Beautiful boots. They seemed comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately, they were too big on my shins and too loose around my ankles. I don't have skinny legs but have run into this problem a lot lately. Not sure which brand might fit me better?!?

I bought these in a wide width. They fit nicely - my feet being wide but not with the gap near the top that so many wide widths have. They are really stylish and comfortable.

These are stunning boots! La Canadienne never lets you down. They are more gorgeous than expected, you say "wow" when you open the box and when you put them on and they are so comfortable you are amazed. The rich dark brown is so unique and the suede is so luxurious I cannot stop touching it. And they can be worn for real life: I am about to head out in the rain because they are waterproof! Every outfit this winter will include these boots. Thank you, Zappos, for your outstanding customer service!

These boots are awesome! Extremely comfortable. Classic style. The leather is soft and supple. I'm 5'2" and the shaft of the boot hits at the right spot. The shaft size is perfect for shorter girls. This is my third pair of La Canadienne boots. I bought my first pair (suede)three years ago and they still look brand new. The brand tends to be a bit pricey but it is well worth it as the boots will last for years!

Beautiful boots, a bit snug around my calf, but I suspect they will loosen up a bit. I am quite picky about comfort and these seemed quite comfortable. I am a true 6 1/2 and bought a 6 1/2 and there is still room for a medium thickness sock. The dark brown almost appears black from a distance, so I think this is a versatile color.

Gorgeous boot! Beautifully made and wide enough to be comfortable on my foot. Unfortunately, it's too big in the calf. Might do for pants, but not with skirts as I had intended. So I'm afraid back they go!

These are delicious boots. I splurged on these because they are waterproof and came in wide width. The are very comfortable and the quality is lovely. I especially like the interior wicking material, which is very soft and luxurious. I am actually looking forward to bad weather now! :)

Wow. These boots are as great as everyone says. They got me through the NYC winter and held up beautifully. The boots look great on and they're very high quality. They kept my feet and legs warm without getting sweaty. Also, I could walk for miles in these babies. One note - I have large calves despite having a small frame and I could zip them up without battling the zipper, so those of you with blessedly small calves might find them too big.

Best pair of boots I own. Fits perfectly! Finally found the right color Brown and suede is very soft. I like a plain boot and most have too much trim, buckles etc.

Amazing waterproof suede boots that look great with pants or leggings tucked in! I wear these boots all day at work lately (because of the multiple blizzards we've been getting) and they are comfortable (and not at all hot) all day long. I don't love the boots with dresses because of the wider shaft--not a sleek look.

These boots were not for me, for my granddaughter, she kept them loved them and was completely in love with them, the style the comfort and everything else. She wears them often. Excellent purchase.

These boots are beautiful in person. I am 5' with narrow ankles and normal calves and the fit on these boots is perfect -- they look like they were made for me. Unlike the Zappos video, these boots do not gap in around the calf. They are a beautifully fitted equestrian style boot, great for dressing up for work or down for casual. The leather is gorgeous and as always with La Canadienne boots, they are warm and waterproof. While not cheap, they are worth every penny for the quality, fit, style, and all the compliments that one gets when wearing them.

This boot is exactly what I was looking for. I live in Chicago and often need to walk a few blocks between my office locations in the rain and snow. Dressy enough to wear all day so I don't need to keep changing shoes. Fairly good traction with the rubber soles, quite warm and very, very comfortable. This is my second pair of La Canadienne's and I highly recommend this brand for those of us who live in the cold.

I love the classic style of this boot. It looks great with jeans as well as dresses. I wear a size 8 and have a average to wide foot. I wear a light knee sock and it fits very comfortably.

These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I hesitate to buy shoes online, but no store has the selection that Zappo's does. The size is right and they are beautiful and stylish. I liked the style online, and I decided to buy them because of the customer reviews. They are pricey, but worth it.

I am 5' 4" tall, weigh 156 pounds. My usual shoe size is an 8 1/2. These were too tight for my calves. If I were 30 pounds thinner, they would probably fit fine.

Love these boots! Attractive, well-made, great deep rich brown color. Even better - they don't aggravate my bunion, which is a constant issue for me with boots.

I love these boots. I read all the hundreds of reviews of this boot and thought it was the right boot for me. It was a perfect fit for me as described in the reviews. I intend to get the brown colored boots after the new year. The good thing is is that they are plain and you can wear them for dress or with jeans as well. The service from Zappos was exquisite as usual. Bravo for a wonderful sales team!
