Cool boot - I love this boot...looked far and wide for a cool, comfy suede boot easy to pull on and off...good with all sorts of jeans, pants and for my nice but casual work place. Shearling is yummy. I have a narrow small foot and it works just right!

Love these boots - I ordered these boots for a one week trip to London in early December. I took these boots and a pair of Merrell bisects to wear on the trip. Basically I ended up wearing these boots the whole time. They look great with skinny leg jeans tucked in or under bootcut jeans too. They really kept me warm in London. We only had one day of steady rain - I walked in my boots with my toes dry and warm, and my sister was sloshing around in her sneakers. They were very comfortable walking all day long - I never had leg cramps or foot discomfort. I recommend these shoes. I have the brown pair.

Rieker Boots - Overall I am really happy with the boots. Many times a medium width is so wide that my feet move around inside the boot and they get really tired after a while. These boots are narrower, but not tight, and my feet are much more comfortable. The quality is good and I like the looks for a casual boot. My only problem is that they are just slightly short. I got a 39 (size 8). Usually I am a perfect size 8. If these were just a little longer they would be a perfect 5.

Perfect - I was looking for a boot I could wear everyday for work - I am an artist so no need to dress up. These are warm, but not too warm. They are comfy for sure. They fit my narrow-ish foot perfectly, so I wonder if these would accommodate people with wide feet. If I nit pick I'd like the boot to have a bit more chunkiness - more along the lines of Keen, Docs, etc and I wish they had more support. If a sneaker is 10 in support and a flip flop 0, these are a 6, but would I get them again, absolutely. They fit too well not to.

Amazing Boot! I brought these boots for my DC Thanksgiving trip. (I'm a Fl gal.) I knew it was going to be cold; I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking. I'm really into cute clothes... I wanted something that would look good with Seven for Mankind, True Religion Jeans... (you get the picture). These boots were a life saver! Not only were they truly comfortable; they kept my feet so warm due to the insulation; and they were totally adorable. Even after a long day of walking all around DC, I still did not want to take them off. I'm waiting for the temp to dip into the low 60's for me to wear them here in Fl. The only thing I would have liked more would have been a 1/2 higher heel since I’m petite (5'2). I absolutely love them.

Rieker's Z7170 - Love them! Warm and comfortable, very easy to clean. Wore them snow and rain and they hold up just fine. I wear size 8.5 and the 40 fits perfectly.

Boot critic - I've been searching for a warm & comfy pair of boots for winter and these are perfect! I haven't yet worn them out into the elements, just been testing indoors, however, they will be fine and the label states waterproof. Nice fleece lining inside, quality suede out, and rugged sole without looking bulky. Workmanship appears flawless, this is my first experience with Rieker which will now be a favorite brand. I usually wear a 9-9.5 and ordered these in 9.5 which is a bit roomy, the 9 would've been ok, but now I have room for thick socks if needed. Also, they don't make my feet look big! Happy with purchase! Thank you Zappos!

Amazingly comfortable - I can't believe how warm on comfortable these boots are! I was a bit daring and wore them for the very first time when I was planning on walking around the city for a few hours. I was absolutely amazed...they fit like a glove and took no breaking in time at all. I will be wearing these almost daily this winter for sure. One more thing, I ordered 1/2 size larger as people recommended and this worked perfectly.

Great winter boot - This shoe is great, excellent quality. I've been searching for a while to find an all-leather winter boot with warm lining (this one is wool lined!) and this one is perfect! I have narrow feet and it fits well. It's also a lot less bulky and more fashionable than a lot of other boots I tried and could even be worn with a skirt or dress! Well worth the money! German quality!

German’s best - The Rieker Z7170 is warm and comfortable. It zips up to midcalf; even fits my big calves. Have not worn them under really wet conditions but they are supposed to be waterproof. We shall see. I wear size 8.5 - 9 and the 40 fits perfectly.

