Cute but painful. The first pair I ordered arrived already used, the replacement pair had one shoe wider/longer than the other. Both marked the same size. One pair arrived with a white interior and the other with a natural camel colored interior. These shoes tore up my heels, rubbing in all the wrong places. After wearing them around the house they never softened up or stretched to fit, just kept making my feet sore. I am not sure why they get such good reviews from people. Have tried multiple colors now and each one leaves my feet in pain.

Super cute. These suede ones fit much bigger than the regular leather ones. I didn't really have to break these in. Hoping they hold up well!

I originally ordered my size 8. I needed half a size up. Now they are perfect and I love my Sloops. They totally conformed to the shape of my foot.

READ IF YOU ARE ORDERING RED PAIR. I really wanted a red pair of these shoes to wear as I love having a pop of red in my outfit. However, when these shoes arrived they were definitely not red, they were more of a hot fuchsia or dark pink. So if that is what you are looking for, these are great shoes but they are definitely not red.

After reading the reviews, I ordered my normal size 9. (Also, my feet are neither narrow nor wide but I have bunions.) When the shoes arrived, I tried them on and found that they were incredibly tight and short. I was ready to pack them up and return them but I remembered what others had said: they loosen quickly. And yes, that's absolutely true. I wore them around the house for a few hours and now they are very soft and comfortable. The toe box area is the last thing to soften and conform to your foot. I am very glad that I did not order a half-size up. The shoes would be falling off my feet now.

I first thought these shoes were too small, but an earlier review - by a dancer - convinced me to give the fit another chance. Indeed, these "fit like a glove", but they also mold snugly and comfortably to my foot, like a good kid glove. I love them and will buy more. Does it help anyone to know I am 70, not 25?

Just too snug in the toe box for me. I have a slightly higher arch and a snug toe box is a deal breaker. I have read the reviews about not buying above your normal size even though they feel snug. I think they would be too loose--after wearing in-- if I ordered any larger than my usual size 7.

I ordered these in both a 9 & 9.5, because of conflicting advice on whether to size up in this brand or not. It was an "almost perfect" shoe for me. There isn't much arch support or sole thickness, so it fits more like a true ballet flat or minimalist shoe. That said, my issue was more with the sides of the shoe, which were a little gappy. My feet are narrow at the heel & wide in the toebox, but they're thin with a mid-to-high arch... these would be better suited to someone with a thicker, wider foot. I wanted to love them, but it was not to be!! Someone else will enjoy them immensely!!

Pros: Very comfortable, soft leather, goes well with any outfit. Cons: You have to order a full size larger. They will look very worn after a few wears.

I love the true red color. This shoe runs extremely small. I am returning the size 7 and ordering a 7 1/2 and 8 to find out which will work.

Wanted to love these shoes--they were beautiful and seemed like a quality product. However, the big toe pinching was horrible. And it pulled at the leather so the shoe looked warped across the other 4 toes. Sizing up wouldn't have changed anything except making them much too long. I was very sad to return these.

This shoe runs EXTREMELY small. I had heard that they were somewhat smaller than traditional sizes, so I went for a 9.5, when I normally wear a 9 or 9.5. The 9.5s arrived today, and while it's a cute shoe, it is so tight as to be unwearable. Back they go...

I was initially inclined to send these back - they are really pricey and way too tight out of the box (for me, it was tight around the upper edge of the shoe, not so much at the heel). But, as the other reviewers have mentioned, the leather stretches and the quality seems to be much better than my usual go-to's (luckys, which I tend to burn a hole into within 2-3 months). I would say that it took me a week of wear for them to be comfortable every day shoes. They fit quite nicely now. I hope they hold up!

I kept the faith, per a review from a dancer, that these shoes would adapt to my feet. They did not. They felt a size too small and certainly NOT wide enough. The pictures seemed to indicate a much malleable shoe. These were stiff and not adaptable.

Way too small! Very disappointing. Beautiful shoes but they came in a size 9 box (size ordered) but they fit like a 6!! I could barely get my toe in and the sole wasn't long enough for my foot. And neither shoe has any size marking on the shoe - inside or out. So it looks like they put wrong size shoes in the box. Beautiful looking. Very disappointed. Will not try again since the shoes had no size markings and cannot be sure to get right size.

I love these shoes, but they were 1/2 size too small. I have already returned them for the larger size. Very soft and feel great on!

Thanks to the previous reviewer that gave me a head's up that this works for feet with narrow heel. First ballet flat I could comfortably wear. Made me feel graceful as I walked about town yesterday!

I read so many reviews on these; some said to go up a 1/2 size, some said stick with your normal size because they will stretch out quite a bit. I almost always wear a 6, sometimes a 5.5. So since I tend to go smaller sometimes, I thought the 6 was the way to go on these. When I got them out of the box, they were ridiculously tight; barely could get my feet in them. However, someone said to give them at least 3 days of wearing to stretch out. So I did just that. Day one was tough. Day 2 a little better. Day 3, they are fine. I think I probably would have been ok with a 6.5, although I hate when shoes are too big, so I'm good with my choice. They do feel like ballet slippers now, smooth suede interior that is my exact foot shape.

This shoe is not Black. It's grey. The color in the photo is fairly accurate. Great comfortable shoe but do not like the color/

They are a very cute shoe. Ran small so big toe left a mark. Wore them once and they looked soiled. A very delicate shoe for the price and considered they would be a shoe to slide on quickly and wear frequently. Disappointed.

These were nicely made, lined with irrationally soft leather. The are somewhat snug. They will mold to your foot. For me, that is the problem: I have no arch, need metatarsal support and have a large bone (not yet a bunion) where my big toe begins. I do not have pretty feet. These shoes do absolutely nothing for support, comfort, or to enhance the look of my foot. If you have beautiful feet with a nice arch, then these might really be for you. These were not at all for me.

This is a beautiful shoe and just the style I was looking for. However, I reliably wear a size 8.5. When this didn't fit, I ordered a size 9 and found that to also be very snug and seemed that it would cut into the top of my foot with any prolonged (>10 minutes) wearing. I am returning but not ordering a whole size larger than my usual.

These are the best flats that I have ever had! They do expand after wearing so I bought my second pair a size smaller. They come in great colors, too.

These are very pretty, simple, and classic. My 13 year old wears a size 7½ Converse and 7½ Toms, but would probably need a 8½ in these shoes (we tried a 7½ which was way too small, and an 8). Both the 7½ and the 8 cut into the top of her foot. It could be the sizing or just the style/make.
