Loved the style and the brand but the boots were just too stiff and uncomfortable :(

The foot bed in these boots is very comfortable from the beginning. Breaking in the rest of the boot was painstaking. I am not impressed with the leather. It looks and feels vegan/plastic so much I am not sure if it is leather. I checked the inside of the boot for a list of materials and there is none. I should have taken a look at the Pascal line before settling because the leather is said to be softer.

Purchased these Doc's for my girlfriend she is a size 10 but the woman's 10 were too big. Returned the 10 for a 9 they fit perfectly, just need that break in period. These Doc's seem to be made cheaper than the ones made in England years ago. The sole is still the same air cushion but you can definitely tell they're not made in England. I was a little disappointed in the quality. I'm 38 and have been wearing Doc's since age 13. Overall once they're broken in they'll be fine. Can't really do anything about it until they start up in England again.

Well I don't have wide feet. I wear Converse most of the time. I got my Docs in the mail opened the box and they were perfect! Until I took the paper out and tried to put my feet in them. My heels did not fit at all! I jumped around trying to jam them it, it wasn't happening. I had them as loose as they could go and my feet still didn't fit. It was terrible. I would love to wear them, but I can't. If you have narrow feet or small heels, go for it! Buy them and wear them.

Very disappointed in the quality of the boot. They looked so cheap. They did not appear to be made of leather. Rather, a shiny plastic material. I returned them.

I wanted to love these, but the seam that goes across the toe cut into my foot so bad that it left a mark in my skin after less than 10 minutes in the shoe. It would’ve been torture to wear them for any longer than that. Thinking about trying the 1460 (not W) to see if they fit better.

I wanted to love these boots, but the seam where the tongue starts is so tight on the top my foot that it left a mark after wearing them for 5 minutes. Too painful to even attempt to wear them. Sad.

Super sad that these didn't work out for me. I didn't think I had a high arch until I tried these on. Immediately, where the tongue meets the shoe, there is a rigid seam that digs into the top of my foot. I read about breaking these in and I LOVED how they look, but I just couldn't justify being in pain for a few days or going to a cobbler given the costly price. I walked around for half a minute and could already feel how bruise the top of my foot was - there was absolutely no way I could wear these out. Overall, wish they fixed the seam or something in the future. Would love to own a pair of these!

I received these boots as a gift for Christmas. I do not wear them everyday but the tongue on the left boot has torn, almost in half! I can't believe it, I always thought Dr. Martens were high quality...guess not anymore!

Terrible quality. Received with the right shoe's leather peeling off. Otherwise color is a nice navy and seemed comfortable enough for the 1 second I wore them on carpet. Quality overall has gone down hill compared to Docs from their hay day.

I bought the Dr. Martens 1460W and the Dr. Martens Aimilie 9-Eye Toe Cap Boot at the same time to compare. The leather on these boots is surprisingly cheap feeling and extremely stiff, while the Aimilie was a lot more supple. The 1460W does not even feel like real leather, unfortunately. I ordered the same size in both and the 1460W was also noticeably narrower in across the instep than the Aimilie. I love the look, but they did not feel that comfortable. On the upside, they were light and the non-slip sole was a plus. I went with the Aimilie instead, though.

THey fit well and are the great shoes you'd expect BUT the grommets were dark silver instead of black. This was on Zappos, not on the shoes.

The shoes are incredibly cute, and fit slighty large. I am a size10 typically in boots, and ordered a 9/7uk. If you are okay with manmade uppers, this is for you. This boot is pleatherlicious . I gotta return. Bummer

I would love to give it 5 stars but unfortunately they ripped on the back :'( I thought the leather would be more durable but I was wrong. I love doc martens but this pair was disappointing.

the place where the seam from the toe to the tounge is so huge these boots were unwearable. I tried breaking them in on carpet in my house...they never got better.. i will return

Totally different then they used to be! must have changed manufacturers! Not happy

The construction of this shoe makes it impossible to wear! The top of the foot, where the laces start, has a seam and indentation that cuts off the circulation in your feet!

I was so happy to find a pair of classic Docs like I wore years ago. Unfortunately, these are nothing like the original Docs many of us knew and loved, but instead cheap imitations. I'm not sure what product the other reviewers received but the leather of my boots wasn't soft. I'm not even sure it was leather. The entire boot was so rigid that the time I spent trying to break them in caused bruising over the tops of my feet and on my shins. After four days I noticed the leather(?) on the toe had split and started to peel. I wore my original Docs for over a decade and these couldn't even last a week.
