Very nice shoe, good fit and good support. Have problem feet and love Keen's support system, very comfortable and not a bit bad looking.

I bought the Keen Calistoga's for a 2 week trip to France. I brought 2 other pairs of non-Keen shoes, but ended up only wearing the Keen's because they were so comfy. They did require breaking in, which took about 3 days of a good amount of walking. I chose to wear them with the no-show flesh-colored thin socks that you can buy at Target. This helped to keep the shoes cooler as they are a bit warm. They worked great with a variety of outfits which is a huge plus when traveling. The only slight bummer was that it was a bit of a pain to have to buckle them on/off. I see that they make a variety that has a snap closure which would be easier. I would buy again and would buy Keens as well.

These shoes were highly recommended by multiple friends and I must agree they are a great. I live in a rural mountain community and needed something dressy with an all terrain sole and these fit the bill. They are perfect for standing and walking many long hours and accommodate my wide foot with no arch well.

Oh boy! Decisions, decisions. Have purchased both the Keen Calistogas (so cute!) and the Winthrop clog. Can't keep them both. The clog is so comfy, my feet won't let them go. The Calistoga is a bit hard in the heel opening area with a thinner, rougher edge at the instep and heel. Sizing is weird; I wear a 10, which seem big, heels slips, ordered a 9.5, way too short. Seems more like a whole size difference than a half. The 10 fits better with orthotics and socks. The clogs are super comfy, but not the kind of shoe you can wear with skirts/dresses. I'm leaning toward these shoes in the hope they'll eventually break in and be a little more comfy. Arch support's not terrific, but I do wear the orthotics with them.

Calistoga vs. Sydney II - I bought both the Calistoga and Sydney II in brown with the intention of keeping one. Looking online, I thought I'd keep the Calistoga, but ended up liking the Sydney II better in person. The comparison: 1) nice flower detail on the Calistoga; 2) the Calistoga is a little darker brown than the Sydney II, but both a nice dark brown color; 3) the Sydney II has extra padding along the top strap and the Calistoga felt stiff around the seam where the Sydney had a softer feel; 4) the Sydney II is a little narrower throughout and has a slightly smaller toe box (but still the characteristic Keen big toe). So, for me, I went with the Sydney II as it felt more comfortable out of the box.

I ordered the size 11, and my feet were swimming around in the shoes. I then ordered a 10.5, and they fit much better. Cute shoes and I am glad I can put my custom insoles in them.

Very comfortable shoes after a few days of a breaking-in period. At first I wasn't sure, but now I am thrilled that I kept them. They do run very wide, but I was able to accommodate to this by buckling the buckle relatively tightly (which I needed to do despite my high instep). These are great shoes for traveling. They are comfortable and supportive for walking, but also nice enough for situations when sneakers won't do.

This is my second pair of Keens this summer, and the footbed/comfort can't be beat (as is the case with all of their shoes, basically). The Calistoga Mary Jane's aren't QUITE as comfortable as my other Keen shoes, though, only because the upper is more rigid (the heel area is actually rather hard, when compared to many other Keens which have elasticized-type material around the heel). Thus, these take some breaking-in, but once your feet are used to them, they're great. And again, you can't beat the comfort/support of the footbed. They're versatile, too, you can wear them with skirts/sundresses, shorts, jeans, you name it. In other words, you'll get your money's worth.

I bought these as a walking shoe for a trip to London. I bought an 8.5 but should probably have gone up a half size to 9 because my toes always felt a little smashed. My feet are narrow so I was afraid of the shoe being too big but I think with the adjustable ankle strap that would have make them fit ok in a larger size. My normal dress size is 8.5. For walking these were a very comfortable shoe, I never got back to the hotel at night with aching feet. I did have hot spot/blister issues on the heel of one shoe but once again could've probably resolved that if I'd gone up a half size. They were very stylish, not too clunky. They were the only shoe I brought. I wore them on the plane with a skirt and all around London with black pants and never felt awkward.

Cute, but a bit floppy -
Really cute shoes. They have lots of personality. I followed the sizing suggestions of the other reviews and got the right size the first time. The toe area of the shoe is really big, so it has an overall feel of a "floppy" shoe. Almost no arch support, so they really will require an insert for all day comfort. However, I've been wearing with no socks and so far, so good. Just wish they had better support.

