I wear a size 17 and I was glad that I did not order half a size up because they fit perfectly on my feet. I bought these just for hiking but they are so comfortable I wear them all the time. If they ever wear out I will get another pair.

I bought these for my 6' 5" 300lb son. He had another pair for about a year and a half. He loves me way they feel. The fact that they've held up without wearing out speaks well for them since he doesn't drive but walks everywhere.

Purchased for my 10-year-old son, who is very picky about what he wears. He hasn't stopped wearing them which says a lot.

Got these in both my size and a size larger. Larger was much better. My size was cramped in the toe box. Very comfortable so far and handling winter hiking abuse as well.

I have a low cut version of the same shoe (not sure of the model name) that are well ventilated and not waterproof. They are terrific. I wanted something more protective in the winter for walking. It was a pretty safe bet that the size would be the same for the boot version. I put an insert for arch support in all my shoes and boots. I tested them a little around the house, one day and then went for an hour and a half walk with temperatures in the teens and gusty winds. The walk included equal amounts of pavement and boggy woods. Perfect!

Fantastic boot! I've been wearing this boot for about 2 weeks now and it has become my favorite! It's a great all-purpose shoe- comfortable, warm, and presumably waterproof (I've only been in puddles an inch deep and my feet stayed dry!) Only time will tell how the boot holds up but at the 2 week mark I have happy feet!

My husband has a pair of these and he wears them to work every day. He walks, rides his bike, and is on his feet most of the day so they need to be comfortable. He never felt like he had to break them in. The tread is worn down after a year so it was time for a new pair. Thanks, Zappos, for the fast shipping so he can start the new semester with new shoes!

Keen has never disappointed me. I have big feet...a little wide as well. These boots gave me the support and comfort that I love, and expect in Keen footwear. Please know that Stars people fill in are related to their feet. So if you're like me with a slightly wider foot than most and tend to be on the larger end of a shoe size Keens are for you. So I will give five stars for every aspect of the rating because for me...they are great!

I love Keen Targhee II mids. I wear size 16 and Zappos has been my only reliable source. Width, comfort, and durability are excellent for these shoes. This has been my fourth pair, in fact I bought them to have when the pair I am wearing now wears out.

Great boots. Very comfortable with no real "break in" time. I have hiked local, very rocky trails in these for miles and I am quite happy with them. Good support, but also good flex in the sole when needed. Heed the recommendations to buy 1/2 to one size larger.... I looked at these based upon both my wife and daughter being happy with their Keen boots.

Bought these for my husband. True to size, comfortable and all around good boot. Great in the snow or for just kicking back.

The shoes arrive on time. Zappos has a great customer service and after my husband finally got the shoes that fit (he needs wide shoes) which took several shoes which that is why the customer service were always polite and helpful I highly recommend these shoes and great service. This is the 2nd pair of Keen hiking boots I have owned, wearing out the first pair after 6 years. As the original, these are comfortable, made well, and fit perfectly out of the box. If you are interested in a boot that is stylish and comfortable, don't pass these up.

These shoes were comfortable out of the box. We did a short 3 mile hike in East Tennessee the first time I put them on. Looking forward to making longer treks. Will need a separate pair of shoes for hotter weather. These will be a little hot for summer treks. Love these shoes.

I really like this boot. The arch support is very good. The boots are light and comfortable. The top/last eyelet that the laces go through lock the lace down once you pull them tight. Although, I don't have any problems tying my shoes it might help someone with hand strength issues.

I have worn this boot and found it to be all that I expected. I wear a steel toe Keen at work everyday and wanted to try this non-steel toe boot. It's light, comfortable, and looks good. I do recommend this boot.

Great boots. Strong, light weight, and comfortable. They lasted me over a year. I wear them very day, working on a golf course. The are wet every morning, and kept my feet nice and dry. I just bought my second pair. For everyday use, they should last you a long time.

I have just ordered a back-up pair of these boots since the first pair continue to be the most comfortable of many best-brand (and much higher priced) pairs I have owned over the last 50 years. These Keens are the only boot that does not cause toe pain (a peculiarity of my foot obviously) that almost made me give up hiking on several occasions. My wife and I hiked across England last September - both in a pair of Keens - with no foot problems. I use them daily now in trail-building and other outdoor work. Since they have become "work-boots" I have placed an order for a new pair to reserve for hiking and pleasure walking.

These are amazing hiking shoes! I wear them literally every day and have lasted 2 years until they met their untimely demise because of my dog! I guess he liked them too. I ordered a second pair and was hoping to alternate them. They have a nice wide toe box. I ordered the men's and they fit perfect sized respectively of course. They seem to run true to size or even on the larder side. Great for support and traction. Not super light but not too heavy or clunky either. Love my Keens! I did put some squishy insole in as I do with all my shoes.

Just received these, my 4th pair of the Targhee II Wide just as the soles of pair #3 have gone well past the wear bar. They fit like they were custom designed for my duck feet. I hope they never stop making these because, for the money, they are the best shoe for fit and comfort I've ever worn. I want comfort and I'm willing to pay for it (I've 6 pair of different Mephisto shoes in my closet) but for the money these are just a good, but not as dressy. I wear them hard in Colorado, in snow, in mud, rain and on trails. Considering "stocking up" on another pair just in case some idiot decides to change them.

I put about 40 miles on these during my Smoky Mountains trip and they held up great. We had light rain and my feet stayed dry the entire time. Paired with wool socks, the boots were very comfortable and rugged. Originally, I tried a pair of Merrell's but they felt very heavy compared to the Keen.

Bought these for my Husband and is very happy with them. Per another reviewer went up a half size and they were a perfect fit. Well constructed. As usual great Zappos service!

This boot, and the Merrell Moab Ventilator were the only two boots that were truly Wide when they said they were. Other brands seem to be way off the mark in the width department. I liked the Merrell just as much, and it had a better vibram sticky tread that tipped scale in its direction.
