I love these boots! They are very pretty, and comfortable. They look exactly like the ones on the picture. They do seem half size bigger though, but it's not a problem at all. Thanks to Zappos for outstanding service!

Sorel's Cumberland II - I ordered this boot for very cold days to be outside shoveling snow, or whatever. I ordered an 8 1/2 (I wear an 8 shoe consistently), but I thought that there should be a bit of room inside of a boot for heavier socks. Time will tell if they become too loose. They are attractive for a lug boot, and they are fairly light-weight. The color is a taupe-khaki shade.

Great Snow/Winter Hiking Boot - I love this boot. It supports my feet and ankles very well. My feet stay warm and dry. Because they're lighter than other boots I've had in the past, makes winter walking more enjoyable. Also, it's a pleasure to shop on the Zappos Website. The selection is incredible, service excellent, and their return policy makes shopping risk-free. I'm a happy Zappos repeat customer.

super warm super comfy - Got these after a year-long search for winter boots that had an urban feel. So far the winter has not been extreme enough to test them out but they are very comfortable and warm. I have small ankles and since these are lace ups there are more adjustments I can make. If the weather is so bad that I have to wear these then I do not care what I look like... neither does anyone else... they look tough and they mean business. Looking forward to many years in them.

kyle - I bought this for walking in the winter. I am able to put my orthotic in the boot very nicely/ The boot fits mid calf, so it will prevent any deep snow from getting inside. It is a very warm and dry boot.

Very comfortable boot - I ordered these in the Frost color yesterday afternoon and was expecting to receive them the day after XMAS. Well, to my surprise they arrived earlier this afternoon! I have been walking around in them since and they are very comfortable. I am a true size 8.5, got these in the 8.5 and they fit perfect with enough room in the toe for a boot sock. I am so glad I did not order the 9 as they would definitely be too big. I also do not find them to feel heavy or clunky at all. The true test will be when I wear them out in the snow but they feel as if they will keep my toes nice and warm. Another great feature is they come up high enough so you can tuck your pants in.

Great snow boots! I bought this boot to o to Montana and stand in the snow. I needed something warm and flexible and this is it! I think it looks really nice, too (in Oyster) and is very comfortable. I wear a 9.5-10 in most brands and got a 10 to allow room for extra socks. One note: if standing in snow for an extended period of time wear more than one pair of socks! The toe is not overly insulated.

Great Value! I love these boots. They are very comfy and warm. I got a 1/2 size larger based on other reviews but I should have stayed with my actual size. They still work nicely though. I also got the lace up instead of zip up because of the reviews and I'm glad I did. These are my go to boots for the entire fall/winter season! Rain, snow, sleet, hard ice - no problem. Plus they look cute and still fashionable w/my jeans tucked in.

Great boots! These boots are awesome. I recently moved to Central NY and have been trying to find boots that are warm, waterproof, comfortable, vegan, and not completely ugly. I have walked to work and around town in these boots every single day since it began to snow, and my feet have yet to feel cold, wet, or uncomfortable (or ugly!). I'm tempted to buy another pair, even though I think these will hold up for a long time!

Very comfortable. I thought they would be a little more thickly lined inside though. That is my only recommendation.

Great boot & fantastic service - I ordered these after reading the reviews. I did order one size up (usually take 8.5 but ordered 9.5 to have room for heavy/double socks). Fits great & they look cute. Ordered them at 5pm last night, they arrived at my door 10am this morning. Where else can you order shoes, get FREE shipping and have it arrive 17 hours later? Perfect girly winter boot for Mommy - I bought this boot in white, with the black sole. I love the way it looks! I love how it helped me navigate the worst ice / snow storm in Virginia that I've ever seen. I walked with ease. I spent all day shoveling. I had no issues with my feet at all. Perfectly dry and warm and I never slipped. Great traction. And I feel cute wearing them. The black sole also helps hide all the muck that gets on your feet that they put on sidewalks and streets - so it doesn't get on the pretty white part. The laces come out of the triangle things pretty easily at the top, but it's easy & quick to thread them back in. I don't need arch support at all for my feet, and I don't know anything about the arch support for this shoe. I don't think it has any. But put in supports from Birkenstock or some other brand & you're good to go. (Just change the sole insert.)

A Perfect Fit - I purchased these boots for my wife, and she just loves them. The fit was perfect right out of the box, and she wore them all weekend without any discomfort. Very nice looking boots.

I BOUGHT TWO, HAPPY - Love the shoes very stylish, used them to go to Tahoe fits great with snow boarding pants. Shoes are light and very flexible. Bought two pairs one white and gray.

Sorel's Comberland II Review - I took my boots to the 2007 Winter Deaflympics. There were skiing events and snowboarding events that we went to. The boots were amazing; they kept my feet warm and dry, not to mention the fact that they are beautiful. No complaints from this customer.

LOVE THEM! This is exactly what I've been looking for in a snow boot. Very light, but keep your feet dry and warm. Can tuck my jeans inside and adjust the laces to fit my foot. Easy to lace. Great fit for my foot, size 7.5.

Light, Stylish, Love It! I typically wear a 7, sometimes 7.5 but found that the Cumberlands in 7.5 were too small. My toes touched the very front of the boot. The boots also seem a little narrow in the front. Zappos customer service was excellent, they overnighted the shoes, matched the price of my first pair and even refunded me a small amount, and the 8's are a perfect fit.

Boot is warm, comfortable with adequate support, and waterproof. Got the white and after a while the white discolors - I only wear in the snow.

These boots are nice and warm, and they've stood up great for maybe three years now. That being said, I wanted to point out a few negatives that I'm always reminded of when snow season comes around. I wear a size 5.5 in most shoes and sometimes a size 5, but the smaller sizes of these boots must run large because even the size 5 feels too big. When I walk, my heel slips up and down, so I know if these boots didn't have a shaft, they would easily be too big. I'm also not a fan of wearing thick socks, I like the normal thickness ones. It may be the extra room is to accommodate thicker socks. The shaft of the boot doesn't shift around since I can tie the laces tighter there, so if you don't mind feeling your heel slip a bit while walking they can be fine. As a side note, I do a lot of walking in these boots, and the heel slipping with my normal socks (both ankle and knee high) has never given me a blister or any soreness from rubbing. The laces are hard core. They provide a lot of friction to not come undone, but lacing them up can be a pain sometimes. They oddly will hurt my hands as I try to get them tight, especially around my ankle area. I also don't feel like I can get them adequately tight enough around my ankle area which may be why I have the heel slipping problem. Taking them off is a breeze, though! Finally, due to the extra space in the boot around my ankles, it will sometimes cause the boot to bend awkwardly while walking where the boots crease inward. It ends up pushing uncomfortably against my foot, but I just adjust it a bit, and then it's fine.

These seem to run small. My toes were bumping the ends wearing my usual size. Classic Sorel style. Solid construction, felt warm.

This is a nice boot. It does run narrow which worked for me as I have a narrow width foot. They also ran a half size small. I wear a size 10N/S normally and these were just not comfortable to wear even with a lightweight sock. I am returning them.

I'm a true 8.5 to 9. Fit is a bit tight. No room for warm socks at all. I definitely need a 9.5. returning for same pair.
