My feet are extra wide so I got half a size bigger than i needed. Very comfortable. Quality materials. Probably going to take a while to break them in. Very stiff. Overall, great product!

These boots are awesome and the color is pretty. I’ve only worn them once but they didn’t hurt at all!!! I have a wide foot; I ordered a half size down and they fit perfectly!

I owned a pair just like these when I was a teen. Bought these as an Xmas present for my teen. She loved them. Stylish and comfortable. Definitely need to break them in though.

Great pair of boots! The shoes felt true to size, but I would recommend wearing high socks at least while you are trying to break them in.

I absolutely Dr.Martens I already have a pair but been wanting the cherry red for quite some time and I’m absolutely in love with them I’m so glad Zappos has them in stock.

I typically wear a women’s 10-10.5 (10.5 most days) and I ordered the UK 8 (US women’s 10). I’m very happy with the size but I definitely have a little bit of toe room. If you’re a closer to a 10.5/11, definitely get the UK 8. If you’re more of a 9.5-10, you’d probably be better off with next size down.

The fit was perfect. I tried the men's size 9 first, but they are way bulkier and wide. It's important to order the women's version for the narrower fit.

Love this boot! A Christmas present that she is very happy with! Loves the style and the durability for college campus they are very useful in the wintertime and have great treads for the hills! Awesome!

Some could say I’ve become a “selective” collector of Dr. Martens. The 1460 W style is a particular favorite and the cherry red did not disappoint. Boots are a little stiff right out of the box, but I expect the leather will soften up after several wearings. Thank you Zappos!

Love these boots!! I had been wanting a pair of Dr. Martin's but I am not a young person and thought they might be too clunky and be very uncomfortable. Decided to try these because of the rubber soles and I need some good winter boots. Well, boy, I was wrong. These boots are so comfortable right out of the box and are so warm. Great against the elements. I got the basic black and I can wear them with everything. I am even thinking about getting another color. Thank you Zappos.

The fit is true to size. I normally wear between a US 7 or 7 1/2. I went with the UK5 and wear it with really thick socks to help break them in. These are my first pair of 1460s (women) but not my first pair of docs. I already ordered another 1460 in another color!! I have small heels that prone to blisters. Wearing thick socks have helped prevent them. I broke the 1460 in about 4 days walking in the city.

These cherry red DMs are beautiful! They look to be good quality and very well made - BUT my daughter couldn’t wear them because where the tongue joins the boot there is a stiff ridge that dug into the top of her foot. My oldest daughter has a very high arch, and she was fine with hers, but my middle daughter couldn’t wear them. They were a size 6 and she’s usually a 5 or 5.5 so there’s no way she could go bigger. It’s a pity because she adored the way they look.

I work in a kitchen and usually wear clogs, but lately I've needed more support as my ankle rolls a lot so I wanted to find something with more support. Got these Doc's and they are SOOOOO comfortable! They're breaking in easily and have plenty of room for me to put a soft insole in and the sole is slip-proof and bouncy. They also wipe clean easily. I'm a total convert to Doc's for my kitchen shoes.

LOVE these!! I've been wanting to buy them forever and so glad I did! I usually wear an 8.5N- so I ordered the 8 and they fit perfectly with an insert. So comfortable the first time I wore them- no breaking in, no blisters. The black smooth leather is really nice and seems durable.

Ordered both a size 7 & 8 to see which fit better. Sadly it was like Goldilocks but with a solution. & was too small & wouldn't have broken in to fit. 8 was too loose and would get worse once broken in. BUMMER!! Had to send both pair back.

DMs are a classic shoe and I've often thought of purchasing a pair. Since they're new, the leather is a little stiff but I'm assuming they'll soften up as I wear them. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 but the 7 was really big. I'm keeping a size 6 which has room.

I am a size 8 in womens sometimes a 7.5, Euro 38. In Dr. Martens, my size is UK 5/ 7 US. Hope that helps some women trying to figure out their sizes. I'm also a size 38 in Danskos, which equates to 7.5-8 US Womens.

I really love this boot. It feels like it will last a long time. I compared it to the Napa Leather version and decided to go with this one. The Napa leather is softer right out of the box, but this leather seemed like it could withstand more wear and tear. Both were very comfortable, though. The “W” version is a much better fit for women’s feet. In the “w” version of this boot I wear my normal size on the size chart. In the unisex version I wear a size smaller than my normal size according to their chart. It is a great boot!

I grew up in the '90s and never had original Docs, but always wanted them, more recently in the past couple of years. Now that I am a mom in my mid to late 30s, I thought it would be fun to have a pair, as I have seen plenty of other women my age wear them. People aren't kidding when they say these take a while to break in. I wear medium-weight socks with them to protect my ankles/calves a little more. But I love them and I'm told they get better with age! And I was amazed with shipping, as always. I ordered them on a Sat. afternoon and they arrived Mon. evening!

Overall fit of the boot was great. It does take some time to wear in.
