Wanted comfort in prettier package than sneakers - The shoes looked okay - a little bulky, but definitely work pants appropriate. They wore hard on the top of my feet, though, giving me a bruise and scraping skin. Strangely, they were fine width-wise, just narrow height-wise.

Love them, but they don't fit me right - This was my fourth pair of Keens. I have two different sandals and a tie-up. I love the three other pairs and was so excited to see a pair I can dress up! In addition, I recently found out one leg is shorter than the other, so I now have to wear a heel lift that inserts into the shoe and the Calistoga accommodates it easily. I ordered the same size as my other three pairs, but these feel half a size too big. I guess they have changed their sizing. As cute as they are, I ended up returning these shoes as they cut into the top of my foot as I walk. I am really bummed about this! I walked around in them several times over a three day period, but there is no way these will work for my foot. They feel awesome, like slippers, when I am standing still, but as soon as I take a step, they cut in and it is very uncomfortable. I read all of the reviews and it sounds like some people have this problem and others don't, so maybe it is the shape of my foot? Not sure. Also, they are impossible to buckle. However, I would not have returned them based on the buckling alone. I would have gladly put up with it if not for the painful fit.

Comfy, cute and hip - I'm really enjoying this as a walking, summery shoe. It looks good with jeans, shorts, and skirts, whatever. Not dressy, but certainly more girly than a sneaker and nearly as comfortable.

Excellent shoe for those with wide and flat feet - This is not a shoe for those with a high arch as the arch support is minimal. However, the insoles come out, so if you wanted to put in your own insoles or orthotics, I think this shoe would do nicely. I wish it were a little darker black in color, but overall, it's exactly as pictured. Very comfy for someone like me with a wide, flat foot. It has a roomy toe box, which I love. It's great for my everyday use, walking and biking around campus. I highly recommend, especially if you are a fan of the Mary Jane style (which I am).

Great comfort - I love this shoe! So light and comfortable; even great arch support. I love the extra feminine touch of flowers

Cute and fun - Same fit and finish as all my other Keens. This is a good business casual Mary Jane. Comfortable right out of the box and goes with pants, jeans and casual skirts.

Super cute shoe! The Calistoga is my second pair of Keens and my first pair of their maryjane style shoes. I have the green pair and they are so cute, but the instep is a little tight. I usually wear size ten, but ordered a half size up and have plenty of room from front to back. Will order the blue pair once they are in stock. Love Zappos!

Chubby feet beware - I like these shoes, I got the rum raisin color--which is just a cutesy name for brown (I was hoping they'd be a bit more interesting). My tootsies are on the wide side of medium, and since having my kids, my feet swell a bit by the end of the day and these Maryjanes--as most MJ's do--are a window to the puffiness. Not terribly so, but enough for me to notice.

Cool Shoe! I thought I'd try this style as I love the Sydney style. These are not quite as comfy, but still nice. I love the arch support and the wide toe box so my toes aren't squished. The one little annoying thing about this shoe is the buckle does not function with ease. But overall, it's cute and comfortable.

Cute and comfortable - This shoe runs a bit snug - I bought the 8, but probably should have tried a half size up. Depends upon whether you will wear with thick socks or not. Sizing with Keens seems to be very specific to the actual design. This one is not too wide and looks very cute on (they do NOT look like clown shoes as I have seen some other reviewers note about some Keen designs). There is a really cute design on the sides - it elevates the shoe beyond a gym shoe - I will definitely be wearing these out. I have the brown, which is a shade of brown that seems to work with a lot. We have a vacation coming up and I intend to take these with as my walking shoe - happy to find one that works both as a dressier shoe and as one to tag along behind the kids.

A little klutzy looking - The shoe is very comfortable, and I wear it a lot, but I wish the front of the shoe could be a little more graceful in its styling.

Love 'em! These are so-o-o comfortable...no break-in period needed. I love a shoe with good support and a wide toe-box, and this shoe has both. Plus, they are so cool looking! The only negative is the buckle, which doesn't function easily. The buckle on the Sydney style works much easier. Still, a great shoe!

