Great boot but in my case it ran small. Normally wear size 11 with socks but had to re-order 12's. Love the 12's!

My husband loves these shoes. He uses them for work. He is on his feet all day long , at least 10 hours. Great support.

i got one size larger for hiking the john Muir trail. I have sensitive feet and these are the only boots that feel like a dream. they come ready to role on long hikes. light weight and water proof. going for my second pair. cant go wrong with this selection.

These are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of footwear I have ever owned. I bought them with the intent of using them when I go shooting as you need something like a hiking boot with good traction and these fit the bill. I have use them to run through dust, gravel, dirt, sand, grass, hell I wore them in a snow field in Iceland; they are so amazingly comfortable and light I forget I'm wearing them. I wish all my other shoes fit like these did.

First off, make sure to heed the advice of others & buy one half size up. I did, and they fit nicely, with room for a heavier weight sock. Unfortunately my grand plans for a hiking trip were put on hold, so my boots have not yet hit the trails. However, I was dying to try these out and have taken several 3 mile walks on flat land. I found them to be very flexible, light weight, comfortable and cushiony. Yes-they are also waterproof. If you're a Keen fan, you know you can't go wrong with these.

Bought these Men's Keen Targhee II Mid boots to replace the same exact model (slightly different color, though) that I've worn for over 2 years now. Perfect for motorcycling, hiking, and just all-around town shoes. Extremely comfortable and durable that's saying something since my feet are oddly shaped and it's very tough to find shoes that fit and feel good -- and these actually feel great! Not only that, I am over 250 pounds, and I usually go through shoes very quickly. Not these. These last and that's even after hiking them through mountainous terrain multiple times. You won't be sorry if you go with Keen, and I especially like this model.

Tried the Merrell Moab's first. Wore them around the house for several days and they hurt my toes despite their high ratings. So I thought I'd try these Keen's. These are very comfortable, good arch and ankle support, and I can wiggle my toes. Looking forward to my hike soon. I also think they are much more attractive than the Moab's. I got the gargoyle/burnt henna. They look black in the picture but actually more of a steel grey. I like them better this way but just FYI. Zappo's is great. Ordered these Saturday evening and they were on my doorstep Monday. Thanks!

Great shoes! I got these for snowshoeing and they worked perfectly. These shows are light and kept dry after walking in 6+ inches of a running stream with gaiters on.

I bought these for my husband to wear when cold, moderate snow or rainy and he loves them. I think the walnut looks great with khakis or jeans - rugged but a nice casual. I also bought a half-size larger as suggested by the reviews and it fit perfectly. I think it was a great purchase and Zappos is great with delivery and product.

My husband and I both wear these Keen Targhee 11 Mid and think they are wonderful. Our feet stay dry and warm with great support. Now my walking buddies are wearing them also.

So far I have worn the shoes about ten days since bought. The shoes were comfortable right off the bat. They offer excellent support and keep your feet warm even in thirteen degree temps.

These are the second pair of Targhees that I've owned, and I love them. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They fit great, they look good, and they're a good general purpose shoe for fall and winter. The fact that they're waterproof is a bonus too.

I bought these for my husband shortly before a vacation. He needed comfortable, waterproof hiking boots. These were outstanding in terms of comfort. We have gone out of our way to try to test the waterproof claim of these boots, but every time he steps out into the rain with these on, the rain stops - perhaps this is a feature of the boots? These boots have been worn almost continuously for about a month now and they look new. These get high points on comfort and durability.

I purchased this shoe/boot for my father-in-law for the holidays and they were an instant hit. He wears a size 15, and as you can imagine, finding a good looking and fitting shoe in his size is hard to come by. He said these are his new favorites and would recommend them to everyone! Outperformed my Colorado boots very quickly. They are far superior in their grip in differing conditions. Overall, I am extremely happy with these boots.

Right out of the box, these boots are great! Only took one wearing to break in, now they are as comfortable as if a year old! Ordered a half size larger than normal as advised by other customers, and the fit was right on. Highly recommend these!

I love this boot. I tried on many different brands and styles of hiking boots and shoes and ultimately like the Keen Targhee II Mid the best. I read a lot of reviews of different hiking boots and this one was consistently rated high. Definitely buy a half size larger. I tried the 6.5 for a few weeks in the house but they were a bit snug, especially after you've been walking in them for a few hours. A size 7 fit great. I don't wear thick socks and I don't wear a liner and even so, I liked the half size larger best. The boots required no breaking in period. First time out was a 4 hour/6.5 mile hike in the mountains and they were great. I definitely recommend this hiking boot!

I loved these as soon as I put them on. They are lightweight and the foot bed has lots of room. There is incredible arch support which could feel tight in the middle to some people but you will be glad for it, believe me. The laces sort of snap in to the upper catches which hold them while you tie. The laces also have sort of a loose jacket over a textured core and I find that I do not have to double knot them since they do not come loose. I really like the wrap around sole and have never hurt my toes while wearing these. On the negative side, these shoes are not too good at keeping the water out when fording even shallow creeks or puddles and my feet get quite stinky by the end of the day. I am used to a pair of leather Danners with which I could get away with wearing the same socks for a week without the stinks. I think it is the leather that makes the difference. These are great shoes for the money, lightweight, great support and very good fit and finish. I would buy these shoes again and would love to see a full grain one piece leather upper with this sole.

It was a stretch to get these boots without trying them on first. However, because it was with Zappos, there was no worry. The boots are super comfortable, light, and they have great support around my whole foot.

I bought these boots one week before a three week camping trip in Costa Rica. Absolute perfect fit (I got a half size larger as recommended), no break-in time required. It exceeded all of my expectations and surprisingly was not as hot as I imagined. Do not discount this as a winter boot - it is definitely all year \/ all weather proof. If I had one complaint, it would be that the toe area was rather large, which was disconcerting at first, but not an issue as I adapted to the feel.