These shoes were a little too outdoorsy-looking for me. They looked cute in the photo, but the black sole comes up too far on the toe and makes the shoe look more rugged. Very comfortable though; I had to order a half size up.

Love the shoes. Cute and casual and sure to go well with hand knitted socks! They are fairly wide for my slightly narrow feet, but comfortable none the less. I did expect more arch support given the reviews I have read for Keens. I will probably beef mine up a bit with inserts.

I originally ordered a paid of Keen Portland Mary Janes and loved them, but they were too short, despite ordering up 1/2 size. Unfortunately, I can’t find the Portland anywhere online, so I ordered these instead. I was hesitant to order them due to some comments in reviews, but since Zappos has free shipping both ways, I didn’t have anything to lose. I was amazed that they showed up less than 24 hours after I ordered them. Zappos aims to please. I am a large, tall woman with feet to match. I normally wear a 10, so ordered these in an 11, due to the Portlands being too short. That was the right call. They are wider and a little sloppy, so I put in an insole, which is fine, and since I have some custom orthotics I use when plantar fasciitis flares up, it’s good that there’s some extra room in them. They do not look ridiculous on my feet or like "clown shoes" as some reviews have said. LOL! They are very cute, although a bit too wide. I do have narrow feet, but they swell due to autoimmune arthritis, so it’s good that I can adjust the buckle and that there’s some extra room. They have good arch support and would be fine for someone with plantar fasciitis. They are nice and lightweight, they are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I still want to find the Portlands in an 11 though. They fit better.

Cute -
These were cute but not as supportive as I thought. I also was not very fond of the blue color as it matched my jeans. I normally wear a 7 and the 7 fit fine.

Nice shoe -
I love Keen shoes. The Calistoga looks really nice. It has a different feel than my other Keens. It is larger- order your true size. Usually, I have to order one size up. I have now had these shoes for 1 month. These are taking a bit longer to break in than my other Keens. I gave it 4 stars because I like other styles of Keen better in terms of comfort. Compared to all of the shoes out there in the world, however, these are very nice and comfortable shoes.

My Red Keen Shoes -
I have arch support issues with my left foot. I need to take all the pressure off the ball of my foot. With my Keen shoes I still need to add more support. Also, the left shoe arrived with scuff marks in the big toe area I buffed it out, but for the price I paid for the shoes I was expecting them to arrive blemish free.

Cute but...
This is a VERY wide shoe. The length fit better that the other Keen shoe that I tried but these were even wider, even with socks.

Great comfort, cute style -
I bought these over a year ago when I couldn't wear any other shoes because of a foot condition (plantar fasciitis) and they saved me. Great walking around shoes, cute for casual workplace. Also good for wider feet. My only complaint is the insole deteriorated before the shoe (lots of barefoot wear) and I can't find replacement insoles.

Very comfortable but a tad larger than I expected. I would buy Keen again in a heartbeat. I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day and even wearing them on the second day in the hospital, no blisters and my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. They are very easy to kick off and on as well.

Only one problem -
The back of the shoes hurt my heels. I just went and bought a pair of inserts, to lift up my foot, it helped. Very comfortable. Also, I live it Minnesota, lots of slippery ice, and the traction is great.

I think these shoes are very cute and they are very comfortable. I like the versatility of being able to wear them in a casual setting and they also have the durability of a trail shoe! I do find them wider than I normally would get, but I think that's a minor factor with the overall performance. Comfort is of ultimate importance to me!

I have this shoe in rum raisin and in flamingo (light coral). The shoe is solidly made and very comfortable. I find Keens run about 1/2 size smaller than my other shoes. I generally wear an 8 and usually buy my Keens in 8.5. This is my 6th pair of Keens. The arch support is not as good as in the Sydney and doesn't have "toe grips" but still is very comfortable with or without socks. I like to wear bear feet in them. I would highly recommend this shoe. It has a nice look with skirts or capris. I've had 1/2 knee replacement, and Keens are very good for my knee.
