Nice, casual boot that is warm, comfortable and easy to wear. The square toe allows the foot to breathe. The wool lining can be itchy without socks, so I would definitely recommend socks.

These shoes are awesome! They are SO comfortable. I read on one review here that the sherpa or shearling ? lining was itchy... It is not. I wore thin socks with my shoes all day Saturday and all day Sunday in high 20s/low 30 degree weather and my feet never got cold nor did they ache. I thought I'd wear them for a few days to break them in before my trip to Europe... No need! They are already comfortable and feel great on my feet. I usually wear a 6.5 - 7 so I ordered the 6.5 and at first they were a little snug but molded to my feet after only a few hours. Zappos, you are great!

Comfortable, very warm, stylish! A great boot for a freezing winter with lots o' snow.

I just spent three days in Bar Harbor, Maine walking the beaches for sea glass in water up to my ankles. The average temp was 40 degrees. With air travel regulations so tight, these boots were the only shoes I had, so I also wore them out with a dress and tights at night. My feet stayed dry and warm.

This is an extremely comfortable boot. I have a problem with heel slippage in most boots but not these. I am returning the suede pair and keeping the leather version just because I think the look will last longer. I do like the new appearance of the suede - just not so sure it will hold up.

Love this boot! Less clunky than Uggs but keeps your feet just as warm...looks great and you can walk through slush and rain for miles.

I actually bought these in 2008 in Germany when the weather started to get chilly. The price is about the same here, and worth every penny. I wear them everyday and sometimes even walked to work in the rain and snow. If you want to ensure waterproof, I recommend spraying the boot with some sort of nanotech spray that you can buy at the shoe store. It may seem like a waste, but it has ensured my feet stay dry and warm. I sprayed them again before I started wearing them this season and still great. I have sort of a boxy toe area, and these have been spacey and comfy.

I love these boots! The minute I started walking in these boots they felt soft, warm and comfortable. I bought my usual size and they fit fine with a thin pair of socks (although you don’t need socks with the fur lining). I am always cold, so it’s nice to have my feet feel cozy. Appear well made. I just may order another pair in black.

I LOVE these boots. I was looking for something warm yet not bulky and could still dress them up or down. I would suggest buying them a size larger than you usually would if you plan on wearing them with heavy socks. In NC you wouldn't need heavy socks. I have worn them in the snow and rain and haven't had any issues with the zipper leaking. Top notch quality.

This is a GREAT boot. I have worn it nearly every day this fall and winter, and today I wore it in the snow for hours. I was the only one whose feet stayed warm and comfy all day. I just came back to order a pair in black too - and when the browns wear out I will surely replace them! I wear a 9 and ordered a 40, I can wear it with thin or thick socks.

These boots are very comfortable and light, but not waterproof. I purchased them for warmth and good traction, which are excellent, but hoped that they were somewhat waterproof. However, I am very pleased with these boots as I feel secure while walking on icy surfaces.

These are wonderful boots! It\'s like I\'m wearing slippers! So comfy and they really keep my feet warm while enduring Wisconsin winters.

Comfy and warm. I have had these boots for one year now, and they are wearing well. They were warm enough for walking days in winter Manhattan, and waterproof enough to withstand San Francisco rains. I recommend them. Zappos has always handled shipping and returns efficiently and politely.

I got these boots to go to the snow. We haven't gone yet so I can't say how well they worked, but I wore them last night, it was pretty cold, and they were great. I even got a compliment on them. They're comfy and cute. The wool inside is a little itchy but I'm sure they'll break in. I wear a 7 and the size fits snug without a sock. Very nice quality.

I have been wearing these boots for two weeks now in below zero weather and my feet stay warm. When I first put them on they felt a bit snug and I debated whether to keep them, but I am glad I did as the shearling has kind of molded to my feet and they fit great, even with a pair of smartwool socks. They are super light and sleek! I have worn them with jeans and cords so far. They are not big and clompy like some winter boots and I think they would work with dress pants if you're not looking for a big heel. The white stitching gives them a trendy look and the zipper works smoothly.

I absolutely love these boots! The minute I put them on I was in in heaven! Perfect fit! And they are keeping my tootsies extremely warm. I could wear them as slippers.

I tried far too many boots for warm, comfortable and cute, and these finally did the trick. They are more comfortable than my sneakers! And they aren't bad looking at all. I have not been able to really try them in the cold, but so far very happy.

Best boots I ever wore! We went shopping in Midtown Manhattan, Saturday after Black Friday, I was on my feet for 6 hours. These boots didn't make my feet tired and no pain at the end of the day. And it actually keeps my feet warm, too. I have 7 1/2 shoe size and I ordered size 39; it was perfect on my feet with thick socks.

Very comfortable boot - These boots are true to size and have the comfort and warmth I was looking for at a very affordable price. I have gotten a lot of use from them so far since the winter has been very cold and snowy.
