I love this boot. I had never owned a knee high that fit my calves, which are narrow, but these are perfect in narrow shaft width. The toe box can be stiff since I have a wide front foot, but it's overall super comfortable. I do wish it had a bit more foot bad padding. There's not enough room for me to add a substantial insole but something light and foam-esque would be fine. Despite all these critiques, these are excellent shoes that I can wear on my commute and for short/medium walks, though I wouldn't do so for a super long day of walking. Pricey but high quality.

These are great boots -- warm but stylish, and they go nicely over jeans or under dresses. Very versatile!

Loved these boots but could not zip the right one over my calf! I was so disappointed. :(

Beautiful boots but I have long legs and am 5'7".

I have a high arch and these boots with the 1.5" heel is as flat as I can go. It's super comfy and I went up a half size so I can wear thicker socks. I've tried a few boots and this one was the right heel height and shaft width and height. I am 5'-2". If you are looking for a comfy low heeled boot, this one can work with casual or business. And best yet, it's waterproof.

I had my eye on these boots for years. When they arrived, I was thrilled that they were just as gorgeous as they are in the pics. I wore them for a few hours around the house, and they were very comfy. My feet are on the wider side, so I ordered them in a wide. They're a bit loose in the foot ankle - which is good because I like to wear thick socks. However, the calf is pretty smug. I've only worn them with jeans tucked in, so hopefully, with tights they won't be as snug. They're not uncomfortably tight, but from the pics I thought they'd be looser. They are very well made. The suede is soft. So far, they seem to be a sturdy, classy boot which will last for a long time. Left boot fit loose in heel

I wear a size 10 and verge on a wide. However, the 10 mediums fit me great. I have muscular calves so, for me, shaft is a tight fit, but there is a small,discrete elastic panel at the top of the shaft right above the zipper that keeps them comfy. I stand for hours at my desk and have walked long distances in them and my feet feel great at the end of the day. They are elegant and understated and go with anything. Just realizing that I purchases these almost 2 years ago ( Feb. 2015) and they still look fantastic prompted me to write this review. I live in Minnesota and these boots go through ice, water, snow, and salt and I just wipe them with a damp cloth. I felt terribly guilty when I bought them for $365 having never spend that much on shoes before but now view them as a fantastic value.

Amazing boots. Comfortable for a full day of walking right out of the box.

These boots are incredibly comfortable. I've never put on a pair of boots and known I could wear them all day without a problem. The suede is very high quality. The boots are quiet when you walk, something I have to have in a boot, not noisy. I've struggled to find just the right boot and have slowly been working my way up to La Canadienne's. The price has held me back from ordering them in the past, but now that I've tried a pair it will be my go to brand. Thanks to Zappo's return policy, I've been able to compare different boots and better understand what I want in a boot. As much as I liked these boots, the shaft was just a little bit too loose for the fit I was looking for and the suede didn't have enough structure for me.

This boot was sooo comfortable right out of the box. Although it is expensive, I expect it will last for years. I'm so excited to have stylish, practical, and wearable boots!

A very versatile boot. I recently went to Denmark and took only these boots to travel with. They were comfortable enough to endure a lot of walking but stylish enough to wear with a dress to meetings. They have a fleece type lining that is nice and warm. A good purchase.

These fit perfectly, are so comfortable and look amazing. I own multiple styles of this brand because they are the only boots I've found that consistently fit so well and haves styles I love. They are expensive but I've tried many others that have failed to work for me so they're worth it.

Very comfortable boots. They don't look pricey. The leather looks like man-made leather. The interior lining is made of some synthetic fabric.

I was trying to get away with buying a less expensive waterproof brand (Blondo) but they were just too stiff and uncomfortable. This boot is very soft and fits like a glove. Almost too much like a glove. I'm not fat, but while the wide gives me lots of toe room, it's very tight around the ankles and calves. There's no way I could tuck pants into these. I may wear them around the house a bit before I decide for sure, as they are expensive.

Good looking boot, but I found it looked sloppy on my foot and leg. Maybe I need to try it a half size smaller.

Perfect in every way. Extravagant? Yes, but I'll wear them with everything. I also have Passion in brown suede, so I knew I would love the style, but was not so certain the leather would be as comfortable. However, they are. Love these boots. Have worn them in the rain, with no problem.

I bought this style because it said the toe area had more room and the shaft was larger. The toe area does have more room so my toes are not pinched together as my other pair that are mid calf. The shaft was larger than my other mid calf boots. I don't have large calves and these fit nicely, but no extra room. They are comfortable, warm and waterproof. I do put a foot liner in the sole for extra comfort as I have done with all my La Canadienne boots. I now have the tall ones, mid calf (two different pairs) and ankle boots. All are waterproof and warm. I wear them in cold weather, ice and snow. They are great!

Gorgeous boots. Fit perfect, comfortable, well made and water proof! I was so impressed that I bought the black and brown in suede.

These boots are the best! I love that they are waterproof and insulated! They were so comfortable right out of the box! I wear a size 6 wide and the fit is absolutely perfect! Worth every penny!!!!

These are beautiful, fit great, and are very comfortable. But the heel height was not the look I was wanting so I ordered two other higher heel La Canadienne styles and will be keeping one of those.
