These shoes are comfortable and stylish. I always receive compliments when I wear them. I'm able to wear the shoes all day and my feet feel wonderful. I've bought 4 pairs of these shoes in different colors.

I have recently been suffering from plantar fasciitis and heel spur. These shoes were very comfortable to walk in.

Love these shows. Super comfortable, great arch support. I got them in two colors! They're practical without looking like grandma shoes.

I got this shoe as a bit of a mix-up, but I'm glad I did! The box says "Naot Footwear Tone" but I actually received Naot Footwear Matei, and I'm keeping it! I wear a 6M in dress shoes and find that a 36 fits me in Pikolino shoes, but I took the chance and ordered 37 because I want it for casual wear with socks. The fit was ideal. I have very high arches (cavus pes) plus a host of problems in my right foot--plantar fasciatis, neuromas, capsilitis, and lots of ball of foot pain. I was able to fit my custom orthotics in these shoes, but found the standard cork insole was quite comfortable.

These are my second pair. I love them! I will use Zappos in the future. Couldn't have been easier!

This is a beautiful shoe, elegant in style and handsome in a deep indigo metallic blue. It is so well made that as I am age 74 no doubt it will last longer than I shall.

Fabulous comfort and support right out of the box. I was looking for a comfy shoe to wear while traveling, something other than a tennis shoe and was thrilled to find these. A bit pricey but worth it.

I love the shoe but the inside right she is rough and uncomfortable at the seam, the left isn't so it must be damaged. I marked the spot with tape. Will reorder later.

These are the absolutely most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Took them out of the box and wore them for 14 days touring the South- looked so much better than athletic shoes!

I love these shoes! I don't find them particularly fashionable; however, they are so comfortable I do not care. There is a metallic gold stripe that goes around the shoe that I could do without. I have a partially torn ligament at the base of my toe. This makes many shoes painful for me to wear. Especially for any duration of time. My office is very casual and I have been wearing these shoes to work daily and happily. The inside reminds me of a less rigid Birkenstock. They provide support and, I believe, relieve some of the pressure off my mid foot through proper positioning of my foot. For me, I consider this purchase, money well spent. Please note the shoes are a tad on the wide side, as Naot has different widths for different lasts within their product lines. I believe this is considered a medium width. Excellent arch support for regular arches - I probably wouldn't rate arch support excellent for high arches.

Own 6 pair of these shoes (5 different colors, two pair same color.) They are treasures. The most comfortable and attractive I've ever owned. They run a smidgen large so they were ordered size 38 (I wear a 7.5) Whenever possible it's Naot (and Zappos) for me. With Naot's fit and Zappo's speed and service one can't lose.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes. I wore the first pair out after a good long stretch. My feet are horrid: flat, bony, wide, with bunions. (Sigh.) But these shoes are utterly comfortable for me, right out of the box.

These are, literally, the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried on. They were comfortable right away, no breaking in, or getting used to them required. They are well cushioned, have good arch support, easy on and off, good grip, and cute. Thanks.

These shoes are intensely comfortable. I bought the black to wear to my office. They work great with dress pants, tights/skirt, or even jeans on the weekend. They have a nice roomy toebox, but don't look like ugly orthopedic shoes. The support is perfect -- a nice amount of cushioning, and a great arch support. I usually have to wear an orthotic for my plantar fasciitis, but not with these shoes. They are worth every penny.

I have never had a shoe with as much arch support. I can walk in these shoes all day and I get so many compliments about the design and style. I would like a lighter color for summer.

This is my third pair of Naot "Matai." They are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day. I always get compliments whenever I wear them.

These are hands-down the best pair of shoes I have ever owned for arch support and all-day comfort. They fit perfectly and were comfortable right out of the box. And they're beautiful! I can't wear athletic shoes at work, but after wearing these, I no longer feel the need to buy tennis shoes. Not only was the arch support amazing, but I get compliments from total strangers when I wear them. I became a huge Naot fan after this purchase.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. While I like Dansko's for stiff support, these Naot's are a softer kind of support. This is my second pair of Matai shoes.

I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a pair of shoes, but I have a very bad back that gets tweaky when I wear shoes that aren't supportive. I am so glad I ordered these shoes! First of all, they are much cuter in person than they are on the internet. They are pretty feminine, and are the perfect black shoe to pair with trousers and skirts/tights for work. The support/cushioning is out of this world. I can wear these shoes to walk 1/2 mile to the bus, be on my feet all day at work, then still be comfy on my walk home at night. If your foot needs moderate to aggressive arch support and also some cushioning, these are the shoes for you. The design is great too. I was glad to see the rough side of the velcro strap wasn't on the part of the strap that would snag my tights. (You can't believe how many shoe companies do that.) I get tons of compliments on these shoes. Try them! You won't be disappointed!

I have 2 pairs of the Naot Tanguru shoes which are very similar. I thought this woulld fit my skinny feet like the Tanguru and it comes close. However, I cannot get the strap to close the shoe around my foot as well as with the Tanguru's laces.

After suffering with plantar fascitis for MONTHS--constantly doing stretches, icing my foot,and even bringing my dog to daycare to limit my walking, I bought these shoes out of pure desparation. I laughed when they came out of the box because they were so ugly. Remembering the Zappos reviews, I slipped them on. Love! Comfort! A foot hug! 48 hours later and I was walking pain free. My dog and I are happy walking companions again! I've donated all my other shoes to charity and have 3 other pairs of Naots coming via Zappos. Now I think these shoes are BEATIFUL (and, honestly, they look pretty cute with jeans).

A freind of mine has a pair of these in metallic and they looked so darn cute and comfortable I had to give these a try. I bought them in black. First and foremost, they feel light as a feather, fit perfectly! I ordered a 38, and I'm a 7.5 to 8 US, and usually wear 38 in EUR. I love that these shoes aren't clunky and builky and the design is just enough to give it style but not too busy. The straps look delicate and attach using velcro. I plan on wearing these MJ's with dresses, shorts, skirts and even gym pants. I have planars faciitis and I haven't decided if I have enough arch support for extended walks, so I may insert orthodics. My only gripe is that they are pricey. I haven't had them long, so only time will tell if I've made a good investment. So far, so good.

Awesome shoes! After foot surgery few shoes are truly comfortable on my feet. These are the exception. I own three pair already! Also, people often comment on their attractiveness. The leather does stretch a bit over time so don't order too large.
