I really like these boots. It hasn't snowed yet to really test them out, but they feel very comfortable and warm. A size 5 normally fits me perfectly in most brands, so I ordered a 5.5 to have room for 2 pairs of socks (like the other reviewers suggested). The 5.5 is quite a snug fit (too snug for thick wool socks, or two pairs of socks) so I am a bit disappointed. Other reviewers said the next size up is huge and in addition to that I am in Canada so would have to pay the return shipping etc. So I will stick with the 5.5 and who knows, maybe they are so warm I won't need the extra pair of socks anyway!

I truly wanted to keep these boots, liked the style ad the size was good and great color. The problem, the quality was not up to other Sorel boots that I had bought. Am disappointed that I had to send them back.

These boots are definitely well-constructed but they are very BIG looking and very heavy. That is my main issue.

Felt kind of cheap compared to other boots (wasn’t sure how long or well they’d hold up to the NE winter beating), didn’t feel very warm, color looked dingy compared to white in picture, and sole not very comfortable actually kind of hard feeling especially in the arches (didn’t think I’d be able to outlast the kids when we play outside in snow).

I found these to unfortunately be non waterproof, and when I had to stand still out in the snow while waiting in line, at only about 25 degrees fahrenheit, my feet got cold after about 25 minutes despite wearing thick high quality wool blend socks. And I have no circulation problems. When active, as with walking or snowshoeing they are warm and comfortable, and have a good footbed for activity. But for serious outdoor exposure and cold, these are not adequate.

I bought this boot because I was on a tight budget last year and NEEDED boots for the usual Chicago weather and I was a dog walker at the time. I bought a half size bigger for the thick socks at the suggestion of my caring mother and it fit perfectly with my wool socks. They kept my feet nice and toasty for sure. As far as dryness goes, it was legit at first, but two months later, I ended up with soaked socks. I wasn't gallivanting in water either. It was from about 2/3 in curb slush spots. I was very disappointed, but hey, that's what happens. If you don't walk too much er have a car, this is pretty good for that. Gave it an ok rating because I'm a brat. I can be completely soaked from rain and snow, but if my shoes hold up and keep my feet dry, I will stay the happiest person in the world. If my feet get wet though, everyone and everything is on my crapppp list. It's a big deal haha. Good boot overall though.
