These shoes are the equivalent of your oldest, most comfortable pair of jeans. They feel like gloves for your feet, comfortable right out of the box. There was no breaking-in required as usually is the case with flats--lots of toe room without the toe cleavage. I ordered a half size up as suggested, but I had to return them for the next size so I recommend ordering a full size up. I absolutely love them and intend to order in several colors. I only wish they made a cloth version instead of suede.

I absolutely love this shoe, the color red goes with everything, and the fit is small, order one size up. I wear them all day and am on my feet, they are extremely comfortable. I wear them casual and dress, they are my favorite. I love the red so much I am thinking of buying a pair to keep when these wear out.

Considering how these shoes are made, they are a little pricey. However, they aren't tight, don't seem like they need breaking in and are pretty comfortable. Order 1/2 size larger. I would definitely buy another pair.

Cute lil' shoe. Not much support, and is a bit wide, but otherwise I am very happy with the purchase. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day, so I need cute yet comfortable shoes to complement my wardrobe. If you get the suede, make sure you get it protected at your local shoemaker/bootery!

Size issues! I originally ordered these from another vendor, but cancelled after the backorder time extended to two months. Zappos got them here in less than 24 hours! Advised at the other site to purchase a full size up, I ordered a 10. Not only were they too big, the right shoe seemed to be a full size larger than the left. Zappos immediately shipped out a 9.5, which fit fine, although they are a little snug on the top of my foot. Was it worth the hassle? Yes! I have tried on many pairs of black ballet flats over the past year and nothing can match these. They have a wide, sophisticated cut (good for heavier legs), are polished yet casual, and go with everything except dressy work clothes. They do not have a lot of padding or support, and they are pricey, but I will definitely buy another pair one of these days.

I love these shoes. I was a little leery to order because of the price. Now that I have them, I would buy any color they had in my size. Unfortunately, I wear a size 12 and that was the only pair. One of the reasons I like them so much is that they make my big feet actually look cute (if that's even possible). They fit great despite other reports that they run small. Perhaps it's because I am used to wearing shoes that are too small, but I find them quite comfortable.

I have owned a lot of flats and they all gapped and caused blisters. First time on and I walked all day with no problems!! They fit like ballet slippers so make sure they are snug, but order 1/2 size up like the other reviews. I found this brand in the book 101 Things to Buy Before You Die and they were right!!! I am buying my 3rd pair and will definitely get more.

Very cute flat. I bought it in the red suede and really like the way it looks. I have a hard time finding flats that I'll actually wear and don't cut into my feet while still staying on. That is the great thing about these shoes... they are made of nice, soft, good quality leather that molds to your foot rather than being hard and pre-shaped ... which is probably why the shoe runs so small. You kind of need it to be snug to stay on. Thankfully, a snug shoe like this one does not hurt the way others might. I did end up getting a half-size larger, but now that I've worn them around a bit, I'm torn on whether I should have stuck with the original size because the leather does stretch out some. Be aware that there is basically no support in this shoe. It's like a really cute slipper :)

I ordered this shoe in bronze, and the color was great...just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the shoe did not fit well. It seemed very short in length, but was also very wide. It gapped along the sides when I walked, due to the low cut. I would have loved to keep this shoe. Will be returning it.

Buy a bigger size than you normally would!
My Sloops arrived at my door in LESS THAN A DAY after I ordered them (love, love ZAPPOS!) and the closest size they had in the zebra print which I really wanted was an 8 1/2 (I usually wear 7 1/2 and sometimes 8). After reading many reviews stating to buy a 1/2 size bigger I thought I'd try the 8 1/2. THEY FIT PERFECTLY. I have never worn an 8 1/2 in my life - the largest I've ever needed was an 8. These shoes are so cute and I highly recommend them with jeans, skirt, almost anything. Definitely buy a bigger size than you would normally wear.

I was looking for ballet type shoes as I have a hard time with very constructed flats (or heels for that matter). I wanted a slipper feel. I got it with these shoes. Very pricy but for what I needed, well worth it to me. They are SO soft and wonderful to wear. The ONLY drawback I have is that the sole is very minimal so you have to watch where you wear them. No rainy days or muddy walkways, please. I wipe the soles off regularly with a wet paper towel and I'm good to go. The soles are man-made material so that may be why they get yucky after so many wearings, but to me they are exactly what I wanted and feel so comfortable. I had to go up a size as stated in the guide. There are times I can't wear thong sandals or boots but need a closed in shoe. These fit the bill.

These are the best flats I have ever owned! I had to order a whole size up, but they are fit wonderfully and are super cute. I bought the pewter color because the silver was a little too light and seemed like it would get dirty easily. The quality on these is excellent compared to my other (non Sloop) flats. If Zappos gets the black in stock in my size, I'll definitely buy another pair!

I have a high arch and a narrow heal. These shoes are comfy straight out of the box. I just ordered another pair. Order a half size up, I was a 7.5 and the 8 fit perfect. The colors are true to what's shown. I got the red and will get the purple. The photo where it looks like the sides are 'wavy' iron out when you put them on, thought they'd be too wide, but they're perfect.

What a bummer!
These are adorable flats. But the sizing is so completely off. I wear an 8.5 or a 9 and I usually opt for a 9 in flats. The 9 almost fit but was just too snug and my feet swam in the 9.5. If the sizing were better on these shoes, they'd be really cute.
