This boot was for my 12 yr old. The height of the boot was a little uncomfortable for her shin initially. She loves the style and heel height.

LOVE! The heel takes a little bit to break in, so wear thick socks for a bit to avoid blisters.

Took a few hours of wearing around the house to loosen up enough for a full day of wearing with no discomfort

Bought these for my daughter because she's been wanting them for years! Style, quality & fit is perfect (though quite heavy but we expected that). Zappos is #1 in customer service & selection!

My 18 year old daughter is wearing these as a bridesmaid this weekend. She tried on multiple booties, but none were her style. These will go with the boho look of the wedding party, & she'll get a lot of mileage out of them for casual, daily wear.

OK! THESE ARE GREAT! but only because we finally figured out we needed the "W" for WOMENS size!! if you order the unisex they are too big/wide for most women... we tried four different pairs! finally - we realized there was the W option... they still run a little large, so definitely order 1/2 - 1 size down

I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am to these shoes. I got my first pair of Docs purely for aesthetic reasons. I had just gotten a job as a barista and was ready to don the all black uniform. I worked 25 hour weeks for eight months and never had any pain at the end of the day. I was promoted and worked a 40 hour week for six months, still without any pain. These shoes are just starting to show wear and tear. Mostly because barista work is incredibly messy. I am a woman's 7 and they are true to size. I have very narrow feet with high arches, and they are truly the most comfortable and supportive shoes that I own. I would buy these shoes 10 times over if I needed to. They have been well worth their money. These are the best shoes that I have ever owned!

Love these boots! Only took a few days to break in. I am a 7 1/2 so I ordered both a seven and size 8 to try and the seven fit me perfect. Great quality at a great price!

Love these! Comfortable, solid sole, classic Doc Martens style. I'm a 9.5 since they don't come in half sizes I ordered a 9 (EU 41) and they fit great. Excited to wear these all fall and winter!

The boots run big. My daughter has always been a size 7, but I guess we'll need to reorder these in a size 6, since they don't come in half sizes.

They are DM's...you can't go wrong. I normally wear an 8 1/2 US women's, and the 8's (since they don't come in half sizes) fit me well, considering the break-in process can be a bit rough with these. Zappos' return/exchange process is fantastic, so it's very easy to exchange them if you need to try a different size. Also, these can be a bit squeaky the first few times you wear them because of the leather...just be warned when you get them home and want to wear them asap. I ended up randomly using Moroccan oil (the kind I use for my hair...it was all I had, I was desperate) around the whole perimeter of the shoe where the leather meets the sole (the area right above the stitching), and the squeaking went away instantly. There are definitely other ways you can break these in, but in a pinch, this worked out surprisingly well.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable even wearing them all day. I absolutely love the cherry red color. This color looks more girlish than black for example and adds a pop of color when I wear my solid color blouses and jeans. I love the rounded toe with plenty of room for wiggle. I wear semi-high socks so that the back of the top of the shoe doesn't rub on my lower calf. Don't hesitate to buy these. Dr. Martens last forever with no signs of wear. I couldn't be happier!

Fit is good. A little tight through the top of the foot, but I expect it to loosen up with wear. My only complaint is the defect in the stitching on the left boot. Although I’ve been wearing them for a week before I noticed, so it is what it is. Super cool edgy style that I love. Easy to get on and off. Knocked off one star because of the stitching but kept a 4 star because I really love these boots.

I bought a size too big and they were huge!! Not to mention really heavy. I would size down

these looked like clown shoes on me and i don't know why . i was really excited for them but unfortunately had to return them because they looked so ridiculous

Overall: two to three stars. Size & Width: I wear a size 7 US and have high arches. I have narrow-to-regular foot width, most standard widths fit nicely. These boots run somewhat larger than regular width. Style: The black smooth finish is beautiful, looks and feels lovely. I have no doubt it will be industrial and hold its shell for quite a number of good kicks. The treads are just as hearty. Laces are fantastic (I know those can be replaced, but I just wanted to say) and they came with an extra set of yellow laces (if you wish to carry on the yellow stitched styling around the edges). I actually feel the gold thread cheapened the look of the boots. They could pass as dress (as far as combat boots go) if it were not for that yellow seam. The tongue was odd: it needed a depressor. While it did not impact wearing the boot in terms of comfort, it looked awkward and puckered when the boot was tied. Comfort: Arch seemed decent out of the box. Plenty of space for thick socks if you so desire. The material is lighter so they would be nice for a range of weather conditions. However, the material is very stiff around the ankle and (even with adjustment and loosening the lacings), (1) I could not rotate my ankle, and (2) the top of the boot always looked like my legs were being squished at the top. The stiffness may (or may not) go away with wearing, but out of box I could not fold my legs under, or settle in any common in-between seated-to-kneeling positions. If you have the need to dance, that might not be so easy as well. Mechanics: It takes some time to lace these up and and down, so plan extra time your routine for such a task. If you are looking for boots you can pull on and tie up in a whirl, this is not the footwear for you. Verdict: I am going to look into buying the shoelaces as a solo act. Otherwise, I booted these back.

Size 9- love the boot very comfortable fan of this boot have another pair- received a lot of compliments- you can wear with jeans and or leggins

Great fit- a little wider than expected but true to size. Very comfortable!

After breaking these shoes into submission they are way comfortable. The break in process on them was a bit long so I just wore moleskin and may have stepped on them a few times to help the process along. Totally comfortable now and I love them!

After reading other reviews I ordered one size smaller than I normally wear and they were too small. Had to send them back for my normal size. They’re real leather so they take some time to break in but so worth it! I feel like I’m bringing the 1990’s back!

The fit is nice and such a nice shoe literally can wear with anything.

These are my first pair of Dr. Martens boots. They are so stylish and comfortable. Definitely recommend these boots for your first pair of Martens.
