These are beautiful shoes. They are the perfect ballet flats. The black leather is soft, supple and elegant. Alas, not supple enough to fit feet, which are too wide for these lovely shoes. I have a pair in suede, which stretched quickly to fit my feet like the proverbial glove, but the leather does not seem to have as much give as the suede. My feet are medium width, so I would highly recommend these shoes for those with narrow feet. Sadly, I had to return them.

I have many foot problems. Bunions, fallen arches mainly. These shoes are soft, lovely leather and conformed to my feet. In addition they are a classic lovely style. Think Audrey Hepburn.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I love the style! The color is just what I was looking for & leather is very soft. I have Morton's Neuroma & a tailor bunion so I have to be careful about shoes. They did not aggravate my problems but they cut across the metatarsal heads to the point of being painful, esp in my first toe. I didn't think I could "break them in" with that level of pain. I'm really disappointed.

I love these shoes but I don't know how long I can wear them. I wear a 6 1/2 or 7 depending on the shoe and based on the reviews, I went with the 6 1/2. I have broken them in but the length is still 1/2 size too small. Every time I wear them,my big toe gets sore. Wish I had ordered the 7.

I love my new shoes! They a bit too wide for my foot (narrow foot) but are so cute I bought them anyway. No arch support but I love them anyway. Love Zappos for getting them to me promptly?

These are hands down my favorite flats ever. It takes a day or two with socks to break in the suede, but I am just now reordering after Six years! No toe cleavage! And they look great with leggings and a tunic, jeans and a tee, and dressy casual ensembles.

I was looking for comfortable shoes with a little thicker sole than my favorite Sam Edelman Felicia ballerinas, and had high hopes because of the many positive reviews. After reading through them, I decided to ordered my real size. When I first tried on the shoe, I could barely fit my foot into it. It gripped tight like a painful vise, not a like a soft glove. Although some reviewers suggested wearing them for a break-in period, I couldn't imagine living through the pain long enough to make this happen. I have a narrow foot, so if I sized up, this shoe would be too loose once it stretched out after wear. Unfortunately, this shoe didn't work out for me at all.

Alas, I loved these shoes but they did not fit my feet. The suede was soft to my foot but unfortunately the shoe cut into my bunions. I have a difficult finding nice shoes to fit my foot for this reason. I thought the suede might be a little more forgiving and might stretch to accommodate my bulging area but I did not want to wear them and find out they would not stretch enough. They are true to size - I wear a 10 - and bought a 10M.

Way too small, cramped. Cute look. Am returning. Love Zappos. Everything is so easy.

These are very narrow. I have wider feet but I ordered a whole size up. I couldn't even get them on. They're beautiful shoes but so narrow. I would buy them again if they came in wide.

This is a beautiful shoe - but it runs at least a full size small. Couldn't not get my foot in it and I ordered it a half size larger. I can't rate width or arch support as I couldn't try it on. Sending it back.

Wow. I've been wearing this shoe in the regular black and brown suede for a couple years. I love them; they are my go to shoe. BUT THE BRONZE METALLIC SUEDE, thought beautiful is much smaller than the other colors - at least the pair I was sent. Yes, these should be snug in the beginning - even very sung bc they do stretch to your feet, and beautifully. But the bronze metallic were painfully snug. I put one black suede (new) on one foot, bronze on other. Switched the feet... the bronze sizes smaller. Which is ridiculous...

These definitely felt "cutty" over my instep and back of ankle at first try. But, knowing how they are meant to stretch over a few wears to conform to one's feet, I have decided to brave it out with a pair of socks to buffer it. Lo and behold, after just an hour, I'm feeling a difference in the fit. They're already much more comfortable, and I'm going to wear them inside as long as I can stand today -- I'll update this review after a few more wears!

I highly recommend that you follow their recommendation of ordering a size up from your normal size. Love the shoes!

Unfortunately I didn't take the advice of many who said to order in the next size up and these didn't fit. My foot is wide at the toe and my regular size is an 8.5. I'm going to return this pair and order the 9, they look so comfy I can only hope the new pair will fit!

I am disappointed in these shoes. I've had and worn them quite a bit for about six months and they have stretched and lost any shape they ever had. They no longer fit my foot and the insole is destroyed. It should cost about one third what it does.

This is my third pair. I bought the red ones in my regular size following the advice in the review of the ballerina. They were snug at first, but then were perfect. LOVED them. Still do about 2 years later. I wear the crap out of them. These are great quality shoes! Next I bought some black ones off another etailer. They must have been fake or a bad pair because they never stretched out. Or maybe the wrong size. They felt like instruments of torture! I took a chance and bought black ones again, but this time on Zappos. Again, I purchased my regular size and did not size up. They were snug for the first hour or two and now they are fine, just like my red ones. These are my favorite shoes! They WILL be snug at first, but then they will feel like your special shoes.

Very comfortable...just like old fashion bedroom slippers. Soft inside too! Will be ordering more colors.

These really didn't fit well in my opinion. I wear a 7 in most shoes...occasionally a 7.5 and the 7 was small and then the 7.5 I tried seemed even smaller. Not sure if I just got a bad shoe or what but it was very disappointing.

These would have been great black flats, but the sizing just did not work for me. I ordered up a full size (as recommended by other reviewers) and they were huge; I ordered another pair a half size smaller than that (still a half size larger than my usual size) and they were too tight. Back they go.

I read all the reviews and so many were so positive that I ordered these shoes in two colors. I have worn them around my home for three days and they have absolutely no support and I may as well be barefoot. With my myriad foot problems, these sadly have to go back.

I should have taken other reviewers at their word. I didn't. My bad. These shoes run very small. As in, a full size small. I, too, danced, and am familiar with how ballet slippers fit. I know they are meant to stretch and conform to one's feet. But these shoes are smaller even than my smallest sized slippers. After ten minutes' wear, I remembered why I don't dance anymore: my feet are too important to me! These are lovely, and I desperately wanted a pair or five, but size 41 (which is really a size 10, not an 11) is the largest size and, well, not happening. If you order, go up at least a half size. Your feet will be grateful!

I agree with the other reviewers. The shoe starts out very tight but then molds to your feet. They are now very comfortable. I love the look and the comfort. I am usually somewhere between a 7 and 7.5. I bought a 7.5 in this shoe and it worked out well.

I read the reviews and everyone said to order your true size because they will stretch out. Well, I'm a solid 7, 7.5 if they are cute enough, so I ordered a 7. I see why everyone said they are tight across the top of the foot, which I do think will stretch with use. But, I also found them to be small/short. The tip of my toe butts the front of the shoe. Even if they stretch, it will be evident that my toe is longer than the shoes soul. Not cute. May exchange for a 7.5 & just run the risk of them getting floppy.

These are adorable flats and I really hoped they would work for me, but unfortunately they're being returned. As suggested by the manufacturer, I ordered a half-size up, but the shoes were still far too tight and it wasn't worth the cost of the shoe to see if they'd stretch out adequately. I think these would work best for those with a narrower foot and a lower arch. I have a wider foot and a higher arch, and the shoe really dug into my foot at the edge of the toe box.
