I purchased these for my 11 year old son. He has been a fan of the Targhee since he was a little kid. He loves them and prefers to wear his Targhee's over sneakers. They are extremely comfortable and waterproof, as well. Keen rocks!

These shoes are one of the most comfortable, sturdy shoes I have ever owned. They provide great support for my feet, whereas most other shoes I need custom insoles. These are water proof, yet they don\'t let my feet sweat too much. These shoes run big, so you have to wear the thicker hiking socks with them. I own this and the mid-top keen targhee.

Awesome shoes, a gift from my wife. I have trekked through the water and rocks of Carolina mountains to the Olympia trails in WA in the Targhee II. No blisters, no discomfort, no problems. These are one of Keen's best.

This latest purchase has been my third one for Keen Targhee II shoes. I chose this Keen shoe because of Keen's large toe box. Once I break them in, they're comfortable. Seam behind the heel separates and eats away at my socks, prematurely putting a hole in my socks. Drives me nuts. I place a large patch of "mole skin" back there, but it's disappointing that I have to do that. And I've had to do that with every pair that I've bought. Also, the sole wears out faster than I think it should. Yes, I'd buy this shoe again, but only because I don't want to research and select a different shoe all over again.

I really wanted to like this shoe. It\'s very close to the perfect lightweight hiking shoe, and I\'ve owned many. However, at least for my feet, the sizing is all wrong. I typically wear a 13 to 13 1\/2, but occasionally buy 14s because I have high arches and wide feet. I purchased 14s, and they weren\'t close. I\'ll likely return for a 15 to see if that works, which would make it the first pair of 15s I\'ve ever owned.\r\n\r\nThe only major issue unlikely to be resolved with a larger shoe is the complete lack of arch support. Different brands have different arch standards, but given the reviews here, I expected at least some. There was none.

Look great, fit great, bought 1/2 size bigger than normal. Wear 10/12 bought 11.

My feet are rather narrow, so I\'d really prefer a narrower boot. I don\'t think Keen really understands narrow feet. It\'s hard to tie them tight enough so they don\'t slop around, but loose enough so that they don\'t hurt.\r\n\r\nOn the other hand, they are reasonably comfortable, they seem to be well made, and I like the way they look.

hope a keen rep reads these posts! Keen, please take heed: because you don't make a 12.5, and because all of your footwear runs a half size small, you are alienating everyone who is a true size 12, myself included. every model I've tried, the 12 is too small, and the 13 is too big and causes heel slippage. Size 12 is such a common size among men, and I know dozens of people who cannot wear your shoes because of this sizing issue. Please, consider making a 12.5, or begin making your shoes more true to size. You are missing out on a huge portion of the male population who would like to wear your shoes!

I have purchased these shoes before and for me they hold up very well. I wear a size 12. If you have never purchased a pair of Keens before it would be best to get your foot measured first as the sizes may differ a little. Quality though they are really good no problems, they hold up very well. I just completed the Yonah Mountain trail and they were very comfortable.

Tried them on and sent them back. They were too wide for my feet and I didn't like the lacing system.

I work construction so I am always looking for a good shoe. I have not come across a better one yet for 4 straight years. My foot is narrow and was not certain they would fit well because they look a bit wide. Once I put them on I never took them off.

The shoes are comfortable and are another great addition to the Keen line of shoes. The color depicted on the website is much darker than in real life.

Runs small, no 12-1\/2 available. My third pair of Keens, and I haven\'t been impressed with any of them. So much for trying to be trendy.

My husband needed to replace his Merrell's, which lasted forever, and I decided to try Keens. Very happy to have made the switch. He reports that these are more comfortable and I think they are more stylish. He hasn't worn them hiking, but they are his everyday shoe and frequently wears them to work (1.2 mile walk). Try the Black Olive/Jester combo. Will definitely buy this shoe again!

I've had two pairs of these. The first was an 11, when they wore out I figured I'd buy an 11 again. No dice. They didn't fit, way too small. I then got the 11.5, still not deal. They didn't fit either! I ended up getting a 12 which fit great (when I normally take an 11 shoe). When my 12's wore out, I went on Zappos and got a 12. They didn't fit, too big as massive heel slippage. So I returned those and ordered the 11.5, and even though they fit, I still had heel slippage, even with them as tight as they could go to the point where it was uncomfortably tight. I'm bummed because I love these shoes, but it seems like their sizes are all over the board. I'm going Merrell instead.

Purchased these for my significant other who is a roadie and walks at least 15 miles per day on the job. He loves them very much! Thanks Zappos for the prompt delivery as we have a busy travel schedule.

This is my 4 the pair of Keen Targhee II. They are exceedingly comfortable. I use them for exercise, day hikes and a casual shoe on weekends. The bottoms wear out easier then I would like but the comfort is 4+.

I've hiked about 100 miles in these shoes and absolutely love them! Lightweight and comfortable on hikes of 4 to 5 hours (maybe longer, I don't know). Great arch support. These shoes have excellent grip on all surfaces. Definitely order 1/2 size larger.

Great shoes! Super comfortable and durable. Offer great support and felt great on my first hike. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone doing day hiking. Keep in mind that they are shoes, not boots - so they are not designed to offer ankle support if that\'s what you are looking for.

This is the only shoe that I have found to be waterproof for longer than a week. I work at a golf course; every morning is spent walking through wet grass. The waterproofing on these Keens are far superior to any other brand that I have bought in the past.

Love these shoes. I bought a pair 18 months ago and wore them down to the ground. I was thrilled to see them on Zappos so I bought another pair. I even considered buying a third and keeping them as a spare. They pretty much go with everything, and they\'re unbelievably comfortable. I wear them to work. I wear them hiking. I wear them for working outside. You could say I pretty much live in them. These shoes run a half size small, so I order a half size larger for a perfect fit.

The Targhee II is my second pair of Keen light hikers. The Voyager was super, but didn't have the waterproof membrane the Targhee does. Very comfortable, sturdy and great traction. Keens are winners.

My husband loves these hikers. He's a big guy and very active. These shoes are up to the daily challenge. One day while changing the bucket on his Bobcat equipment, the bucket fell on his foot. If he hadn't been wearing these shoes, he would have broken his foot. They offer great support and protection.

These Keen shoes are not serious hiking shoes - at least for my feet. There is a vertical seam sewn inside the toe cap that makes the second toe on my right foot VERY SORE. I will be disposing of these shoes. They also run VERY small - probably more like a full size than the half size indicated by Zappos. I have worn them so cannot return them, but have come to the conclusion that I have to buy new shoes.
