MBT - FABULOUS -
The MBT's are quite ingenious in design. They do slip on the heel, but if you tie them like runners do, then they are fine. Certain MBT's do slip, others don't. That's what they are supposed to do. I even hired the only MBT trainer in my state as my personal trainer. She is the one that showed me how to tie the shoes so that there would be no slipping at the heel. It was never uncomfortable...just different. They do work out your legs at first, which is fine. It is supposed to simulate walking in sand, like at the beach. They have a website, you can learn all about the shoes there! Pricey, but worth every penny!

These shoes work!!!
I already had a pair of the lower MBT tennis shoes - I love them and decided to try the higher heel. They are just as comfortable as my first pair. I walk every day and in the last 2 weeks I have lost 4 lbs. and my legs are really toned. Plus, Zappos.com had them to me in 3 days! These shoes are expensive, (and not attractive at all!), but they work!!

WONDERFUL!!!!
I don't understand how everyone is saying that it took them weeks and months to get used to them. I put them on right away and they felt excellent!!! I do feel that they work more muscles than regular shoes, especially when you run. You feel really bouncy, too! THESE SHOES ARE THE AWESOME. BUY THEM NOW. (I don't know if my lack of needing to get used to them or any problems whatsoever have to do with me being a 14-year-old high school athlete, but I recommend these shoes to everyone).

MBT shoes -
I really like my shoes. I have had them for about a month and wear them all the time. I have wide feet and usually need to buy shoes in a wide size and so I was worried that these shoes would be too narrow (since they don't come in a wide). They fit pretty well. If they came in wide sizes, I would still buy the wide size but these have worked out fine. I have not noticed any dramatic difference in the workout they give my legs, but I have noticed a small difference.

MBT Review -
They are little expensive, but MBTs have helped in both my posture and how I go about taking steps during my walks. They also become quite comfortable after you get accustomed to them.

WOW!
I bought these MBT's after reading the reviews in magazines and on the web. Wow they do not disappoint. I highly recommend reading the literature and watching the tape. A friend bought these from a shoe store and they incorrectly told him how to walk in them.

Happy Feet -
I own both the MBT High and Low Sport shoes and love both. I've worn the low shoe for ~3 years now, just for walking around and casual wear. I wear the high shoe strictly on the treadmill. Both shoes have made a world of difference in relieving chronic low back pain, hip pain and stiffness and weak ankles. I can't say enough good about the benefits of these shoes if they are worn and used as recommended. Take the time to look at the information CD that comes with the shoes and learn how to get the most out of the features. If you do that, the price is worth it with fewer visits to the chiropractor! There is no gimmick to these shoes...they work!

Not high fashion -
I bought a pair of white 'high' MBTs recently, after using my grey 'regular' shoes for 2 years.
If you follow directions, concentrate on your form, especially when first using them, they will help you.
During a long fibromyalgia flare, walking was extremely painful. The MBTs have helped tremendously, I no longer limp and my body seems to be much better aligned.
The high style does challenge the body more than the regular, which is great for exercise. These shoes are great!

Not for rugged terrain -
Comfortable, gives great cushion. Shoelaces get untied easily. Because of height of heels, it is not for uneven terrain like trails. There is more risk for twisting at ankle. Otherwise great for walking on flat even surfaces.

High Steppers -
Initially, walking is a bit awkward. If you plan to do any running I would not wear these shoes. I wear a Polaris exercise belt when I walk and I burn a few more calories when I wear the MBTs. I did expect a little more arch support esp. with the height of the shoe.

MBT Great Concept; Not So Great Comfort -
First, I have to admit, these shoes really increase the intensity of my running routine. I break a sweat much sooner and can feel the extra effort I need to keep going. I have seen a slight difference in the shape of my calves (have always been on the "thick" side). I run 4 days/week and use these 3. I really recommend them to help improve performance. Now, I have to mention the negatives. If you are someone that likes a very flexible running shoe (like me), the stiffness of this shoe will be a real shocker. Also, I am one of those people that get numb toes after 15-20 minutes on an ellipse of certain types of steppers. These shoes create the same sensation after about 15 minutes. I am not sure if it is the stiffness or the somewhat narrow upper end of the toe box. Maybe starting with the lower version would have allowed me to adjust more...whatever the cause; it is a very real and consistent issue. I have tried different lacing patterns and gel toe spacers...hoping something would help. Nothing worked. Despite this discomfort, I am trying to give my feet the chance to adjust. I have been using them for about 2 months now. Keep your fingers crossed!

Worth the Money -
Love the shoe, I am on my feet 12-16hrs a day six days a week and trust me that I have and are putting them through the test. They do feel a bit narrower than expected, therefore my feet get tired, but I am on my feet for at least 12hrs. They do make your legs work.

I used these shoes to walk 3-4 miles every day in Cancun, Mexico for 2 months. I have a wide foot and although the overall cushioning was great, the toe box was too narrow and tight, causing me some distress after repetitive uses, even though I ordered a l/2 size larger than my normal size. Overall except for the narrow top box, it was a great walking shoe and gave a lot of support and cushion. If you have a narrow foot, you will be OK with this shoe. If you have a wide foot, order a full size larger.

