Second Year I am buying these boots. They are fantastic. I use them for work I do carpentry, play, light hikes, yard work, etc. They are made well and are extremely comfortable. I ordered the boots 8:00am Thursday and had them by 2:00pm Friday. Thank you Zappos!

I think that these are the most comfortable shoes/boots that I have ever had. I work in the film business and spend 12 to 16 hours a day on my feet in all sorts of terrain like concrete floors, dirt paths, etc. I have found that this model is amazing! I would highly recommend them, although they do wear out faster then other shoes. I am on my 3rd pair. I do use orthotic inserts in them as well.

Great shoe! I hike and was surprised there is no breaking-in period and no blisters. My biggest concern was the hot, humid weather in the Low Lands of SC and the fact that the boots have a water proof membrane. I have had Gore Tex boots before and because of my hot feet, found them almost unbearable. The Keen is quite different. It's very comfortable even on hot, muggy days.

I pulled my new Keens out of the box and put them right on. Took a little stroll around the house, ended up outside, then before I knew it, I was halfway around the block. These are now my new favorite shoes. I wear size 15 sneakers. I'm really a very large 14, but my wide toe set makes any 14 way too tight. 15's come in a little loose. The Keens fit like they were made by my own personal cobbler. Wide enough at the toes, just the right length, and not sloppy in the heel. The arch support is amazing.

I needed a new pair of sneakers and didn't like any of the styles. I have a pair of Keen sandals that I love. It gave me the idea to look at the Keen line. I read a few reviews and went for it. It's the best move ever. Great looking, well made. Super comfort and support. The fit is as good as it gets. Just go a 1/2 size bigger. I normally wear 10 1/2's I ordered 11's my wife liked them so much she order a pair for herself!

These boots are awesome. With the wide toe box that this product has my tootsies have a lot of space to move around in. The way the lacing system is designed the only eyelet that you have to undo is the first one after that the shoes just fall right off (that is a good thing). I don\'t know if they are a half a pound each or a full pound each but they do feel a little weighty at times, but after a while you forget about that.

Awesome shoes. Very good construction. Extremely comfortable out of the box. These are my second pair from Zappos. Your feet feel cool - it breathes; yet keeping your feet dry when raining, and protected from the elements. Yes, buy them a 1/2 size bigger. I recommend these shoes for the outdoors, hiking, even walking. I love them.

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever purchased. No breaking required. It cushions your foot amazingly, and feels very secured. I went hiking in the wilderness, it rained on us, and my feet remained dry all the time. I even wear them when I go to work when I am on my feet all day. My feet do not feel tired by the end of the day. Amazing shoes, excellent construction. And yes, buy them a 1/2 size bigger for a better fit.

This shoe is very, very comfortable. It is water proof but not hot. Seems to breathe well. The toe box is wide and the shoe is over all short. It is perfect for my feet but may be so for everyone. The arch support seems to be perfectly comfortable. I feel like i could walk a hundred miles in them. Also this shoe comes on and off real easy. I don't even have to unlace them to put my feet in them. They just slide in. Do yourself a big favor and check these out!

I purchased these for their waterproofing abilities and wide toe box as I have flat feet. These are excellent boots and offer true waterproofing with fully gusseted tongue. I hike every week at a Turnbull National Reserve and these boots hold up perfectly. Got them wet to the ankle and no water touched my feet. Couple these with some gators and your assured to be bone dry! No break in time for me with these and the speed laces and locking top lace tab is a nice feature. I will certainly recommend these to anyone in need of wide toe box, wear out of the box, mid boot for waterproof needs or just hiking in general. I have worn these in temps of 70+ and felt very comfortable and not too hot.

