Very comfortable and durable shoe, I wear them for landscaping and stays dry and wet every day. Zappos was very great to work with and shoes arrived very quickly.

This is my 2nd pair of Keen Targhee II's, I'm still wearing my other pair just needed another color. I have 6 or 7 pairs of other keen styles, I need a shoe with a wider toe box than most. Keen's are the most comfortable footwear I have found right out of the box.

I love them! I have been bummed that Keen does not make wide width women's shoes and only go down to a 7 in men's. Thanks to very helpful reviews at Zappos telling me the men's run half a size small I figured it was worth a try. My hiking feet are so happy that I did.

Shoe feels very puffy. My heel slips out when I walk. The size fit larger than other shoes of the same size.

I first purchased around 2003, and have been wearing them since. I still have the origional that I use during the summer months trekking through water while I fish.

These shoes were purchased for my husband. He absolutely loves them because of the strong stability and great arch support. Plus Zappos was the only store that had the size he needed, size 14. Thanks Zappos, this is the best place to purchase anything!

Just received my 4th pair of these shoes, they are so comfortable. As others have written, order up 1/2 a size. Also, tie a not in each side of the lace right below the second strap. This will keep the toe box from smashing over time. The wide toe box is nice as it is hard to find shoes for wide feet. Excellent shoe right out of the box. I tend to get 1 year out of a pair before the sole is worn out.

This is the second pair of Keen Targhee that I have purchased and they are the best walking shoes I have ever owned. The first pair lasted almost two years with almost daily usage. As others noted, I ordered a half size larger and they fit perfectly. Moreover, Zappos continues to provide solid service on delivery and returns that I have had with other shoes purchased.

I ordered these hiking boots for my husband because he loves Keens. They are super comfortable for hiking and also great as an everyday shoe. He loves them and I will definitely order Keens from Zappos again! The shipping was free and they got here the next day. The other reviews said they run a half a size small so because he wears a 10 1/2, I ordered an 11 and it fits perfect! Thank you Zappos!

Great shoe - extremely comfortable, great fit, terrific traction. I have a weak right leg (two back surgeries, atrophied calf, etc.) and really require a strong foundation for walking. This shoe is fantastic at providing that for me.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me but the heel refused to stay in place. Every step I took had my heel slipping right out of the shoe. Most likely, I probably just have a weird heel. Too bad because I could tell these shoes were just ready for stomping and begging to be worked. So, I guess as long as you don't have a heel prone to slipping, these would be great shoes. Oh yeah, I also found that ordering a half size larger didn't work for me either. My original size was the best choice for me.

I have always been a Merrell guy, but lots of people have told me that Keen's are really comfortable. I ordered these from Zappos, and while they are really comfortable, they just don't fit my foot. I am a 15 wide, and these seemed wide enough, but my heel just kept slipping out when I walked. I wish it fit well, because it seemed very comfortable. Thank goodness for Zappos great return policy!

Great shoe. Very comfortable for walking long distances. Waterproof. Would highly recommend this shoe.

This is a great all around outdoor shoe. I bought my first pair 4 years ago to hike the Kalalau trail in Hawaii. They kept my feet dry in the wet muddy terrain and gave no blisters over the 22 mile hike. I'm now on my third pair and have use them as approach shoes on Rainier, Tetons, Gannett, and countless 14ers and backpack trips. I will likely keep buying them until Keen stops making them.

A great walking shoe. I weigh about 300 pounds, so I'm kind of hard on shoes and very picky. I've had a pair of these already, and I bought them again. I've tried a lot of Keens and these are as good a walking shoe as they make.

The tongue area of the shoe was very uncomfortable, actually cut into my foot. The shoe is very stiff and unforgiving.

Ancient coral reef is hard and sharp. A rough walking surface for any walker and his shoes. Add to that the salt water and coarse sand of the east china sea and you have an idea of what my Keen shoes go through daily. It's not just the natural environment working on my knees and shoes I also walk on concrete and asphalt for several miles each day, usually up hill or down hill. Frequently in shallow water and then on surfaces that are hot to the touch. I live and walk in Okinawa Japan, where the locals wear shields over their faces and completely cover their skin to protect themselves from the hot sun and wind. What do all of these hot, wet, and rough surfaces do to a shoe? It wears them out, fast. I have been through a lot of shoes logging well over 4,000 miles a year walking. I've been wearing Keen shoes for years, they last. I occasionally, at the recommendation of another walker try a different shoe, they don't work. For comfort, durability, stability, and value I haven't found a better shoe than the Keen Targhee II. And there's certainly no better place to get them than Zappos. So, when you get ready for a seriously good shoe and outstanding service, order yourself a pair of Keen shoes from Zappos, you won't regret it. Stan Kemp

Love these hikers. One of the best out there in terms of comfort, lightness, and waterproofing. For longer hiking I would probably go for the mid to gain leverage and keep strain off the fore foot and toes. Recently noticed that Outside Magazine rated them top gear in hikers. Felt a little larger (1/2 size) than marked, but kept them to make room for thicker socks...good luck!

These are best shoes I have worn. For years I was plagued by foot problems - it all ended when I started wearing Keen shoes.

These shoes are pretty gnarly, in a good way. A little pricey for my budget, but I had some outdoor functions scheduled and needed a good pair of hikers and a friend of mine suggested Keens. I am very happy with them so far.

This is a great shoe, very comfortable. The only weird thing is that there is a sort of webbing attaching the tongue to the rest of the shoe and once it comes out it doesn't seem to have a place to go back. This makes the tongue bulge out a little and it a little looks odd. Pretty minor and I'd still recommend these.

The service was simple and efficient. I received the shoes within a few days. And, they were the shoes I ordered and in the correct size.

After trying out several of the new Keen models I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of Keen. Snug in the midfoot, loose in the heel - guarantees no heel friction/blisters! After a few wears, the soles provide nice traction. Waterproofing is excellent for the winter.

I am a little frustrated. I have two other pairs of the same shoe only they are a few years old and lasted very well and fit extremely well. Only I can't find a pair to fit. The 10.5 are too small and the 11 are too big.