Made for walking, not sitting -
The Sport High is my 4th pair of MBTs. They are the best yet for walking and for standing for long periods. Like the hiking boots, though, they are less good for sitting and driving. I think most people will not need to order more than a 1/2 size larger than their "normal" size. (Since all I wear anymore are my MBTs, and the MBT sizes are all over the map, I don't know if I have a "normal" size anymore. That's why it's so great to order them through Zappos.)

I love these MBTs -
I did a little tweaking, and added arch supports like they said not to, and I was amazed that my feet didn't hurt after wearing them two straight days- but the muscles in my legs and back were pretty darn sore- a good thing! The hardest part for me is walking in the manner they recommend- doesn't come naturally, and I have a short attention span, but I figure I'll learn. My only complaint? They really are goofy-looking. Definitely worth overlooking, but goofy-looking is one feature all MBTs have in common, IMHO. Buy them anyway; you won't care how they look because they feel so right.
One more thing- do yourself a favor- read the instructions AND watch the video or you won't get the full benefit of wearing MBTs.

MBT Sport High -
Really comfortable, takes a little getting used to. You really need to focus to get the proper stride, but once you have it, then it’s more second nature. I did get some heel slippage/blisters from exercise walking - hoping that will eventually go away once I break the shoe in.

This is my first pair of MBTs. I've had them for about three weeks now and I have to say, my pants fit a lot looser than they used to be. There was no adjustment time for me; I wore them the first day for a full shift managing my restaurant. I try to wear them two or three times a week, but find it hard to compromise style for function (I usually wear high heels at work). However, they do what they claim to do, and well.

Industrial strength sneakers!
I wear a 7 1/2 usually with athletic shoes, but with these, I had to size DOWN to a 7 (Euro 37) - they're quite bulky and can slip off the foot with each step if the fit is too loose. I agree that the styling is not the most flattering - they look like I have rafts on my feet, but the sport high has nicer detailing and a pointier toe box, so it appears more like a regular running shoe compared to the sport low style. These shoes are really tough - you have to be comfortable in them from the get go because you can't really break them in. I've had mine for a year and they're just as sturdy as when I first took them out of the box. The sensation of walking/running in them takes getting used to. The first couple of days I felt like I was going to pitch forward - it forces me to have better posture and I definitely feel the muscles on the soles of my feet and my calves working triple time. I agree with other reviewers that these shoes are a great investment if you have any foot or back problems. I love mine, but I wish they weren't so chunky looking... I feel self conscious wearing these with anything, but pants.

Be wary of size choice -
These shoes run a size small so order one size larger than normal. Even a size larger is giving me some difficulty with tight toes. I plan on giving these some more time because most of the reviews are so positive. I'm determined to like them.

MBT works the legs as promised -
I was hesitant to order these shoes because I had tried on several styles before and was not pleased with the clumsy look of the shoe. A colleague was wearing them one day and I asked her what she thought. She loved them! So I ordered the shoes and have been very pleased with the benefits of wearing the shoes. I have a narrow heel, so I had to insert a heel cushion to take up some of the space. They are very comfortable to wear for a pretty long period of time. I definitely feel the muscles in my legs and gluts ache the next day after using them when I work out!

Went from Low to High, no problem -
My second pair of MBTs. Made the transition from low to high just fine, although I can feel a slight difference (harder). I'm not sure how much these shoes actually do, but I do notice a workout in my feet the most.

GOOD SHOE -
Its takes a couple days to get used to the shoes. First time feels like your walking on platform shoes. But after the 1st full day of wearing them at work and a good night sleep after. I woke up the next AM stiff as a board. So you cantell that the shoes do make you exercise muscles you don't normally use.

Moonwalker In Training -
I heard of MBTs from a friend, looked 'em up online, and was intrigued enough to get a pair. I was advised to get the "standard" height, but got the "high" because I felt I'd outgrow the standard very soon and would then want the high. I'm glad I did -- if you're at all athletic the high is not difficult to get used to, unlike what the marketing says.
I did feel pain in my left shin and left arch within the first 20 minutes of walking, but both went away within 45 minutes, not to return.
I find the shoes have a "walk on sand" feeling. It also makes walking fun and less jarring, with its cushioned rocker heel. I haven't seen any major physiological benefits yet since I've worn 'em less than a week, but suspect it's already straightening my walking posture -- the rocker heel doesn't make slouching comfortable.
While the shoe is so padded as to be very comfortable, I found sizing a little off. The shoe at my measured size ran small (snug and OK around midstep, but short lengthwise), and the recommended half-size-up had a little play (OK lengthwise, but a *tad* loose midstep). *Lacing* the larger size tighter doesn't help that much because the play is lateral, nearer the bottom of the midstep, where lacing has less of an effect. Anyway it doesn't feel sloppy-loose, and I went the half-size up.
The shoe itself is well constructed. A couple times I accidentally dragged my feet walking on asphalt, but the soles don't show scuffs.
The shoes don't *look* stylish (even if they don't look *bad*). In future I'd consider having an MBT reseller put an MBT rocker sole on an upper of my choice. (MBT licenses the technology).
