel, worn by a gal also in the group. They were so cute, I knew (being a shoe fanatic) I would have to track them down, once I got home. Zappos, of course, came through again. From the moment I tried them on I loved them. I have worn them all day, with no socks, with capris and they look great-get lots of compliments-even from strangers. These shoes are true to size, and the arch support is just right. They have a wider toe box and adjustable, velcro strap over the foot. Of course, what initially attracted me was the quirky cuteness of Naot, and the gold, bronze leather which is holding up wonderfully. I am planning to buy another pair in a different color.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them all the time and always get at least one compliment. I recently bought a second pair as a backup. I highly recommend these.

I ordered these for my mother in the white/silver. They are beautiful! My mother has knee and ankle problems and she said that these make her feet and ankle feel great, just like all the other Naots she has ordered. At this point I think she has six pairs! We are both huge fans of Naots and huge fans of Zappos customer service!

I have 7 pairs of Naots in different styles. I measure US size 9 in a C width. I order either 39 or 40 in Naots depending on the style. As stated by others, the Matai runs big so order down. I have two pair of Matais (copper and peacock, both beautiful and very durable) in size 39. I ordered a pair as a gift for a friend who wears US 8, in size 38 and they were too big for her so were exchanging them for 37.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. It is supportive and feels like a running shoe. I have problems with my knees and this shoe alleviates it. I get lots of compliments on it, which somewhat amazed me because it is a bit orthopedic looking to me. I will definitely buy more.

These shoes are great. Extra soft padding, good arch support...and so unique. The first couple of days I wore them I kept looking down because they were so fun! And I wanted to make sure I was still wearing shoes. Felt like a fine leather glove.

These are great shoes for anyone, but especially if you have bad feet like I do. I usually wear orthotics but don\'t need them with these shoes. A bit pricey maybe but well worth the money. It\'s hard to find a stylish shoe with such great support but these fit the bill.

I own this pair in peacock and have done extensive walking and travelling in them, so I wanted to buy a pair as a gift for mom. I was very happy to see that the Red Pepper color went on sale. Mom wears a size 8 usually and size 38/size 7 in this pair fit her well. It was love at first sight for her - she thinks the pair is ultra cute, not to mention ultra comfortable. The toe box, as usual, is very spacious. The red pepper color is almost like a burgundyish/brownish red, but very good looking. We both have slightly low arches, so the arch support in these are very nice for us.

Firstly, I ordered another pair that I found with you… Naot Matai… I have a very small foot, high arch, and a foot that is long from the ball of the foot to the arch. That has meant that I either need very expensive shoes or these wonderful ones that I walked in for 3 weeks in Paris after really not able to walk (sciatica) for a year. One must combine yoga, walking, and these shoes.

These are the best shoes I've ever had on my feet! Usually after work, I can't wait to put on my athletic shoes (with the heel inserts for comfort!), but I'm very happy to stay in these. They are so comfortable, with excellent arch support - I'm going to order another color.

I have 3 pairs of Naot shoes and love the arch support and cushioning. The fit is always the same.

This shoe was purchased for my sister-in-law as a gift. She has severe health problems and as a result has no feeling in her feet. These shoes were a perfect fit with no irritation. I also wear this shoe and have it in several colors. It is a wonderful shoe and I would recommend it to everyone.