Love, love, love this boot. This boot is warm and comfortable. With socks, it's good for cold temps. I love the look...sleek and less clunky than many other boots with a fleece lining. The footbed doesn't have fleece but it's padded and very comfy even without socks. Top of the zipper doesn't rub like other ankle boots. Wish they had other colors - I would buy more!

One pair arrived with glue on the inside liner and a bumpy surface. The second arrived shorter than the first (same size offered). Seems like sloppy workmanship in an otherwise very nice boot.

Grew up in Europe and until I tried this boot on, forgot what it feels like to wear good footwear. Sorry Aerosoles, still love you. Too bad Europeans do not deem to make a wider shaft, the only drawback.

Good quality, warm, very comfortable boot. Ankle was good and snug, didn't seem like it would sag. I didn't love the seam styling around the toe, thought it looked a bit mannish when my trouser leg covered up the calf part of the boot. The main reason I returned this boot was because I'm looking for waterproof, and the zipper does not have any kind of goring behind it to prevent water from seeping in through the teeth if I were to step in a deep puddle.

Although cuter than many other boots for those snowy, sloshy days, they are somewhat snug so I don't know that I could wear them all day. Granted they are new so I'm hoping they will stretch some.

Having to deal with Plantar Fasciitis on both feet, and a knee-injury, I needed some good winter shoes that I could wear all day, and while standing hours and hours on my feet at work. Well, even though I can't wear my ortho-insoles in it, these work! Bought them last year in both colors, and love them. No pain whatsoever and my feet kept on healing while I was wearing them. And love that they are waterproof - who needs 'winter' boots that aren't waterproof!? Maybe it's just personal, but they have a slight 'grandma'-look. They look more cozy than dressy or hip. Guess I'll have to buy some dressy ones at Zappos too! Also the lining is made from wool, which, since I'm, allergic, forces me to wear long socks in it. So that's a bummer. But definitely recommendable and safe for people with foot problems, will wear them for years to come; totally worth every penny.

I so very much wanted to keep these shoes. They are as cute on as everyone has said: sleek, sharp looking and warm with the shearling liner. They fit snugly, but in a good way, with no rubbing. The problem for me was the sole. I have a bad back, so I look for supportive (not soft) sole with arch support. The sole of this shoe is rather soft, enough that you could bend the front of the shoe backwards on itself. I know some really like a soft footbed, but for those who need something firmer for a lot of walking or standing, this unfortunately just didn't work. Too bad, as this boot is really good looking on!

These boots are very good-looking and extremely comfortable. However, they are not warm enough for seriously cold conditions. It's hard to find a boot that is cute, comfortable, and very warm. This fits two of those categories; however, just standing outside in our 0 degree weather for a few minutes, I felt the cold seeping in on the tops and sides of my feet. I will probably keep them because they are very nice-looking and certainly warmer than my other non-insulated dress boots, a nice winter boot for when you don't want to be wearing five-pound clompers. But for shoveling snow and braving serious elements, it's probably better to have some Sorels.

Love these in black! Warm, comfy, and a rugged look. Perfect for apres ski or just around town in the rain. Zipper does stick to the lining that is a bit of a drag; will see if I can fix it.

Really like them - These boots are very comfy, warm and (almost 100%) waterproof. I stepped in some slushy puddles and water seeped through the zipper. Otherwise, they have been great for a yucky Midwestern winter.

Decent boot - I really like the look of this boot. It looks nice and tailored with jeans or pants and not at all bulky like other bad weather boots...however, it has a rather thin sole so not a lot of cushion which suprised me after reading about the 'shock proof' insole. Overall, a nicely made pair of boots to get me thru a nasty Indiana winter.

My new go to shoes - Yes these are my new comfy favorite shoes that I wear rain or shine. I give them 4 stars for looks because I don't think they are the cutest boot on the block. The hush puppy top offset with cream stitch is a nice touch though. The only issue for me with size 11 feet is that 42 is a little small. I still wear these all the time with no foot pain despite the fact my big toe touches the front.
