I love the French Sole Sloop. I have a foot problem called Mortons Neuroma. I have been wearing the same two pairs of tennis shoes with an orthotic (an intersole which was very expensive) for about four years. All other shoes were painful even when I would just try them on. I have no pain when I wear the French Sole Sloop. I do not even need to wear the orthotic in the shoes. I feel like I have won the lottery. So far I have bought seven pairs. They do not hurt and they are so cute. How could anyone not get the leopard or the red? I have had to return several pairs because they were too tight on one foot. I buy my regular size 10 and if they feel a little snug, within half an hour they are fine. I tell every one about these shoes. I should also mention that my podiatrist recommended Zappos because of the variety of shoes that I could try. I have ordered many shoes from this wonderful company and have had to return them because of the Neuroma but wow did I hit the jackpot with these shoes. I ordered them based on the reviews.

I love the sloop from French Sole. I find it extremely comfortable and easy to work with different clothing. It really does feel as if you are barefoot, but better! Unlike most of the reviewers, I order my true size - at first, the shoe will feel tight, but wear it a while and it will mold to your foot.

I love these shoes. They're extremely comfortable. I have wide feet, so I was a bit skeptical about ordering them. Since Zappos offers free shipping, I decided to give them a try. Now, I'm ordering another pair.

This shoe is super cute but I was also glad I ordered a half size up. There is no support -- they are like wearing slippers. I wish the shoe didn't have the dorky tag on the back.

I just got this shoe yesterday, and only took them off to sleep last night. I really love this shoe. The style is really cute, and despite all the reviews suggesting that I buy a size up, I bought my regular size and it fits perfectly. The shoe is intended to fit like a ballet slipper, which is snug, and that's how it fits. They do need a little breaking in, particularly in the top front edge that goes over the foot, but otherwise it is perfect. Also, with regard to the arch support complaints, I just want to point out that if your feet are normal and healthy, you do not need arch support. Shoes with arch support actually weaken the muscles in normal, healthy feet.

So comfortable and classy. Stylish, minimal lines take you anywhere with ease. Highly recommend this shoe, and all of the French Sole line.

Great at first but after 2 amazing weeks they stretched out a size! It's hard to wear them at this point and I've had them less than a month. But what a great first 2 weeks.

My favorite shoe. I have finally found something to wear besides my Dansko clogs. Please be sure to order a half-size up, however. I love the way the way they look although my daughters tell me they would be groovier if there were less coverage in the front half.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable. I read a review that they were a little flimsy and may not hold up well. I would agree with that, but we'll see. They run a half size small.

I don't know what everyone is talking about with the need to break these in. I got these a half-size up as the French Sole website and many reviews have suggested and they fit perfectly right out of the box. The top of the shoe was a little tight for a couple of minutes and then it was fine. I got them this afternoon and have been wearing them since. I can't attest to the longevity of the shoe, and due to how soft the black nappa leather looks I'm a little worried, but am hoping for the best. Overall a great shoe, and if it lasts I would definitely recommend it.

I love this shoe! I have it in brown suede also. This is my travel shoe and it has gone to Europe for 2 trips. It goes with everything, is comfortable and doesn't take up a lot of space in luggage. It doesn't have arch support but that doesn't seem to matter. I have put in arch supports for long walks that I can remove also. I always get compliments when I wear this shoe.

You need to order at least half a size bigger on these. The toe area covers quite far up your foot,further than I expected. They are made from beautiful soft leather.

Cute - I like the rounder toe and higher cut but they run small! I ordered a 9 (my usual size) - too small. I ordered a 9.5 and they were still too small. I am not sure a 10 will even fit. Trying a different brand and style to see if I have better luck. I might come back to this shoe. I think it will be comfortable if I can just find the right size.

These shoes are like bedroom slippers! The cut is roomy in the toe box (plus no toe cleavage) and high enough in the heel that they stay on my feet, unlike most of my flats. The only issue is that one side starts to cut into the ball of my foot after I've been wearing them awhile. I am hoping this will go away as they wear in.

When I first was looking for good flats, these came up with all reviews being 5/5 stars. Now I see more of a spread. Wonder what happened there. Anyways, these shoes are just not comfortable. The worst thing was that they rubbed the back of my ankle to the point where I blistered and bled (both sizes I tried). The other thing is they are barely better than going barefoot. There is nothing between you and the ground but a thin piece of leather. I get more support and cushion from my Old Navy flip flops. They had good construction quality and looked very nice, but they were not for me.

These are really cute shoes. I didn't read about them running smaller so had to return the 7-1/2 I usually wear and order an 8. I am still getting used to them, one of them is rubbing the back of my foot and I'm hoping it will stretch. If you are looking for any type of support at all you will not find it in this shoe, it is more like a slipper. I will not use for walking any distances. I actually have a pair of Jessica Simpson ballet flats I bought for half the price that are more comfortable.

I've looked for a pair of comfortable, but cute, animal print flats for a year. I love the French Salon flats. I have three pair of the Zeppa style, but never saw the animal print in the stores. While skimming Zappos, I came upon these. They were out of my size, so I signed up on the waiting list, and was notified within ten days that they had them. I am a 6 but wear the 6.5 in this brand. They arrived the day after I ordered them. They are darling and fit like a glove, although a little short. I like the Sloop but the Zeppa is my favorite because of the little heel. I have somewhat narrow feet but also have a bunion. Somehow this brand is almost formfitting to my feet and is not too wide. The edges never cut into my feet, either. They are super comfortable but still stylish. Thank heavens for Zappos!

This is a fabulous shoe! Feels like a slipper and flattering, as well. It ran just a bit short (and only for my right foot), and because of the extra soft leather upper, did not want to risk putting that much pressure on the toe of the shoe, so I am returning them. Hard decision, because I really wanted to keep them.

Love this shoe! I already have a pair in black suede so was eager to get another color. Some may not like the lack of arch support (and I have high arches) but I found the shoes extremely comfortable. Size-wise, the shoes were true to my 7.5 - 8 size feet. Already looking to get a pair of brown suede flats next fall. Very cute shoes, love them!

Gorgeous, wonderful shoe! I feel like a million dollars in style and comfort. I know the quality is superb! True what they say, order half size up from normal!

I loved them when I first got them (even with zero support), but they stretched so much that they no longer stayed on my foot. After a few months, I can no longer wear them. not worth the money.

This is the most comfortable shoe that I have worn in a very long time. I liked it so much that I immediately purchased two additional pairs. As recommended, I ordered one-half size larger than I normally wear, and it was a perfect fit.

I wear an 8.5 in most flats, and have a slightly wide foot. Stupidly, I ignored the advice of the company and went with an 8.5 in this shoes based on another reviewer's note that this is supposed to fit like a leather sock. Even though I will be returning for a 9, I will say that this shoes feels like absolute heaven on my foot just sitting around my apartment. My toes are a bit claustrophobic, which is why I'll size up, but absolutely everything else about them is divinely comfy. Can't wait to get the new size and take them out for a spin.

I wear an 8.5 or a 9N. I got these in 9.5 and they were still to small, with my toes pushing through. The leather also looked shiny and not as nice as I thought it would for the price. I returned.
