MBT Sport High - Just OK- for the price- lot of hype and not so comfortable- I like to walk for distance and would prefer a wider shoe to accommodate a good set of Thorlo socks, and again for the price they could improve the arch support and cushioning on the floor of the shoe.

Ms. L Zacpal - I was very happy and excited to receive my MBT shoes. After wearing them a couple of times for short periods of time in my house to ensure no damage to the soles I wore them on a 45 minute walk and ended up with a very severe blister on my right heel. The blister is open and deep and so bad that I have not been able to wear a closed shoe since. I don’t know what to do.

Over-correction causes pain - I am slightly bow-legged, and these shoes are definitely not made for this condition. They seem to over-correct pronation, which ended up placing extreme pressure on my knees. Also, I tried just wearing them casually (instead of as workout shoes) and ended up with a LOT of back and heel pain, even though the shoe feels like it has a lot of cushioning. Like another reviewer, I also experienced tow numbness even though my feet are not wide - the tow box is just too narrow. It's a shame because a lot of other components of the shoe construction are really good - great mid sole, nice outsole, stitching is good, lacing system is terrific, and (despite what some others said) I thought these were cute considering they are athletic shoes. Maybe they work for some people but they were definitely money down the drain for me.

I love all MBT's *except* these sport High ones - I have the sandals, I have the regular white running shoes, and I have the casual brown ones, and love them all. I hate the Sport High ones. I find that my ankle wants to turn when wearing these and they don't feel stable. They rub my heels and are just generally not comfortable. I also don't find that they provide any extra "workout" on my legs over the regular MBTs.

MBT Review - It feels like I have a ball stuck in the arch of my foot. I have tried to like them but I don't. They are uncomfortable to walk in and uncomfortable to walk on the treadmill in. Maybe it's just not the shoe for me. It is also too big in the heel. I would send it back if I could.

Mixed Review - I've worn the MBT Sport High 5+ miles per day (7 days/week) for 9 months. They are great for posture, good for muscle reshaping and fair at cellulite reduction. It is true that the design of the shoe causes you to feel it has great arch support. I have high arches and had no problem with them. However, the shoes caused my heels to roll inward, causing over pronation which led to shin, knee and hip pain. (I was in denial for quite awhile, wanting these shoes to be great!) Also, the lining in the heel of one shoe wore out within one month, the material feels cheap, the soles wore out quickly and the fit is sloppy. For the price, I'd say more work needs to be done improving the quality. I was most disappointed with the severe over pronation this shoe caused my feet (not a problem I've ever had before in any other shoe). It was quite severe, and will prevent me from buying this shoe again unless adjustments are first made to the structure of the shoe. This shoe appears not to be good for every foot type.

Rip-off that causes knee problems. No stars on this one. Total rip-off. I walk on average 3 to 6 miles a day. Following the advice on the DVD that came with the MBTs I had nothing, but knee problems due to wearing these. Nor did they shrink my backside as the ads imply. When I stopped wearing these, the knee problems left. Even had the shoes fulfilled the promise of the ads, the price is absurd. There is absolutely nothing in these shoes to justify the price tag. I would never buy from this company again. These shoes were so bad, I wouldn't even donate them to Goodwill.

I really wanted to like these shoes after reading all the reviews, but they are just not comfortable at all. The heel is VERY heavy making it very difficult to keep on your feet- I even tried different socks, but it just kept on slipping with every step. I also have bunions, and the stitching seems to cut right into the bunion as well...so as much as my feet were craving a comfortable shoe, this style was not it! They are just too heavy & clunky to walk in. I did like how they looked though- very cool!

Don't Believe the Hype - My husband and I both have these shoes and neither of us like them. I've spent considerable time trying to break them in and my feet have yet to feel comfortable in this shoe. I've added several different types of inserts to put more arch support in but nothing seems to help and I don't really have arch support problems with any other shoe. My first time out I developed serious blisters at the heel and decided I needed to experiment a bit more with my walk. There is a trick to your stride/balance technique while walking, which I mastered, but this is just an uncomfortable shoe. I'm kicking myself for ever having purchased this shoe. For the cost of these shoes I could have purchased two lesser priced but better shoes. Sadly, I fell for the hype...and they're ugly to boot! What was I thinking?

Not a good purchase - I would not recommend this shoe to anyone. The design causes drastic overpronation and will lead to knee and hip pain. I know from experience as it happened to me. They are very expensive shoes and the materials they use are very cheap. Save yourself money and pain and try something else.
