While these aren't orthopedic or super cushiony shoes my feet and I find them extremely comfortable. Great style, stretch nicely with my foot, but not too much. Highly recommend them. I have the suede taupe pair and dropped salad on my foot and the oily mess cleaned right up. This year I splurged for the leopard print and I'm so glad I did. I'm 50 and I always worry I'll look like Cher when she dressed up in all leopard to be Laverne on the Sonny and Cher show but these are understated and flat so I'm wearing them with EVERYTHING. I recommend you do the same.

I wanted very much to like these shoes. I tried size 7.5 and size 8. The 8 was way to big. The 7.5 did not stretch as much over several days as I hoped it would. Also, these shoes have no support. They just didn't work for me. They are very cute.

I bet this shoe would be comfortable if it fit. I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 based on other reviews. The fit was good except it was too tight across the top of my foot. The top of the shoes comes up higher on the foot so there is no "toe cleavage" - you can decide if that is a good or bad thing. The leather is very soft.

Well, I trusted you reviewer ladies and am glad I did. These shoes felt way too short and tight, but I listened to your recommendations and wore them aruond the house for a few hours (with peds on), and sure enough they stretched. They are comfortable, but not supportive. The silver ones are gorgeous. The sole is wide enough so that I don't roll over and wear out the leather on the sides.

I ordered these shoes a year and a half ago in my regular size. They felt too tight so I returned them and got a half size larger. The shoes are even more comfortable than sneakers. I feel barefoot, but with a sole. I took them on a trip to China and wore them every day, trekking around the city. I climbed the Great Wall in them. Over the last 18 months of frequent wear, they've stretched out and are now about a size too large, I can't live without them. I've ordered another pair, this time in my regular size.

These are cute and very nice quality. However, they run small. I normally wear a 7.5, and even the 8 was too small for me. Maybe they would stretch after time, but I sent them back.

I ordered these based on the sensible idea that they will stretch. They were abominably tight when I got them, but I would have persevered except that they looked really unattractive on my foot. My feet are narrow at the heel, wide-ish at the ball (but I wear medium width shoes most of the time), but the vamp of the Sloop was right across the widest part of my foot and made my feet look ridiculously wide. I have the FS "Oblige" flat in silver and will probably buy it in black since the Sloop didn't work for me.

SO small! Zappos was out of my half size up so I thought I'd be fine ordering true to size, despite the reviews. Wrong! I couldn't even get my whole foot in the shoe. The leather finish was as pictured, and the leather was thick and smooth, and the folded edge felt great against my foot. They're a great looking shoe. Too bad other sizes were sold out.

I found these to be way too small. I ordered a 10 (my usual size) and an 11 (just to be safe) and neither fit. I do have a wide-ish toe area but these shoes are not long enough.

I read a ton of reviews then... I run from 8.5 to 9. Ordered first in 8.5 toe box was absolutely squashing my toes beyond painful in black Napa. Then I reordered a 9 in black patent and they fit perfectly. The leather is deliciously soft on the inside and so hard to find these days. I will be ordering more. Note they stretched after 15 minutes for me on the vamp which was tight at first. Just like my ballet shoes in the past. These shoes are beautiful and well worth the cost for me.

I had these in black and loved them so much that when my whole suitcase was stolen while I was traveling, I bought them again as soon as I got back. They are super versatile (hence why I was traveling with them - they go with everything) and comfortable after a very short break in period during which they sort of stretch and form themselves to your feet. The leather is very nice quality, soft but without being so thin that you see clear toe outlines like with tieks. I ordered half a size up from my usual and they were perfect.

I have been searching for a simple and comfortable pair of black flat and I finally found them. These are so simple but perfect to wear to the office and walk around in without killing my feet. I have kind of wide feet and a bunion on only my left foot, which has made shoe shopping not as fun as it used to be. I normally wear a 7.5 but those were too tight so I got an 8 and that was perfect. They are stretching to accommodate my foot shape and are fitted but not tight and they also don't rub. Thank you, Zappos, for allowing me to try on almost all of your shoes to find the right pair!!

These shoes look cute, and have a leather lining, but support is terrible. I am very unhappy with this purchase.

Unfortunately disappointed. I had ordered these in my size 9. They arrived and were so pretty and soft but very tight. I returned them for a half size bigger. I'm wearing them today for the first time and 5 hours in I have to take them off. They are killing the top of my feet. I never buy expensive shoes and now I know why. The disappointment is devastating. I wanted to love these.

Such a cute shoe but there is absolutely NO padding on the footbed and the toe box is so shallow it literally smushed my big toe. I thought maybe I would just keep them and wear them around the house a few days after reading so many reviews about how they will conform to your foot but, because of the toebox issue and no foot padding, they would never have been comfortable so back they go.

Beautiful and very comfortable shoe but the light colored lining shows too much contrast.

These shoes are beautiful and extremely comfortable! I may be able to help if you're undecided on whether to order a half size larger than normal. If you're feet are on the narrow side you're probably okay to order your regular size. However, my feet are slightly wider than average. The leather is so soft that it will spread to the width of your foot and you lose some of the length. I went up a half size and they fit perfectly. They're slightly snug at the top of my foot but they stretched a little even during the short time I wore them at home yesterday. The toe area is larger and more comfortable than most ballet flats. I ordered bronze and love the color. After wearing them for a few weeks to make sure I still love them, I plan to order black as well.

Love these shoes! I ordered a half size down at first based on the reviews of others but they were uncomfortably tight, so I ordered my true size and am very happy.

Really small! Even ordering a half size up as recommended was not enough. Shoes are really cute but not available now in size needed.