Cute, but not for thin foot - These are very cute, but on a thin foot like mine, they are too big and look like clown shoes because the front is so wide and has that covered toe. I thought they looked funny, so I asked my husband what he thought. He took one look, laughed hysterically, and called me "Ronald McDonald." I returned them.

I love the look of this shoe. And it felt comfortable enough to wear right out of the box. It does squeak a lot when I walk in them. The other downside is that it causes my right sock to creep down into the shoe so wearing tights is a better idea.

Great Mary Janes BUT............ LOVE THE SHOE, my only problem is that I wear a TRUE 8 1/2 and these are definitely sized a 1/2 size larger. Another review stated that they felt 1/2 size SMALLER so I'm a little disappointed. I had to wear them out to discover this. Must wear with thick socks and an added arch support/insole, and even then they slip a little in the heel......bummer.

Too ducky for me - These are very comfortable like the reviews say and that' a great selling point but I want them to be cute too. With skinny jeans & rubber trim I felt like a duck. I've seen this brand over the years but never tried it one opting for Dr. Martens or Dansko instead. I do love all the available colors!

Very Stylish Comfort Shoe - Keen's Calistogas are the only 'comfortable shoes' that my husband actually thinks are attractive! They aren't quite as comfortable as the Keen Sydney, but they are definitely more stylish. I have several pairs of Keen shoes (love them all) and always order 1/2 size larger than normal. When I held up the Calistoga soles to the Sydney soles, the Calistoga was at least a half size larger and I had to return them and reorder in my normal shoe size. That's the joy of shopping Zappos... they make it so easy.

Impossible buckle - Really cute, comfortable, precious shoe. Unfortunately, the buckle is almost impossible to fasten and then open. In fact, I needed help getting into and out of the shoe it was so difficult and the person helping me said he had never experienced anything so ridiculous as that construction. It keeps me from wearing the shoes as often as I would like because the fight to fasten and unfasten them leaves me worn out. Other than that, I love the shoe and would order other colors. It’s very comfortable.

Great casual shoe - Love the look of these Keens. I usually wear a size 10 and I ordered a size 10. It fits well; I even have a little room to play with, but was afraid to go down to a 9 1/2. Even with the size 10, the back of my heel is a little irritated from rubbing up against the back of the shoe. I will probably keep ordering Keens, but in different styles. As far as Zappos is concerned, they are awesome. This shoe arrived at my door within 2 days!!

Review Calistoga - Quite comfortable, and Zappos even carries 5.5 size, my feet are very small. Love to shop from Zappos.

Not as comfortable as I hoped - I bought these shoes along with the Keen Lucca and Amsterdam. Unfortunately, these were the least comfortable of the three. When I walked in them, I felt that the top cut into the top of my foot at the toes. Maybe that would improve with wear as they break in, but the other two pairs were perfect right out of the box, so I'm returning these and keeping the others.

Pretty shoe - I loved the color of this Keen Calistoga Mary Jane. However, it doesn't have the padded piece across the top like the Keen Sydney and it's not quite as comfortable and flexible as the Sydney. I did lots of walking in this shoe, though, and overall it was comfortable. I received lots of compliments on the shoe, also. I have skinny feet, and none of the Keen address this issue, but the buckle helps them stay on. I'd buy them again.

Almost perfect - These shoes are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned except for the fact that the top of the left shoe cuts into my foot. The problems I usually have with shoes (no arch support, blisters on the ankle, heel pain) do not exist. If it weren't for the top edging (right below my toes) digging into my foot, it would be perfect. I keep wearing them in hopes it will stretch that part out. I guess I should have bought a size bigger or half size if it comes in half (I don't remember).

Cute but requires break-in - Very cute shoes but the first time I wore them (sockless) I got blisters on the back of my heels. I may try shoe inserts or just wear socks going forward. Overall good fit plus plenty of room in the toe box -- however they will require a break-in period.
