I am absolutely thrilled with these shoes. I actually just recently purchased a 2nd pair of the Naot Matai shoes on Ebay! Score!! I bought my first pair of these shoes back in 2010 and wore them for years. My first pair are insanely comfortable and super broken in. More comfy than any other pair of shoes I've ever owned. My new pair have broken in so fast in the last few weeks, and I actually prefer to wear them with an Aetrex insole, rather than with the insole that comes with these shoes. Anyway, I cannot speak highly enough of these shoes. They have a really comfortable, wide toe box - so my toes can spread and never feel cramped. I will walk in these and wear these for years!!! Naot, please keep making shoes in size 43 / women's size 12 - it's so hard to find amazing shoes in my size!

I have wanted these shoes forever, but unfortunately they didn't work. I have a very high arch, and a wide foot. They were a little tight on the width, but I can deal with that. The part that I can't deal with is they cut across the top of one of my feet so tight that there was a bend in the leather on the front of the shoe just from the pressure, and it hurt of course. I don't usually have that issue with Mary Jane style shoes. So I am returning them.

Ahhhh. So incredibly comfortable right out of the box. True to size and the arch support is fabulous for me. Ordering in other leather colors.

Naot is my go to brand for comfort. Their insoles support my high arches, and in this shoe, they just hug my feet.

Great fit, but the style didn't look good on my feet so I returned them. Purchased Naot Toatoa and loved them....they are my keepers..wish I could get them in an additional color

I initially ordered these a size down for my elderly mom who has bunions. They were a bit narrow in the toe box and I worried about them rubbing her bunions. I decided (after trying another 12 pairs) to go up one half size. That did the trick. They seem to fit her well and she picked them as the most comfortable from the group. I tried them also and they seem really well made and comfortable. Since she is in a nursing home, they also will be easier to put on.

This is my third pair, I have the black suede and my first pair a metallic brown. All are very comfortable and the style seems to fit many situations. These are really my favorite for all occasions.

Ordered these for my 97 year old mom. Actually ordered about 12 different styles and these were the winners. Took regular size to accommodate a bunion. The smaller size was narrower and these in regular size 7 fit better. I tried them on myself ahead of time to see how they would fit her. Super comfortable and well made. Can't add more than what's been said. Great shoes and look better in person. Easier for mom and her caretakers to slip on .

Very comfortable. I ordered the metal leather and they sent black. Disappointed, but I planned on ordering black if they worked out.

I originally ordered a 7M which is what I normally buy. I had to return as they were too big. Got the 6M and the fit is perfect. I recently had a knee replacement and have difficulty finding shoes (other than running shoes) with good arch support and that bend when I walk which is necessary to set a good gait. These fit the bill exactly. Perfect with jeans or slacks.

I love this shoe. I have received the Ink and the Metal in the Matai and expect to receive the Luggage Brown tomorrow. My feet measure at a size 12 1/2 and these shoes are a great find: Stylish, comfortable, and very supportive. I do wish they came in some brighter colors like Red and Beige.

Oh.....a pleasure for this teacher. Wish they were a bit more stylish, but the unbelievable comfort and width make them perfect for standing and bending all day in first grade.

Very nice shoe, bur were quite large on me. I'm returning for a smaller size.

I have a high arch ( from dance) and need black shoes for retail job. These feel great. The look ( black patent leather) is better than most other comfort shoes. The wide curvy toe box make them less cute than a lot of Mary Janes, but they have comfort and at least decent( not ugly) fashion. Sizing is true. I wear a size 9 in most flats or heels ( cole Haan, Via Spiga, Donald Pliner) and the size 40 fit well- the strap across the middle is adjustable with velcro that stays put, so that makes for a secure fit.

This is the 5th pair I have bought of this style in last 12 years. Wear them everyday all year round. With my foot problem these are the best and wish everyone could try a pair for any reason. Comfort describes them for me.

I love the way these shoes felt right out of the box: fit my high-volume foot with perfect comfort, and is light as a feather. It has a sort of hippie-elven look to it with the swirl on the vamp; I could do with a more traditional look, but at least it doesn't look like a grandma shoe. This fit true to size in the black leather, my usual 39 worked perfectly. I'm considering ordering another pair, but at this price, I'd like to see how I feel after I've used them for awhile.

Fits true to size and most comfortable. I was afraid the black might look too pearly ,but no, a nice matte black. Very well made shoe. I have only had Naot sandals which I love.

These shoes are incredible! I have had a pair that's lasted me over 7 years of frequent wear. I walked all over Disney world with them shortly after getting them and my feet felt better than had I worn sneakers! Excellent arch support. I have giant bunions that usually won't let me wear anything other than wide-width sneakers with a lot of stretch to the fabric. The leather on these shoes is buttery soft, but durable enough to have lasted as long as they have. I just ordered another pair because mine are now getting a little tired looking, but they are still 100% structurally sound. They are crazy expensive, but totally worth it!!

I love these shoes. I purchased them to take on a walking vacation and I think they will be perfect. The brown color I got should match everything from black to navy.

These are my all time favorite shoe. The toe bed is wide, and the heel fits my narrow foot. I have had surgeries on my right foot, and these are the most comfortable shoes for me. I keep coming back for more. The style is cute...particularly for a lady who wore orthotics in years gone by. No need to have additional arch support. If you are seriously considering these, go for it. Your feet will thank you!

I have feet which have been a problem for years. My sister introduced me to these comfortable and cute shoes. For some years I wore orthotics. This is not my first pair with these ultra comfy shoes. They are pricy, but the last for years I have worn them almost exclusively.. And the comfort which you enjoy will be a no brainer! My original Naot Matai have been around the world and back many times. I have forsaken all but my flip flops which have great arch support and my boots for these shoes. Go for it... your feet will love you for a long time!

I love these shoes. They fit perfectly and were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They also have a very nice design. I am considering buying a second pair not withstanding the price.

I bought these in a 40 instead of my usual 39 in some other brands & they fit great. They are comfortable with great arch support. I love that they can be dressed up or worn with jeans. The design on the shoe looks very cute when worn. The Velcro strap makes the shoes easy to put on & tighten. They will go with a lot of different colors. They were more expensive than what I usually pay but I can wear them with a lot of different styles & colors so I expect I will get my money’s worth.

Writing today bec. as I was looking for a Naot sandal here, a suggestion for this shoe popped up and I thought I should write to tell you I'm still happily wearing a pair of these that I bought in 2009, for a trip with lots of walking. Then, I wore them out of the box and never had trouble. I didn't have bad feet then, just a bit sensitive and I never tolerated uncomfortable shoes. HOWEVER, now, I really do have ultra sensitive feet due to chemo neuropathy, drug arthritis, etc. So bad even walking on bare wood floors without shoes is too much sometimes, and anything touching the sides or heel with the slightest bit of too much pressure , stiffness, or roughness causes major discomfort or pain. So guess what? These shoes, and some clogs (one Naot, some Clarks, one Dansko), totally work. So do some high Naot platform sandals I have (but I just never have like too high unless I'm not really walking or doing much). Anyway, I've ordered some Naot sandals for trip to a hot place. But I encourage you to order this. I'm going to order another pair soon, just to have another color. They are great shoes. More comfortable than my running/hiking athletic shoes.

Fit was great, but in person, I didn’t like the style or color. The design on the front was too prominent, and the trim around the side of the shoe was brown, which I wasn’t expecting on a “black pearl” shoe. I was disappointed - I really wanted to like the shoe.
