I have two pairs of these in size 38, black. I usually wear a wide width, these are marked medium, and they fit me perfectly. This is why I keep coming back to Naots as my favorite brand of shoes. The stitching as pulled away in the front between the leather and the suede as if the stitching didn't quite catch the suede properly. This shoe has only been worn a few times, so that is disappointing. I had this happen with another style of Naot also. This is the only reason I am giving it an overall score of 4 stars.

First let me start off by saying that I have foot issues common with age and have a very hard time finding cute comfortable flat shoes. That being said... I hit the jackpot with this style. They are very comfortable out of the box, provide excellent arch support for my high arches with removable insole in case you need to insert an orthotic, plenty of room in the toe box, adjustable strap and can be worn with or without socks. After ordering several colors, instead of settling on the usual black, I decided on the Peacock which is a very deep, dark, pretty neutral, purplish shade. It is different and fun. Yes, they are expensive but my feet are happy!

Walk a lot? Need really comfortable shoes? Found Naot from a referral by a friend ten years ago and I'm Naot and only Naot since.

Another Zappos customer recommend I try Naot shoes for my 90-year-old mother, who has, for a couple of years, been unhappy with more than one pair of expensive, doctor-prescribed, custom-made, ugly, orthopedic shoes. I ordered the Matai (and the Rahina) and Mom is beaming! A truly exceptional experience (with, of course, Zappos unbeatable service). Flawless shoes!

Perfect, right out of the box! These shoes are my first Naots and they definitely won't be my last!

I absolutely love this shoe. It's a perfect fit. I am a size 10. I ordered a 41 (size 10). It fit just fine! They're an awesome, subtle metallic color! Thanks Zappos. Great service as usual!

You can walk/shop all day long in these shoes. Nice wide toebox and the strap does not cut into your foot. Just bought my second pair of these. Lots of compliments on the metallic leather/black ones too!

I loved these shoes instantly right out of the box. However, after just a few wearings, the black patina began to fade leaving me with sparkly shoes fit more for a carnival than for everyday wear. Black liquid shoe polish, which softens the brightness of the metal finish, has provided a temporary remedy--but it is also starting to wear off after only one or two more wearings. The one good thing is that the metal color is more of a warm bronze than the cold aluminum pictured. Still, be warned. The fit and comfort are as described for all similar Naot shoes. I usually take a 40 and the 40 fit just fine. These are extremely comfortable.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned from Day #1. No rubbing, no blisters, nothing but happy feet. I'm in love with my shoes!

Great shoes! I wear mine barefoot in summer and with socks in winter. They have a wide toe box so with a bunion they are just the ticket. They're so comfortable I wear new ones from day one....no breaking in required. Friends have admired them and ordered their own. They are comfortable and stylish. Love the angled strap.

This is my third pair of Naots in this style. This time I ordered a size 35 instead of a 36. These shoes tend to give as you wear them. The 35 fits much better. They all are very comfortable, but within a certain size the fit varies. One pair, I had to add an insole under the existing one to get a good fit.

My first pair of Naots. I had heard such good things about the quality that I decided to give them a try. Foremost I wanted a comfortable office shoe that looked unfrumpy. These shoes look amazingly good. Even though they have a generous toe box, and good arch support (important to me) the overall look is sleek. The quality of the materials is lush. Will look for other styles of Naot for variety. Very happy!

I was close to keeping these, but the strap cut into that part of my foot in a funny way, so I returned them and ordered a similar pair of Naot's instead where the strap is placed a bit closer to the ankle. The footbed in these was extremely comfortable and I thought the color was nicer and a little less loud in person than in the pictures.

These are great shoes. I love the style and the comfort. My only problem was that I think I wear a size between the 39 and the 40 so I had to get them a little small. They did stretch out though. I have gotten many compliments on these shoes.

These shoes may be expensive, but they are worth every penny. I bought these to wear while I'm teaching, since I'm on my feet all day. These shoes are unbelievably comfortable.I never thought I'd spend this much on a pair of shoes, but now I'm planning to buy another pair of Naots! I have large, difficult to fit feet, and I hate uncomfortable shoes. These are just a dream.

Liked this shoe and wanted it to work but the sole was not stable enough for my arthritic big toe. Soft leather was perfect for bunions. Normal size is 9W (ordered a 40) and this was a tad long but not enough height for me to wear it with socks; without socks, it was fine.

I once chased a woman down in a shopping center to find out who made these shoes as I thought they were so cute (I am not ordinarily a fan of the Mary Jane style). When I learned they were Naot, I knew they would be comfortable too, and they are! I have two pairs now and would definitely buy more.

I love this Naot shoe and have had the black one for at least 3 years. PPW (Price Per Wear) is very little since I wear these shoes almost daily. I had Zappo ship me 3 colors and decided on the one that would go with more clothing. Where else can you do this without the cost of shipping. Even though there are no deals on the cost of products at Zappo you pay for service as part of the cost and it is worth every penny. The employees have a great sense of humor and professionalism making if the all around great experience.

This has proven to be the best shoe I have ever worn, straight out of the box. You will not believe how soft the leather lining is; it feels like kidskin. The strap is even lined with it. I had no chafing whatsoever, no break in period, and total comfort from the first minute. I have fibromyalgia and arch problems and have not a hint of pain when wearing these shoes. I get many compliments on them as an added bonus. I am getting a second pair, different color asap.

Love this shoe! This is my go to shoe for casual comfort. So much more comfortable and stylish than tennis shoes! I wear them with leggings and jeans on weekends for running errands and going out casual. I got them in the metallic/black suede, and I want more colors now. They are very attractive, stylish, and versatile.

I am so glad I found these shoes. They look cute and work well with my narrow feet - I still need to wear socks with them though.

These are really comfortable, well constructed shoes. They fit my feet which have a fairly wide forefoot, narrow heal, and long first toe. The shoes look great.

Excellent post knee-rehab recovery shoes - These shoes are top notch for aligning my lower legs and getting my balance proper. Instead of spending several hundred on custom orthotics, I got these, and these work for preventative care for the knees as well. I have Dansko’s, Ecco’s, Birkies, and Keen, but these are the best. The arch support and comfort of the sole is perfect for my medium-arched feet. Super cute style, too. These are the only Naot’s I’ve tried so far, but I plan on buying several more styles and colors. Oh yes, I’m always a size 9.5 but a 40 fits me perfectly with thin socks. I also have somewhat wide feet (they are a 'full b' or a 'small c' depending on manufacturer.) and these were a perfect width, no toe pinching.

Very Comfortable - These are my first Naot shoes and I am not disappointed. I stand at work between 8 and 14 hours a day and these shoes are very comfortable. They almost feel like slippers, and you can wear them all day right away. I would recommend these. I am new to Zappos, and am very pleased with their service and promptness!
