This is my second pair. I love the fit and style for casual wear. One of the most comfortable shoes I own.

finally nice fit, have keens for kayaking, wanted a everyday shoe perfect. own merrils but keens feel a bit better. but soon as I bought them they dropped $10 after I received them. but still satisfied. zappos excellent service.

I have flat feet with little or no arch. Tired of buying sports type shoes, I tried the Keen Arroyo II and have found them to be very comfortable with great support. They truly are a different shoe.

I bought these for my son; I wanted a style that was a little bit more closed then the Newport. This shoe exceeded my expectations in it's handsome look and good arch support. They're a great mix of shoe and sandal. They are made with washable leather so I am hoping they are easy to take care of. I highly recommend Keens because they Are sturdy and durable and protect your feet.

Just purchased 2 weeks ago, comfortable and it adds an inch to my height! For my feet, more comfy than the Newport. Looking forward to using them on the hiking trails.

Fantastic shoes! They are very comfortable to wear. I needed the shoes which offer good support for my ankle, and they do deliver it! I am very happy with those and highly recommend them to everyone!

I bought these as a replacement for my Keen Newport H2. I don't like them as well as I did my Newport, but they are still very good shoes.

These are an excellent, casual, warm weather shoe. I got them to replace a similar pair that I have had for more than 10 years. They provide good support, while allowing your feet to breathe. The closed back allows them to be worn with orthotics.

Really comfortable and great foot support. I have had foot surgery and need a firm supporting sole. This is a great product and excellent value!

Ah, these sandals, these sandals have revitalized my shod summer life. I never thought a shoe could be as comfortable or as enjoyable as going barefoot, but these sandals are as much fun. Whether walking across a lawn or hiking a field these sandals are ginchy. I even forget to take them off in the house. Happy Trails.

This is my third Keen, and this one has the best footbed of all, making it also the most comfortable of all. But I'm writing this review to bring to attention the only problem with this sandal: as it has a non-adjustable, closed heel, the "lace" system, does not works well. The tension/friction adjustment is not able to keep a tight fit, making the sandal feel a little loose. It is a tribute to its design that, even with this flaw, it still feels very good on your feet. With a better "lace" system, this would have been the perfect sandal.

Love these shoes. My third pair of keens. All I will wear. Very comfortable.

Good water shoe comfortable right out of the box. Will use them everyday and hey! my wife likes them!

This hiking shoe - sandal cross is perfect for my lifestyle. I live where the summers are quite warm, and I am on the hiking trails everyday. The Keen Arroyo II feels like (and offers the protection of)a shoe, but at the same time keeps your feet ventilated, with or without socks. I wear 8.5 or 9.0 (U.S.) normally, but went with the smaller size.

Excellent shoe. May run 1/2 size or so large, which was good for me because I have narrow feet. 9 1/2 feels like 10. I said true to width because Keens normally run a little wide, so by getting a half size smaller I got a shoe that actually fits quite well.

One of the most comfortable sandal/walking shoes I've owned. Great for mixed terrain hikes in warmer climes. Flexible and vented construction perfect for trails and soft surfaces. Not advised for rocky. technical climbing. Inner sole can be removed overnight so that it can dry out quickly. All in all, a real winner for me. Dr Z

I have been using the Keen Arroyo for over six years and found that they work best for my feet. They are comfortable and practical.

This is my 2nd pair of Keen's. I wanted to try the heel support, which is why I bought this style, glad I did. Very comfortable with great support.

These are solid and comfortable sandals. They are built like hiking shoes with ventilation. The best part is the lack of small pebbles that get between your sole and foot with some types of enclosed sandals. These sandals also give some protection for the back of your heel which most sandals fail.

I love my Keens! They are all I wear. I have had foot problems my whole life. I switched to Keens about five years ago and my foot problems went away. I bought these three summers ago for a hiking trip to Norway and Iceland. And a pair of leather Keen hikers that they no longer make. They are easy on easy off with plenty of comfort and support for lite hiking. I wear these 90 percent of the time during Spring, Summer and Fall. I will even wear them in the Winter with a pair of wool socks. I have recommended Keens to everyone I have met that have a foot issue. Zappos is awesome to work with. Had an issue with a pair of hikers, I called, they sent me a new pair and payed the shipping for the ones I sent back.

These are excellent shoes. I walk a great deal and need something comfortable. I lost 40 pounds mostly by walking even though I have foot problems. They are basically like the Targhee II but with holes. I have come to prefer these for dry conditions (Targees are waterproof) because of the extra comfort: I have hallucinating rigidus (arthritis of the big toe) and I have a big swelling at that joint with some loose bone fragments drifting around. As luck would have it one of the holes is right where that lump is. Perfect! Also, I wear custom orthotics because of a serious ankle injury, and these are one of the only sandals that have removable footbeds. I've been lazy about reviews but wrote this for all the other folks with foot troubles. Keep on truckin'!

I have bought the Arroyo II now, for years and they never seem to disappoint me. This review, however, is not about this product, but Zappos.com. I ordered these on a Thursday morning and they arrived Friday before 3:00 pm. Nobody does UPS Next Day Air free but Zappos! I got tired of waiting for the size 16 to list, so I requested it. About a week later I received an email from them that they found a pair. If only you can find the two pair of Kuhl Kontra Air in a size 38X36, light khaki, I requested, I would change my mind from Great to UNBELIEVABLE about Zappos.com.

I live in these shoes in the warm months. I'm on my 5th pair. They are durable, styled to my liking, take my orthotics, and good for sock less wear. However, they are warm, even though they are open design. Buy 1/2 size down.

This is my third pair of Arroyo's in the past ten years! They are cool, comfortable, easy off and on, and light weight. Can wear all day long without any discomfort. I recycle my old ones to yard work and, they keep on going.
