My previous pair was waterproof, so I was sorry to see this feature had been removed from this style. This is my fourth pair of Targhee II. They only last one year for me before the sole starts to separate from the shoe. However, I wear them every day to work in.

Excellent boot! Fits great and sizing is right on! Love these boots... worn daily and have lasted forever! The wear and tear is minimal but have had for over a year and literally worn everyday!

Husband loves them!

Finally a hiking shoe that is wide enough to accommodate a bunion! Footbed is cushioned enough and expect the sturdy construction will work well for mountain trail hiking this summer.

Bought these for my husband. We live in the mountains and my husband likes the higher support around the ankle. He did not need to size up like so many said. We bought his regular size 10.5 and the 11, and the 11 was way too big, particularly around the ankle and a bit too wide. He is using them as a work around the house boot. We are re-landscaping and remodeling the house and he wears these boots 10-12 hours a day every day. He said they were comfortable from day 1. We did add in a orthodic insert day 4 of wear, just because he's used to a specific one. The Keens one was fine, it was just his personal preference. Another thing-his feet were sweating a lot in his old "work boot" which were 9 month old Columbia's with a similar profile, that had mesh venting and didn't hold up. So far, despite these Keens being heavier and looking less breathable, he hasn't had foot sweat. Lastly, my husband has pins in his big toe from a surgery. His toe was beginning to really hurt him with the old work boot. He has felt a relief of that toe pain since wearing these Keens. Would purchase again in a heart beat.

Zappo's is my favorite online store. Their selection is fantastic, and I love their overnight delivery. Everything I've purchased from Zappo's has been spot on, every time. I hope more companies copy their work ethic.

Function over fashion. Comfortable out of the box, lightweight for a size 15, and thick soled. Only complaint: like most Keen's they're just plain ugly.

so far so good these are super comfortable and as others have said order a bit bigger than normal. I wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10 ... this will give room for some warm socks during cold hikes. Construction feels solid, I have not yet taken them on a big hike but plan to soon.

I've been buying this model for a coupla years and by far they are my favorite boot

Excellent fit, great comfort and solid in terms of waterproofing. I used them for walking and fly fishing in shallow water.

I had to exchange my boots for a full size larger, but thanks to Zappos return policy, it was a breeze! The replacement boots are very comfortable. I would recommend these boots, but suggest ordering a full size larger.

Very comfortable shoe for people with wider flat feet. Great grip and comfortable insole. If only they were more stylish my wife would allow me to wear them everywhere

Bought these waterproof boots for an upcoming trip to Iceland. Generally I am not a fan of boots as they always feel clunky and stuffy but have worn these for a couple of break in hikes and they have been great so far. Definitely agree with buying a half size larger than normal and with that, the "D" width feels roomy for my generally wide and flat foot. The boots are light and comfortable right from the start and I am extremely happy with my purchase even though the price is a little higher than I was looking to spend.

Excellent shoe. This is my second pair even though I don't think I could ever wear out the first. Had a bad ankle break (surgery, plate, screws) and need a good pair of supportive footware during the 2.5 year recovery period. Wore them almost every day and they are still going strong. Good ankle support and the soul gives you a solid, stable base when it hits the ground, but yet absorbs the shock. The tabs at the top of the lacing holes hold the laces tight when you tie the shoes-a real plus.

Great boot and I have used them in the snow. very comfortable. I didn't need anytime to break them in. Very happy with the boot.

I love these boots! They are very comfortable right out of the box and become even more so as you wear them. I keep several pair so I can wear them everywhere - for casual use as well hiking in my woods. I wouldn't trade them for any other shoes!

Another great pair of Keen shoes. I ordered 1/2 size larger as recommended and the fit is great. Very comfortable and good for walking dogs in the snow.

thought the keen targhee II mids were a great buy.I do a lot of hunting and also have plantar faciitis,and these boots feel great,both comfort and for my plantar faciitis.Went to these boots because my other pair was nowhere near as helpful.Also would like to thank customer service for recommending this boot for me and spending 40 minutes on the phone with me answering my many questions and helping me do the research in finding the best pair for my feet and my conditions i would be using them on.

Best boots ever. They have held up to heavy use and are now being rotated with a new pair. I have a wide foot and love the fit of keens.

Wow!!! Best shoes and boots I've ever use. Very comfortable... feet don't get tired after long walkings... Perfect boots for outdoor escapes. Just a bit smaller, need to buy 1/2 size larger for perfect fit. I use Keen Utility at work also... no boot gave me the comfort that these ones has. Don't regret my purchase and will continue to use them... I definitely recommend these keen to anybody.