I am a female who normally wears an 8 or 8 1\/2 wide in a woman\'s shoe. As these Keen Targhee II Mid\'s are not offered in a woman\'s wide, I ordered a men\'s 7 D. The fit is quite good and I\'m impressed with the well cushioned interior. Because of the width of my foot, I find using an average weight Smart wool sock works best. The boots are comfortable and very lightweight. The tread offers great traction. Haven\'t had the opportunity to see if they are waterproof yet. The negatives are minor, but I find it a little difficult to lace up so that my heel is kept snug without making it too tight over the top of my foot. And, I\'m wondering if the ankle support would be even better if the boots were a wee bit taller, with maybe one more pair of speed hooks. But, all in all, these are the best fitting and most comfortable boots I\'ve found.

Very comfortable boot from the second I tried them on. Feels like they are built quite well. I bought them for a trip to Colorado and to deal with the winters in KC. So far they have kept my feet warm and comfortable.

These are THE BEST pair of boots I ever had. Took them to a day hike right out of the box and never had any problems. Very comfortable and very light, like all other KEENs I have. Excellent arch and ankle support. Just get them half a size larger then you normally would.

These were the second pair of Targhee II I’ve bought and 4th pair of Keens brand. I work on my feet for 10-12 hrs a day on concrete and you won’t go wrong with the Keen boots. The waterproofing is very reliable and the boots are good on weekend camping and hiking trips. If you have really flat feet as I do, add an orthotic insert under boots insert and you’ll be on your feet all day with no discomfort. The sole will last you about a year if worn all the time, but I work on rough concrete so maybe longer for other people. Highly recommend this boot to anyone!

As always delivery was in about a day. Shoes went to work for me right out of the box. Comfort was good. Ankle support very good. Little hooks for snapping the uppermost shoe strings really hold them in place. This is a unique idea and it works. There is ample room in the toe area. I have recently started checking out ot her Keen products. They are very good and appear durable. So far I'm quite pleased with them.

I bought these shoes for Vancouver Island. One of the 2 best shoes I ever bought. I have a long foot, average width in the middle but a narrow heel. I don't like it tight around the toes. I wear a size 14 and needed a 15 in this shoe. Light, tight and comfortable. Dry. I love the way the laces lock in to clips at the top. That allows you to maintain the perfect tightness as you tie the knot.

I have worn Rockport hiking boots before, which were comfortable, and Doc Marten boots, which looked better than they felt, but nothing I have ever worn has felt as good as these on my feet. As soon as I put my feet in these boots, it was like entering a well-formed extra-firm pillow-padded cast specifically for my foot. The support in these boots is unlike any I have felt before. There is no doubt I will be buying Keens for a while.

Great shoes - absolutely no break in was needed for these. They are warm, very comfortable, with good ankle support. I wore them in rain/snow and my feed stayed dry/warm.

I bought these boots about 1 month ago. They seem durable and are very comfortable. Some complain about the laces length, but if you are actually using the boot for hiking or working and pull the laces tight as expected, the length is just fine. Good boot overall. Sometimes they can make your feet a little warm when indoors. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say.

Love the boots. I bought these boots because I needed something waterproof that I could wear for a couple of days in the snow on a ski trip. Not much use for snow boots here in Vegas! These boots were great. Dry, good traction, comfortable fit. I expect to get as attached to these as I am to my Keen Newport sandals.

I like my new boots very much. This is my 2nd pair of Keens (the other a pair or walking tie shoes). This is what I like about my new boots: lightweight, great (fast and easy to get tight) lacing, roomy toe box, good arch support, nice workmanship, pleasing materials and color, sure-grip sole, and that my ice cleats don’t fall off. I wear my boots daily when at home, no matter what the weather, walking 3-6 miles. What that means for me so far is wearing them in the cold, with lots of snow and ice. I look forward to using them in other climates and conditions and on longer hikes. I appreciate that Zappos gave me the heads up to order a half size up. My usual size would definitely have been too small.

These are great shoes. I got them for my husband for Christmas. They are roomy in the toe box, but run a little small in length so a half size up is the way to go. I did return for a larger size and returns are as easy as dropping the box at UPS or the Post Office. You should shop here too, and you’ll be glad you did.
