Great shoes, fit well. Shouldn't take long for a break in. One positive thing about these shoes that was very noticeable, is there resistance to slipping on snow and ice. All my other work shoes have Vibram soles, they are the worst for slipping and sliding on wet frozen conditions. Keen soles are great. Their shoe prices are very competitive with other brands. I bought these shoes for my husband and he loves them. He is very rough on shoes but these are holding up well.

I've been a Keen fan for years and have several pairs of shoes, boots and sandals. These boots are typical Keens...very comfortable out of the box, well made and good looking. The only issue is the size of these boots run small. I usually wear an 11 wide, but the 11-1/2 EE fits perfectly.

Great hiking boot!

Received my Keen Targees last month. This is probably my 8th pair so far. When I tried on my first pair, it is as if I had worn these boots for years. Perfect fit. About 2 years ago I replaced a worn out pair, however they were a bit tight. My foot must have spread out a bit. Boxed them up, free shipping back to Zappos and within a week I had a new pair a half size larger. Fit was great! This past pair I just got, had two $15 coupons that I was able to combine and purchased this latest pair. Can't beat that!!

I love keen shoes but my foot is too wide for a woman's size. After I read the reviews I decided to try the men's boot because reviews said it ran small, plus I needed the width. Voila they fit perfectly and I am delighted with the design and comfort. A great buy. Thanks Zappos.

Nice, lightweight shoe. Unfortunately they do run small/narrow (and my 13 year old son does not have wide feet.) Zappos was out of "wide" size.

I like these boots. I am around 300 lbs and these boots give good support and comfort. I did order 1/2 size larger than I normally get and they were a great fit. I have walked a mile daily for two weeks in then very happy

Keen Targhee II Mid is very comfortable and supportive. I did not have any problem with it. I used it on several different occasions. I used it on a regular basis at work and when I go about my day during the weekends. I used it on hiking trips at my work in California and its been very useful. I really enjoyed wearing it with the support that it has and the grip you get when you're hiking on steep places. It also kept my feet dry and warm on cold mornings.

Awesome hiking/all terrain boot. I bought these for my 12 y/o son in a 9.5 W and they fit perfectly! Love the locking top lace hook, makes it easy for him to tie snugly.

These are soooo comfortable, in fact they feel like lite weight sneakers, not to mention stylish. I haven't tried these in cold temperatures or the rain yet, so I don't know how warm they are. I've been looking for these hiking boots for some time and now my search is over! As always, Zappos is the greatest! You can't go wrong with Zappos. I love these boots so much, that I'm going to order another pair in a different color.

these are perfect. I have extra wide feet for a lady and these fit just right. I read the reviews and ordered a half size bigger than normal and these boots fit perfect. comfortable to walk in and keep my feet dry walking the dog in the wet grass which was the reason I was looking for something like these to begin with.

I have very wide feet and as a woman it is difficult to find boots that fit. On a whim I went to a store and tried these on, but they were too narrow and they didn't have the men's wide width so I ordered them from Zappos who are always reliable. My men's size 7, WW width fit perfectly (for men they run small). I tried them out at home and they were comfortable so I ventured outside. The first time I walked with them, 5 miles, they remained comfortable and supportive. I have never said this about any hiking boot I owned in the past. I love these boots. Thanks Zappos.

Size does run on the small side. I read other reviews and went a 1/2 size larger a full size larger. They are comfortable right out of box. I will probably buy another pair if these hold up to my abuse.

Awesome boot! No break-in needed. I need wide boots and the Keen wide option is a perfect fit. I have logged over 100 miles hiking in these and they are only getting better. Typical hike is 8-10 miles with 40-45lbs of camera gear in remote wilderness areas. These boots have the support and comfort that makes them a 5 star boot

Quite comfortable, broken in easy within an hour of walking around. Nice wide toe box and fit well with a quality pair of wool socks. It's definitely got that less than flattering rubber toe shield, so it looks like a Keen. But who buys hiking boots for style? I'm just glad it fit. Thanks Zappos for letting me try on 13 pairs of boots to find the one that fit.

First off Zappos service is second to none. This is the second pair of Keen work boots that I've bought from Zappos. The anatomical steel toe can not be beat. I don't have many miles on these yet but the first pair are wearing very well and I expect the same from these. As I get older I care less about style and more for comfort but these boots are both.

Like most other reviewers have said, these are very comfortable boots. I have not hiked in them yet but I wear them to both school and my construction job all day long, so I go from walking on concrete to in the dirt and have no complaints. If anything, these so far are my favorite boots at this point. I wear low cut socks and still have no issues with them rubbing my ankles raw. Have yet to complain about being too hot either. Not too heavy but durable enough to work well going through rocks and dirt, so I'm sure they will work very well once I go hiking.

I've owned many pair's of these boots over the years and never had a problem. Long wearing, tough, and super comfortable. They do run small so order next size up, you won't be disappointed.

I have just finished trying 8 pairs of hiking boots, the issue being my wider foot and bunion. By far Keens were the best with the more square a wider toe box. I also went to a men's size 8, I am normally a 9, but Keens do run 1/2 size smaller. The men's allowed just a little more room in the toe box area and I hope these will be the perfect fit. Thank you again Zappos - for your free and easy returns. This FIT session would not have been possible without them!

The Keen Targhee II Mid boots are great. I am now on my third pair. My first pair were a little tight so I now order them a half size larger than what I normally wear and they fit great. Also, Zappos' service has been excellent. Their prices are competitive and their service is excellent.

Love this boot! I have broken my foot in the past so I need a really comfortable boot. I normally wear a size 10.5 bot ordered the 11. It is perfect! This is also a really good looking boot! After wearing the boot for a week, the loop on the tongue of one boot broke. I called Zappos and they readily replaced the boot. Not only that but they didn't want me to send the boot back but told me to donate it to someone in need! Wow, now that is service! Not only to me but also to the guy who got the other pair after a minor repair! Keep up the excellent customer service Zappos!

Need to revise my other review. Swear 12.5 and bought size 13 and they fit very nicely....So they feel a half size smaller. Cannot say what they feel like in the smaller sizes. I said that I had purchased 12.5 but in fact Keen does not make 12.5. Just ordered two more pairs of boots. Sorry for the confusion.

These are great boots. We just got back from doing three separate tours of Hearst Castle which included a total of over 700 stairs, standing and slow walk for over three hours. My feet were protected and felt great afterward. I have been a Keen fan for a long time.

Great boot! Fit is great. I have odd ball size 12.5 D...and cannot find many boots in my size. I like the positive capture top lace clips if one can call them that. Other boots top lace clips allow the laces to release from the clips and the boot gets all loosey goosey (sp?) and have to re-tie my boots. I do a lot of SAR and am on the regional Rope Rescue team and we are out in all kinds of weather...in the rain so far my feet are dry. Hope they don't sweat too much in the summer...but we'll see. Another feature I like is the high wrapped toe box. Many times in other boots this lip becomes unattached from the boot toe and collects mud, saw dust etc and slowly allows the sole to peal away. But not on these Keen Targhee 2's. Anyways, I love these boots and am planning on buying a couple more pairs in different colors. I can get about a year to year and half of use before they wear out. I'll have to do a follow up to see how long they last. Nice loops to help pull boot on as well!
