I read reviews but shoe was at least half size too short.

adorable shoes but these are like walking a piece of cardboard. I can wear to the office only if I know I will not be walking anywhere.

These are cute but run a bit small. I usually take a 6.5. Need a 7 in these.

No toe cleavage.great.i had to go up 1 full size but it feels like they will be a tad loose once they break in.hopefully not.where your toes bend when you walk does pinch.i tried 2 sizes to make sure n its still the same.the larger size hurt less.Im hopeful they will last at least a yr.bought brown n patent leather black to match with alot.Tried frye flats .beautiful shoe .but skinny style n toe cleavage.returned for these.

I love these shoes! I wear a Euro size 41, in US I go between 9.5 and 10 (rarely 10.5 but it happens). I got these in a 10, they were super tight at first try but just tight, my toes weren't squished or bent. Keeping the dancer lady's review in mind, I wore them around the house and decided to see it through. After one day of walking around they now fit my foot like a glove and haven't taken them off since. Mine are the brown suede and I don't know if that aided in conforming to my foot so quickly and easily but it seems like the super soft material might be a factor. Whatever, they're super and I'm getting them in black too!

I love these shoes. I have been wearing them for 5+ years. I am buying additional pairs because they are my sigature shoe and I don't want to be without. However there must have been a sizing change. My normal size8 was like a childs shoe. I tried 8.5 still too tight. 9 fits. I am relieved. Hopefully they will not stretch out as other reviews have said Before I stock up I will wear these new ones for awhile and then decide if buying 9 is best.

I ordered these ballet flats in the Black Nappa Leather a half size larger than my usual shoe size. These fit great! They are extremely soft and very comfortable. I have been looking for a flat that worked with my retro 1950's looks. These fit the bill quite nicely. I am truly pleased with my purchase and look forward to buying my second pair.

Extremely under sized, not feeling confident to order the next size up as that may not even be enough. Interesting that some reviews quote these are true to size, unless there is no consistency in their manufacturing? Sad thing is they're super cute

I read reviews for hours trying to decide which size to buy. I ended up trying my true size of 9 and they were painfully tight. I exchanged for a 91/2 but they were a bit loose and I was concerned that they would get floppy once they stretched. So I sent back the 9 1/2 and kept the 9 and I'm glad I did. They were pretty uncomfortable for the first several wears ( I wore them around the house with socks the first few times) but now they are stretched nicely and super comfy. My feet are a bit wide and I'm a true size 9 so hopefully this will help other folks with the fit. Well worth the money and the effort, great little flats!

Love these shoes. I am normally a 7.5, but when I tried them on, they were tight across the top of my foot to the point that they left a mark. I tried the size 8s, very comfortable, and visually they looked identical to the 7.5s. After wearing each around the house, the 8s ended up being a tad loose and the 7.5s ended up loosening out a bit. Overall, true to size (after a little bit of wear!). Very well made. Great purchase!

These shoes are so comfortable! Unfortunately I recently had bunion surgery and the top of the shoe rubs the scar-which is only two months old and very tender. I have to return them-maybe I will be able to buy them again in the future.

These shoes are such a disappointment, the sizing runs SO small. I bought a size 9, and they fit my daughter who wears a size 7.5 I doubt I will ever buy this brand again. Super surprised that they only recommend sizing up by .5 a size Side note, they are soft and pretty.

These flats run waaaaay small. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 in a ballet flat. The size 10 in this style is too tight on me! Thinking of ordering an 11, but may just try a different brand. The style is so cute with the squared opening, but they are just too small. :(

These are super comfortable, and super cute! Needed a new pair of shoes for a trip, one that would be comfortable enough to walk around in all day, and stylish enough to meet clients, go out to dinner, and give presentations in a formal work environment. These fit the bill perfectly. Am ordering these in other color options.

8.5 too big and 8 too small A pity because I loved the shoe

I like the look of these shoes overall; however, the sizing is pretty off - even across the same style. Different materials had totally different sizing. I initially ordered a size 9 in the nappa since my normal size is an 8.5 and they say to size up. Well, I couldn't even get my foot in flat. So, I ordered a 9.5 in the suede since the nappa in the 9.5 was sold out at the time. Those fit just fine, with a bit of room to spare. It is possible they'll be too large if they stretch to any real degree. So, I placed an order for the 9.5 in nappa when they were back in stock and still to small. Frustrating. It's a simple shoe, goes with a lot, but mercy, the sizing is a real pain in the rear. Here's wishing you better luck.

I like this shoe a lot, but even a size larger than my usual size is too short. I normally wear an 11; tried that, but WAY too short. Ordered a 12 and it is too short, too. I think the width would work if the length was right. Sad!

These are very comfortable flats with a lightly padded footbed that makes walking easy. The suede is on the thin side so I have noticed some stretching. They are true to size but if you are on the edge I would try the smaller size first.

Love the look, but WAY too small for my size 11 foot!

It was hard to evaluate these shoes because I couldn't even get them on my feet. I am a regular size 9 but these had to be a full two sizes smaller than a size 9. I thought maybe I had mis-ordered but when I checked inside the shoe it said 9. The leather seemed thin but nice. The shoe seemed wide.The style was okay.

I wear an 8.5 and I ordered an 8.5 in the black nappa leather with the understanding (expectation) that they would stretch. I don't think I have a very high tolerance for tight shoes, but I looked at a lot of pictures online before purchasing, and I liked better the way the tighter fit looked. I have had these shoes for a few months yet and have been wearing them sporadically to stretch them out. The tightest part is definitely around the edge of the shoe, mainly across the big toe area. The process has been extreeeeeemely slow going and I'm not at a point where I could wear them for a full workday. I do believe we will get there eventually and I expect to love them once we do, but it was not my experience that the stretch-to-fit/mold-to-your-foot action took only a few hours or even days. That said, I would buy another pair, in the same size, should they offer a second color that I liked. They are very understated and don't make my feet look wide like some ballet flats do, plus there is no toe cleavage. Good shoe, just know what you may be getting into.
